3.2. General safety instructions
• Inspect before every use. Examine the support stands for cracks or damage before
each use. Do not use if even a minor crack, bend or other damage/deformation is
found. Discard the support stands if damaged or deformed.
• The person responsible for the use of the product must make sure that all of the
safety rules in force in the country of its use are applied, to guarantee that the
equipment is used in conformity with the use for which it is destined and to avoid
any dangerous situation for the user.
• Do not operate the product unless you are of age.
• TVH Parts Holding NV cannot anticipate each possible circumstance that may
result in danger. Therefore the warnings given in this publication and which appear
on the equipment are not exhaustive.
In the event that equipment, procedures, work methods or working techniques are
used that are not specifically advised by the TVH Parts Holding NV company, it is
necessary to make sure that there is no danger to the operator or other people.
• Study, understand and follow all instructions before operating this equipment.
• Do not exceed the rated capacity, be aware of dynamic loading.
• Use only on hard, level surfaces.
• Centre the load on the saddle.
• Use a matched pair only.
• Ensure that the support stands are in correct position in relation to the vehicle.
• This means that the support stands should be placed as far apart as possible to
maximise their load capacity.
• In the event of unsafe use, limbs or persons can get stuck between the vehicle and
the support stands
• No alterations shall be made to this product.
• Use wheel chocks or other blocking devices on opposing wheels before using the
support stands.
• Do not move the vehicle while on a the support stands.
• Bystanders who are not working on the vehicle must keep a minimum distance of
0.5m from the vehicle.

11/20
4. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
4.1. Transport
If you want to move the support stands, pick up the stand at its base.
Do not pick up the support stand at its saddle or post. This allows the saddle to slide
out of the base, causing the support stands to fall, possibly causing damage to the
stand.
In case you want to transport the support stands by car or truck, make sure they are
fastened by means of a lashing strap or other.
If you do not fasten the support stands, damage can be caused to the support stands.
4.2. Storage
Store the vehicle support stands level, in a clean environment, preferably indoors and in a
dry area to protect the stands from moisture.
If the equipment is stored outdoors, be sure to lubricate all parts before and after use to
ensure the equipment stays in good working condition.
Avoid direct sunlight.
If you store the equipment in another environment, please note that the internal
workings of the support stands can be affected by a high level of moisture, gravel or
sand, salt, grit or other dust-laden air. The support stands should have their inner
components frequently cleaned, inspected and lubricated.

6. OPERATION
6.1. Safety instructions for operating the product
• Keep the work area well illuminated.
• Make sure that the support stands make a firm contact with the ground.
• When the support stands are in use make sure that no persons are in the vicinity of
the support stands or lie down underneath the vehicle to prevent serious injuries.
• A damaged or malfunctioning product must never be used. If damage or
malfunctions are discovered during pre-operation inspection or function tests,
theproduct must be tagged and removed from service.
• Use the support stands only on hard level surfaces. Uneven or sloped surfaces
create dangerous working conditions and dangerously obstruct the function of the
safety trestle.
• Only when the person who has safely placed the support stands gives the sign that
the installation has been completed, work on the vehicle can commence.
• When the support stands are in proper position, set the vehicle’s parking brake or
emergency brake.
• Do not support human load.
• Do not support animal load.
• Use wheel chocks on all unlifted wheels to make sure the vehicle is stable.
• Turn the vehicle ignition off.
• Always use the support stands in pairs.
• Position the support stands as far apart as possible so maximise their carrying
capacity.
• Bystanders who are not working on the vehicle must keep a minimum distance of
0.5m from the vehicle.
6.2. Operating instructions
Carry out the daily maintenance check listed in chapter7.
1. Lifting
1. Apply the emergency brake.
2. Use wheel chocks on all unlifted wheels to make sure the
vehicle is stable.

14/20
3. Lift the vehicle with the appropriate jack.
4. Once at the correct height, carefully position the support
stands under the vehicle in the designated places. Place the
support stands on each side of the jack.
The support stands should be spaced as far apart as
possible!
If you place the support stands too close together,
thevehicle has a greater chance of falling over.
5. Make sure that the load is centred on the stand’s saddle.
6. Raise the saddle to the desired height. The saddle will click
automatically when you lift the post. Make sure the saddle is
placed as close to the vehicle as possible.
7. Slowly lower the vehicle on the support stands.

15/20
2. Lowering
1. Carefully raise the vehicle.
2. Remove the support stands by their base. Pull the handle so
the saddle lowers.
3. Slowly lower the vehicle completely.
4. Remove the wheel chocks.

16/20
7. MAINTENANCE
7.1. Safety instructions for the repair of the product
Some of the maintenance operations should only be carried out by professional
technicians.
If you require this information and the maintenance steps, please contact your
dealer.
• Do not attempt to repair the product unless you are trained and authorised to
doso.
• Repairs to the product may only be made by a qualified service technician and
according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
• Bystanders who are not working on the vehicle must keep a minimum distance of
0.5m from the vehicle.
7.2. Maintenance schedule
Task 2H D W M 6M Y
1. Inspect for damage or cracks
2. Cleaning
3. Lubrication
2H: every 2hours, D: daily, W: weekly, M: monthly, 6M: every 6months, Y: yearly
7.3. Maintenance instructions
1. Inspect for damage or cracks
A daily check of the support stands can limit wear to a minimum:
• Ensure that the instruction manual is complete, legible and available for reference.
• Ensure that all decals are legible and in place.
• Check entire machine for: damage, corrosion or cracks in structural components.
This maintenance may be carried out by the operator.
2. Cleaning
• Clean as needed and wipe with an oily cloth.
• When you use a high-pressure cleaner, do not direct the jet onto the bearings and seals,
otherwise the grease will be washed out and the lifespan of the stands will be shortened.
• Never use sandpaper or abrasive material on these surfaces!
This maintenance may be carried out by the operator.

17/20
3. Lubrication
A periodic coating of lubricating oil at pivot points will help to prevent rust and assure that
the saddle assemblies move freely.
This maintenance may be carried out by the operator.
Where to lubricate
Please see pictures below for the pivot points that need a periodic coating of lubrication.
Use a non-abrasive grease to lubricate the mechanical parts. For example REF107TA8448 is
the best choice because it is water-repellent and resistant to weather influences.
