INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
ŸLEA TODAS LAS INSTRUCCIONES ANTES DE USAR
ŸAl colocar la plancha en su soporte, asegúrese de que la superficie en la
que se coloca el soporte es estable.
ŸNo use la plancha si se ha caído en algún momento, si hay signos visibles
de daño o tiene fugas. Lleve el producto para una revisión antes de utilizar.
ŸLa plancha debe utilizarse y apoyarse sobre una superficie estable.
ŸEl usuario no debe dejar la plancha desatendida mientras está conectada
a la toma de corriente.
ŸSi el cable de alimentación está dañado, debe ser reemplazado por el
Servicio Técnico PUNKTAL o su agente de servicio o persona calificada
para evitar un peligro.
ŸEl enchufe debe retirarse de la toma de corriente antes llenar el depósito
de agua.
ŸLa plancha se utilizará en una tabla de planchar estable.

ŸNo utilice otro aparato de alta potencia en la misma toma de corriente, para
evitar una sobrecarga de circuito.
ŸPara desconectar, agarre del enchufe de la toma de corriente. Deje que la
plancha se enfríe completamente antes de guardar.
ŸNo usar al aire libre.
ŸNo utilice ningún aparato con un cable o enchufe dañado o si el producto no
funciona correctamente, o haya sufrido algún tipo de daños
ŸLos niños deben ser supervisados para asegurarse de que no jueguen con el
aparato.
ŸLa plancha no está diseñada para uso industrial o comercial, no doméstico.
ŸNo utilice este aparato para otra cosa que no sea su uso previsto. Este aparato
es solo para uso doméstico.
ŸNo coloque en o cerca de un quemador eléctrico o de gas caliente, o en un horno
calentado.
ŸNo toque superficies calientes. Par tomarla, utilice el asa o las perillas.

aparatos en agua u otro líquido.
ŸEl uso de accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante del aparato puede
causar lesiones.
ŸNo deje que el cable cuelgue sobre el borde de la mesa o el mostrador, ni toque

2. SUGERENCIAS ANTES DEL PRIMER USO
ŸAntes de usar por primera vez retire cualquier pegatina o lámina protectora de
la suela con un paño suave.
ŸAlgunas partes del hierro han sido ligeramente engrasadas y como resultado la
plancha podría ahumar ligeramente cuando se enciende por primera vez.
Después de un corto tiempo, esto cesará.
ŸMantener la suela lisa: no rayar contra objetos metálicos (por ejemplo, estante
de tabla de planchar, botones, cremalleras)
ŸLos tejidos de lana pura (100% lana) se pueden presionar con la plancha
ajustada a una posición de vapor. Preferiblemente seleccione la posición del
selector de vapor y utilice un paño de prensado en seco.

3. AJUSTE DE LA TEMPERATURA
ŸOrdenar los tejidos según la temperatura de planchado primero: lana con lana,
algodón con algodón, etc. La plancha se calienta más rápido de lo que se enfría.
Por lo tanto, empezar a planchar los artículos que requieren la temperatura
más baja, como los hechos de fibras sintéticas. Luego progresa a los más altos.
ŸSi faltan instrucciones de planchado, pero conoce el tipo de tela, vea la Tabla
siguiente. La Tabla es válida para los materiales reales y puede variar según
algún proceso de acabado aplicado a la tela.
ŸGire la perilla de control de temperatura hasta que esté frente al puntero de
ajuste.
ŸCompruebe siempre primero si las instrucciones de planchado están visibles en
el artículo a planchar (se pueden encontrar en una etiqueta que muestre un
dibujo de una plancha. Los números de puntos indican la temperatura correcta.
Consulte las indicaciones en el dial de temperatura y en la tabla siguiente). Siga
estas instrucciones de planchado en todos los casos.
ŸLos géneros textiles a los que se les ha aplicado algún proceso (brillo, anti-
arrugas, etc.) se pueden planchar a temperaturas ligeramente más bajas.

