INFORMATION
GENERAL: The PP1-RX2 mullion style rea er is suitable for surface mounting to most plain
wall finishes. It is quick an easy to install an is esigne for the most eman ing access
control applications. Capable of rea ing stan ar Clock/Data, Weigan an Mifare. Having
a slim an innovative clean aesthetic, the rea er features an RGB LED with which allows
each oor to be set with a colour co e access level an to offer illumination for environ-
mental moo lighting or in ee to compliment corporate colours.
CONNECTION: It is recommen e that Bel en 9536 cable or equivalent is use between
the rea er an terminal/ oor controller. Always follow the manufacturers recommen a-
tions when connecting to other equipment. IF CABLING IS ROUTED OUTDOORS, UNDER-
GROUND OR IN DUCTING PRONE TO WETNESS, THE APPROPRIATE CABLE MUST BE
USED.
MOUNTING: The PP1-RX2 is esigne to be mounte flush
to the wall surface. Use the rea er mounting bracket to
mark out the position of the fixing screws, rill holes suita-
ble for the wall material. When rilling brick material a
6mm rill bit shoul be use . If mounting on sheet material,
glass, metal etc... The mounting arrangements will nee to
be mo ifie to suit. Drill a hole roughly mi -way between
the two mounting holes for the connection cable.
MEDIA: The PP1-RX2 has a rea range of up to 15cm. NOTE:
Rea ing range can be affecte by local installation con i-
tions.
