2. Precautions before use
•Before using this device, be sure to read the instruction manual and precautions.
Keep this manual at hand for quick reference.
•This device must be installed and prepared for use by a specialist such as a certified
stage/television lighting engineer.
Installation by an unskilled person may cause various problems.
•The device must be inspected daily.
If the results of an inspection show that the device does not meet any of the standards specified in
the instruction manual, deal with the issue according to the instruction manual.
•This device generates heat. Make sure that the location where the device is installed is
well-ventilated.
Failing to do so may start a fire, cause an electric shock, or damage the device.
•Confirm that this device is not exposed to direct sunlight, high temperatures, high levels of
humidity, dust, corrosive gases, vibration, impact, etc.
Otherwise these factors may start a fire, cause an electric shock, or damage the device.
•Make sure that the device is not installed in an unstable location.
Failing to do so may start a fire, cause an electric shock, damage the device or cause it to fall over.
•Make sure that the input power is properly connected.
Failing to do so may start a fire, cause an electric shock, or damage the device.
•Do not allow cables such as power cables and DMX cables to be pulled forcibly.

•Make sure that the power cables and DMX cables are connected securely.

3. How to use the device
•The device must be handled by a specialist such as a certified stage/television light engineer.

4. Maintenance and inspection

5. Troubleshooting
•In abnormal circumstances, such as when the device is producing smoke or giving out a foul smell,
turn off the power immediately.

•After the symptoms of the malfunction subside, investigate its cause.
If you cannot readily find the cause, please contact us for repairs.
•After a natural disaster such as an earthquake, the device must be inspected by a specialist such
as a certified stage/television lighting engineer before use.
Inspection by an unqualified person may start a fire, cause an electric shock or damage the device.
6. Storage
•Do not store this device in a location exposed to direct sunlight, high temperature, high levels of
humidity, dust, corrosive gases, vibration, impact, etc.
Leaving it in such conditions so may damage the device or its insulation.
•Inspection must be carried out when the device is used after being stored for a long period of time.
Otherwise, a fire may be started, an electric shock may be caused, or the device may be damaged.

Distribution
1. Power ON Procedure
1) Press the ON (POWER) button on the CONTROL PANEL.
This action causes the following to occur.
•The ON (POWER) button on the CONTROL PANEL lights up.
•The MAIN CPU POWER LED in CPU RACK lights up.
Normal status when these are lit
•The Ethernet HUB in CPU RACK turns on.
•The LED of the panel on the LIGHTING CONTROL CONSOLE lights up indicating lighting and
preset operations are enabled.
•The PLAYBACK display turns on and the PLAYBACK screen is displayed.
•The SETTING display turns on and the STAGE screen is displayed.

LIGHTING SYSTEM OPERATION PANEL
1) Switching to the DMX board
In case the DMX board in the LIGHTING CONTROL CONSOLE or DIMMER CABINET fails, the DMX
board in the alternative system can be switched in by pressing the HCU1/HCU2 button.
(The LIGHTING CONTROL CONSOLE is operated by the DMX board in system 1.)
HCU1 button LED ON
HCU2 button LED OFF
(The LIGHTING CONTROL CONSOLE is operated by the DMX board of system 2.)
HCU1 button LED OFF
HCU2 button LED ON
2) Maintaining the lighting output level from the LIGHTING CONTROL CONSOLE
In case the LIGHTING CONTROL CONSOLE fails to respond, it can be restarted without changing the
current lighting level at that time.
To maintain the lighting level, press the LEVEL HOLD button.
Then, restart the LIGHTING CONTROL CONSOLE. After the LIGHTING CONTROL CONSOLE starts,
press the LEVEL HOLD button again the moment lighting at the same level as that being maintained is
obtained. This causes the level hold to be released and the lighting output level returns to normal
operation.
(LEVEL HOLD button LED status)
LEVEL HOLD button LED ON : The lighting output level from the LIGHTING CONTROL
CONSOLE is being maintained.
LEVEL HOLD button LED OFF : Normal operation.
•While the level is being maintained, whichever level is the higher out of that being maintained or that
from the LIGHTING CONTROL CONSOLE is given priority.
•When the level hold is released, the level being maintained fades out in 5 seconds.
3) Resetting Shut-Off DIMMER MODULE
*Press the RESET button after clearing the cause of the DIMMER MODULE shut-off.
Otherwise, the DIMMER MODULE will shut off again.
By pressing the RESET button after clearing the cause of the DIMMER MODULE shut-off, the module
will return to normal status.
(RESET button LED status)
RESET button LED ON : There are modules that have been shut-off.
RESET button LED OFF : No modules have been shut-off.
RESET button LED FLASH : The reset process is in progress.