4. CÓMO LLENAR CON AGUA
ŸAsegúrese de que la plancha esté apagada y fría y que el cable de alimentación
esté desconectado de la toma de corriente.
ŸGire el control de vapor a la posición OFF y el dial de control de temperatura a la
posición MIN. Posicione la plancha horizontal apoyada sobre la suela.
ŸDe ser posible, se recomienda utilizar agua destilada o agua desmineralizada
solamente o mezclada con el agua de grifo. No utilice agua perfumada, vinagre
o aditivos de planchado en el tanque de agua, esto puede causar goteo y
manchas marrones.
ŸEl nivel del agua se puede observar a través de la parte transparente del
tanque, cuando la plancha se coloca verticalmente. Cuando el nivel del agua
disminuye, rellene el tanque, siguiendo el procedimiento descrito en los pasos 1
a 3 anteriores.
La mayoría del agua del grifo se puede utilizar en esta plancha. No utilice aditivos
de agua ni sustituya agua como ropa de cama o agua perfumada en la plancha
de vapor, pueden manchar telas o dañar la plancha. Siempre llene hasta la
posición "MAX".
ŸLlenar el agua a través de la abertura de llenado en el tanque de agua, usando
vaso medidor proporcionado, verter agua hasta la línea "MAX" en el tanque.
Nota:
ŸVierta el agua restante después de su uso. Vacíe por completo el depósito.
5. DESCRIPCIÓN DE LAS FUNCIONES
Planchado seco:
ŸColoque la plancha verticalmente. Gire el control de vapor a la posición OFF,
ajuste el control de temperatura a la posición adecuada, conecte la plancha,
precaliente la plancha hasta que la luz indicadora se apague, puede comenzar
a planchar en seco.
Planchado con spray:
ŸAsegúrese de que el depósito de agua esté al menos 1/4 lleno. Simplemente
bombee el botón de spray, la niebla se rociará por la boquilla de rociado.
ŸAntes de usar la función de spray, compruebe la etiqueta de la tela para obtener
instrucciones de planchado, ya que algunas telas pueden ser manchadas o
marcadas con la humedad.
ŸLa función de rociado es particularmente útil para eliminar las arrugas
obstinadas y donde se necesita humedecer la zona a planchar en forma
adicional.
ŸEl spray se puede utilizar con vapor o planchado en seco.

ŸLa función de vapor proporciona vapor para eliminar las arrugas normales.
ŸGire el control de vapor a la posición ON para que comience a rociar vapor. Se
puede iniciar el planchado.
ŸLlene la plancha con agua como se describe en "Cómo llenar con agua". Gire el
control de vapor a la posición OFF.
ŸColoque la plancha en su talón trasero y luego conecte la plancha a la toma de
corriente.
ŸGire la perilla de control de temperatura a la posición de acuerdo con la tela que
se está planchando como se describe en el punto 3 de 'Ajuste de la temperatura'
ŸLa luz indicadora se apagará cuando el ajuste indicado alcance la temperatura
correcta.
Planchado con vapor:
ŸLlene la plancha con agua como se describe en "Cómo llenar con agua". Gire el
control de vapor a la posición OFF.
ŸLa función de Bomba de Vapor proporciona vapor potente para eliminar
arrugas obstinadas.
ŸPresiona el botón Chorro de Vapor para liberar el vapor de ráfaga. Pulsar el
botón varias veces puede ser necesario para preparar el sistema.
ŸGire la perilla de control de temperatura a la posición de acuerdo con la tela que
se está planchando como se describe en el punto 3 de 'Ajuste de la temperatura'
ŸColoque la plancha en su talón trasero y luego conecte la plancha a la toma de
corriente.
ŸComo se indica en la perilla de control de temperatura, el planchado con chorro
de vapor sólo es posible a la temperatura más alta indicada con la marca
'MAX', de lo contrario saldrá el agua en gotas desde la suela.
ŸEspere unos segundos hasta que el vapor penetre en la tela antes de presionar
el botón de nuevo para más vapor.
ŸNOTA: Para una calidad de vapor óptima, no aplique más de tres 'Chorros'
sucesivos después de que se apague la luz indicadora.
ŸLa luz indicadora se apagará cuando el ajuste indicado alcance la temperatura
correcta.
Función de chorro de vapor ó ráfaga:
Función de auto limpieza:
ŸLlenar el depósito de agua a la mitad con agua y poner el botón de vapor en
posición cerrada.
ŸColoque la plancha en su talón trasero. Ajuste la temperatura a "MAX" y
conéctelo.
IMPORTANTE: Su plancha dará los mejores resultados de planchado y durará más
si aplica la Autolimpieza una vez al mes.

