MaintenanceandStorage

•Allowtheenginetocoolbeforestoringinany
enclosure.
•Toreducetherehazard,keeptheengine,
silencer/mufer,batterycompartmentandfuel
storageareafreeofgrass,leaves,orexcessive
grease.
•Keepallpartsingoodworkingconditionandall
hardwareandhydraulicttingstightened.Replace
allwornordamagedpartsanddecals.
•Ifthefueltankhastobedrained,dothisoutdoors.
•Becarefulduringadjustmentofthemachineto
prevententrapmentofthengersbetweenmoving
bladesandxedpartsofthemachine.
•Disengagedrives,lowerthecuttingdecks,set
parkingbrake,stopengineandremovekeyfrom
ignition.Waitforallmovementtostopbefore
adjusting,cleaningorrepairing.
•Cleangrassanddebrisfromcuttingdecks,drives,
silencers/mufers,andenginetohelpprevent
res.Cleanupoilorfuelspillage.
•Usejackstandstosupportcomponentswhen
required.
•Carefullyreleasepressurefromcomponentswith
storedenergy.
•Disconnectbatterybeforemakinganyrepairs.
Disconnectthenegativeterminalrstandthe
positivelast.Reconnectpositiverstandnegative
