Use a press cloth to avoid making a cloth shiny.
Do not use the iron for leather goods.
It may damage the clothing.
For coats and shaggy clothes, hold the soleplate away
from them when doing shots.
It may damage the clothing.
Be sure to use a patch cloth if you glue an applique or
an adhesion core together.
Set the temperature to [HIGH], set the Steam / Dry lever to [ Dry],
and be sure to use an ironing cover. If a manual is attached, please
follow it.

Press the SET / OFF button to set the [HIGH] temperature setting.
The temperature lamp flashes.
If you set any temperature other than [HIGH], water may leak out and Shot may not work.
Shower Steam is for
finishing thick fabrics
or wool
Always in [HIGH]
2 Getting started
You can use the iron when the temperature lamp stops flashing and stays lit.
(When you take the iron off the stand, the temperature lamp turns off.)
Set the Steam / Dry lever to [ Steam] or [ Shower].
Attention
If the iron is set to [LOW] or [MED], always set the Steam / Dry lever to [ Steam].
If the steam does not come out very well, press the Shot button several times to do a steam shot.
If you are ironing a blended fiber, set the temperature according to the lower temperature fiber.
Drops of water may adhere to the surfaces of the iron and the water tank when steam comes out. Wipe off the drops of water if too
many water drops collect.
Notice
When you put the iron back on the stand, it may make a hissing noise and steam may come out of the soleplate, but this is not
abnormal. (This is because the water left in the channels within the iron is slowly vaporizing.)
When you first turn on the power, the iron may emit a slight smell and some smoke, but this will go away as you use it.
Flashing Lighting
Stays lit when it reaches the set temperature.

English
9
How to use ultra shot and hanger shot
You can do shots when the Steam / Dry lever is in the Dry, Steam, or Shower position.
We recommend regular ironing to remove the wrinkles from cotton and linen.
Wrinkles may be difficult to remove, depending on the amount of wrinkles, thickness and kind of the fiber.
Ultra shot You can remove wrinkles from woolen clothes
and give a fluffy finish to suits, sweaters, and
other woolen clothes with a blast of steam.
Hanger
shot
You can use an ultra shot vertically. You can
remove wrinkles from suits and other woolen
clothes while hanging clothing on a hanger.
Fluffy finish
This is effective if you hold
the iron close to the clothing,
and move it as if you were
rubbing its surface.
Hold the iron horizontally, and press the Shot button at
about 2 to 5 second intervals.
If you do it shorter than 2 second intervals, drops of hot water
may come out and cause burns or stain clothing.
Hold the iron upright, and press the Shot button at about
2 to 5 second intervals.
If you do it shorter than 2 second intervals, drops of hot water
may come out and cause burns or stain clothing.
Attention
Return the iron to the stand to recharge if shots are weak, or the button is hard to press while you are doing shots. (Once you remove
the iron from the stand, you can do about 7 to 10 shots. If you do more than 10 shots in a row, drops of hot water may come out.)
Ultra shots are stronger than steam, so be careful of burns.
When the water in the water tank is running low and shots have trouble coming out, refill the water tank up to the full mark.
If a shot does not come out the first time you use it, press the Shot button a few more times.
Do not tilt the iron or turn it upside down. Water may leak out if you do so.
Things you should know!
White powder may come out when shots (ultra shots and hanger shots) come out, but this is not abnormal. This is because the
force of the shot when it comes out has cleaned the steam chamber. If the white powder gets on your clothes, brush it off.
When you press the button to do shots you may hear a squeaking noise, but this is not abnormal.
If you shake the iron, you may hear a rattling noise. This is a sound of valve moving and is not abnormal.
While you are using the iron, you may hear a clicking noise. This is a sound of the automatic temperature adjuster or the Anti-Drip
System (Automatic water valve) valve moving and is not abnormal.

How to use the iron

Put the Steam / Dry lever in the [ Dry] position.
Flashing Lighting
Stays lit when it reaches the set temperature.
Notice
When you first turn on the power, the iron may emit a slight smell and some smoke, but this will go away as you use it.
The iron may not slide well when you iron wet clothes.
How to use the mist spray (FVW100 only)
The droplets of water in the mist are larger than in the steam, so the mist remains on the clothes and you can remove
stubborn wrinkles.
Use mist spray on cotton, linen, and similar fibers.
Press the mist button marked with to spray out a mist, then iron the clothes.
Attention
The first time you press the button, the mist may not come out. Press the mist
button several times.
Do not press the mist button slowly. If you do so, the water will not mist and
it will come out in big drops.
Water that is left in the mist shot pipe may drip out of the mist outlet while you
are ironing.
If this happens, hold the iron upside down and press the mist button several
times to clear the water from the mist outlet before you use the iron.

Charging the iron
When not using the iron, or when straightening the clothes, return
the iron to the stand so it goes straight onto the contacts.
If the temperature lamp is flashing, wait until it stops flashing and
stays lit before you use the iron.
Attention
If you change the temperature from HIGH to LOW, wait until the temperature lamp stops flashing and stays lit before you use the
iron.
(When lowering the temperature from [HIGH] to [LOW], the auto power off function may be activated if the temperature does not
readily fall. If the power turns off, reset the temperature setting.
About sparks on the stand contacts
The cordless iron is charged to maintain the set temperature, when you put it on the stand.
When you put the iron back on the stand or when you remove it, the contacts
may spark, but this is not abnormal.
Storing the iron
Do not leave the power cord attached
when you store the iron
Always remove the power cord before storing the
iron.
Place the case securely on the stand

stand, and press the SET / OFF
button to [OFF].
2 Unplug the power cord
1 Unplug the power
plug from the electrical
outlet.

to prevent the inside of the soleplate from
corroding.
1 Put the Steam / Dry lever in the [ Dry]
position, and remove the water tank.
2 Open the lid of the fill opening and
drain out all the water, then put the
water tank on the iron.

Attention
You can store the iron while it is hot, but drops of water may form on the case.