¡Nota! No utilice ningún líquido o vinagre descalcificación.
ŸCuando la luz indicadora se apague, retire el enchufe.
ŸSostenga la plancha horizontalmente sobre el fregadero y pulse el botón
autolimpiador durante aproximadamente 1-2 minutos; Mueva la plancha hacia
arriba y hacia abajo lentamente mientras se autolimpia. Compruebe que toda
el agua y el vapor dejen de salir completamente de los orificios de ventilación de
la suela. Después del autolimpiado, vacíe por completo el depósito. Deje de
presionar el botón para detener la función limpieza automática. Repita el
procedimiento si es necesario.
ŸPlanche sobre una toalla para eliminar las gotas de agua que queden en la
parte inferior de hierro.
ŸEnfriar como de costumbre y almacenar la plancha.
ŸGire el control de vapor a la posición MAX y conecte la plancha y caliente
durante unos 2 minutos para secar el agua restante.
ŸCuando sea necesario, utilice un paño húmedo para limpiar y secar la plancha
fría.
ŸPara evitar rayar el acabado, nunca utilice una almohadilla metálica para
limpiar la suela, y nunca coloque la plancha sobre una superficie rugosa.
ŸAdvertencia: Para protegerse contra descargas eléctricas, no sumerja el cable,
el enchufe ni el aparato en agua ni en ningún otro líquido.
ŸGuarde siempre la plancha apoyada en su talón trasero para proteger la suela.
ŸEl almidón y otros residuos se pueden quitar fácilmente de la placa solo con un
paño húmedo.
ŸVacíe la plancha inmediatamente después de usarla. Ajuste el control de vapor
variable en MAX. y vacíe el agua que quede en el tanque. A continuación,
establezca el control de vapor variable en la posición OFF. No guarde la plancha
con agua.
ŸGire el Control de temperatura a la posición MIN y desenchufe la plancha y deje
enfriar la suela cuando realice el mantenimiento.

Thank you for purchasing PUNKTAL Steam Iron. Please read this instruction
manual thoroughly before use and keep it for your future reference.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
ŸThe plug of the supply cord must be removed from the socket-outlet before
the water reservoir is filled with water.
ŸThe iron shall be used on a stable ironing board.
ŸThe iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
ŸIf the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or
its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
ŸWhen placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the
stand is placed is stable.
ŸThe user must not leave the iron unattended while connected to the supply.

ŸThe iron shall not be used if the iron has been dropped at any time, or if there are
visible signs of damage or if the iron is leaking. The iron shall be sent to the
manufacturer or his qualified service agent before further use.
ŸDo not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance
to the factory for examination, repair or adjustment.
ŸThe use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may cause injuries.
ŸThe iron is not intended for regular use.
ŸDo not let cord hang over the edge of the table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
ŸTo disconnect. Remove plug from outlet. Let iron cool completely before putting
away.
ŸLoop cord loosely around iron when storing.
ŸBurns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use caution
when turning the iron upside down, there may be hot water in the water tank.
ŸDo not operate another high wattage appliance on the same circuit, to avoid a
circuit overload.
ŸIf an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 10 ampere cord should be used.
Ÿ· Do not use this appliance for anything else other than its intended use. This
appliance is for household use only.
ŸTo protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs, or appliances in
water or other liquid.
ŸChildren should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
ŸCare should be taken when using the appliance due to the emission of steam.
ŸDo not touch hot surfaces. Use handle or knobs.
ŸClose supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
ŸThis appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
ŸUnplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
storing

ŸDo not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
2. HINTS BEFORE FIRST USE
ŸSome parts of the iron have been slightly greased and as a result the iron might
smoke slightly when switched 'ON' for the first time. After a short while, this will
cease.
ŸKeep the soleplate smooth: do not scratch against metal objects (e.g. rack of
ironing board, buttons, zippers)
ŸPure woolen fabrics (100% wool) may be pressed with the iron set to a steam
position. Preferably select steam selector position and use a dry pressing cloth.
ŸBefore using for the first time remove any sticker or protective foil from the
soleplate with a soft cloth.

3. SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
ŸAlways check first to see whether ironing instructions are attached to the article
to be ironed (they can be found on a label showing a drawing of an iron. The
numbers of dots indicate the correct temperature. Refer to the indications on
the temperature dial and in the table below). Follow these ironing instructions in
all cases.
ŸSort the fabrics out according to ironing temperature first: wool with wool,
cotton with cotton, etc. The iron heats up quicker than it cool downs. Therefore,
start ironing the articles requiring the lowest temperature such as those made
of synthetic fibres. Then progress to higher ones.
Ironing chart
ŸIf ironing instructions are missing but you do know the kind of fabric, then see the
below. The chart is valid for the actual materials and do not concern any applied
finish, gloss etc.
ŸTurn the temperature control knob round until it is opposite the setting pointer.
ŸTextile to which some kind of finish has been applied (gloss, wrinkle relief etc.)
can best be ironed on somewhat lower temperatures.
Tips: Always start ironing the fabrics that require low ironing
temperature setting, and then increase the temperature
setting for fabrics which require higher temperature.
The iron heats up faster than it cools down.

4. HOW TO FILL WITH WATER
ŸMake sure the iron is turned off and the AC Power Cord is unplugged from the
electrical outlet.
ŸPour out the remaining water after use.
ŸIf the water is very hard, it is advised to use distilled water or demineralised
water only. Do not use scented water, vinegar or ironing aids in the water tank,
this may cause brown spitting and staining.
ŸTurn the steam control to OFF position and temperature Control Dial to the
MIN position. Let the iron rest on the heel.
NOTE:
ŸThe water level can be observed through the transparent part of the tank, when
iron placed vertically. When the water level becomes low, refill the tank,
following the procedure described in steps 1 to 3 above.
ŸFill the water through the filling opening into the water tank，Using beaker
provided, Pour water up to the "MAX" Line on the tank.
Most tap water can be used in this iron. Do not use water additives or substitute
water such as linen or scented water in the steam iron, they can stain fabrics or
damage the iron. Do not fill the water more than the "MAX" position.
5. FUNCTIONS DESCRIPTION
Dry ironing:
ŸPosition the iron vertically. Turn the steam control to OFF position, set the
temperature control to the suitable position, plug in the iron, Preheat the iron
until the indicator light goes out, you can start dry ironing.
Spraying:
ŸThe spray may be used with steam or dry ironing.
ŸThe spray feature is particularly helpful for removing stubborn wrinkles and
where extra dampening is needed.
ŸEnsure that water tank is at least 1/4 full. Simply pump the spray button, Mist will
be sprayed out from the spraying nozzle.
ŸBefore using the spray feature, check the fabric label for ironing instructions
because some fabrics may be spotted or stained with moisture.

ŸTurn the temperature control knob to the position according to the fabric being
ironed as described in point 3 of 'Setting the temperature'
ŸPosition the iron on its rear heel then Plug iron into electrical outlet.
ŸThe indicator light will turn OFF when the indicated setting reaches the correct
temperature.
ŸTurn the steam control to the ON position, steam will be sprayed, ironing can
start.
ŸFill the iron with water as described in "How to fill with water". Turn the steam
control to Off Position.
ŸThe steam feature provides steam for removing normal wrinkles.
Steam ironing:
ŸThe Bursting steam feature provides powerful steam for removing stubborn
wrinkles
ŸTurn the temperature control knob to the position according to the fabric being
ironed as described in point 3 of 'Setting the temperature'
ŸFill the iron with water as described in "How to fill with water". Turn the steam
control to Off Position.
ŸPosition the iron on its rear heel then Plug iron into electrical outlet.
ŸAs indicated on the temperature control knob, Bursting steam ironing is only
possible at higher temperature setting indicated with 'MAX' mark, otherwise the
water will leak from the soleplate.
ŸThe indicator light will turn 'OFF' when the indicated setting reaches the correct
temperature.
ŸPress the Steam bursting button to release the bursting steam. Pressing the
button several times may be necessary to prime the surge system.
ŸNOTE: For optimum steam quality, do not apply more than three successive
'SHOT' after the indicator light goes off..
ŸWait a few seconds for the steam to penetrate the fabric before pressing the
button again for more steam.
Bursting steam ironing:
Self clean:
ŸFill the water tank to half with water and set the steam button at closed position.
IMPORTANT: Your iron will give the best ironing results and last longest if you apply
the Self Cleaning once a month.
ŸPosition the iron on its rear heel. Set the temperature at "MAX" and plug in.

NOTE! Do not use any descaling uid or vinegar.
ŸWhen the indicator light turns off, remove the plug.
ŸHold the Iron horizontally over the sink and Press the self-clean Button for about
1-2 minutes; Pitch the iron up and down slowly while self-cleaning. Check that all
water and steam thoroughly stop coming out of the sole plate vents. After self-
clean is finished empty any remaining water. Release button to stop Auto-clean
function. Repeat the procedure if necessary.
ŸTurn the steam control to the MAX position and Plug in the iron and heat for
about 2 minutes to dry out any remaining water.
ŸCool as usual and store the iron.
ŸIron on a towel to remove any drops of water remaining on the bottom of iron.
ŸEmpty the Iron immediately after using. Set the variable steam control to max.
And empty any water left in tank. Then set the variable steam control to off
position. Do not store the iron with water in it.
ŸTurn the temperature Control Dial to the MIN position and unplug the iron and
allow to cool the heating plate when carry out the maintenance.
ŸWarning: To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or
appliance in water or any other liquid.
ŸTo avoid scratching the finishing, never use a metallic pad to clean the Soleplate,
and never place the iron on a rough surface.
ŸStarch and other residue may be easily removed from the Soleplate with a
damp cloth.
ŸWhen necessary use a damp cloth to clean the cool iron, then wipe dry.
ŸAlways store the iron on its heel to protect the soleplate.
