1. Remove the parts from the packaging.
2. Place the oven on a flat, dry surface.
3. Remove any promotional labels or stickers.
4. Plug in and heat the oven empty for around 10 minutes at 230°C with the
upper and lower heating elements on.
5. Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.
6. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
Note: There may be some smoke and a slight burning smell emitted during first
use. This is normal and just a product of any leftover manufacturing residue. This
is not a malfunction and will stop after the first few uses.
1. Insert the wire rack or baking tray into the oven, onto the required shelf.
2. If using the rotisserie fork make sure it is fitted with your product securely
axed.
3. Plug the oven in and preheat as required by your recipe.
4. Set your Mode and adjust the time/temperature if required
5. Using oven gloves, place the food to be cooked into the oven.
6. Once the time is up, the timer will ding, reminding you to remove your food
from the oven.
Note: Some food may require turning halfway through cooking time. Always
follow the instructions on the food packaging.
The Function Keys:
Audible notification.
When the oven is plugged into the mains and powered on a beep will sound
Press any button for 3-5 seconds and the beep will sound again to show the oven is
operational.
In the event of an error occurring the oven will issue a sound every second. Turn the
unit off at the mains and then restart.
MODE Button.
While the oven is in Standby Mode or is Ready, press the MODE button to cycle
through the pre-set cooking settings. This button will not function if the oven is
already operating.
START/STOP Button.
Pressing this button will start or stop the current operation. When the oven is in
Standby Mode this button will not function.

°C/°F Button.
When in Standby Mode give this button a short press to switch the temperature from
°C to °F. The temperature can only be switched while the oven is in standby mode.
Temperature Dial.
Rotate the dial to increase or decrease the temperature as displayed on the panel.
Turn clockwise to increase, and counter clockwise to decrease the temperature in
increments of one degree.
Timer Dial.
Rotate the dial to increase or decrease the cooking time as displayed on the panel.
Turn clockwise to increase, and counter clockwise to decrease the temperature in
increments one minute.
Display and Settings.
After the oven has been turned on or re-set (turned off and back on at the mains) the
digital panel will display a time of 00:00 and temperature of 0°C. The timer will flash for
30 seconds. If no selections are made within 30 seconds the panel lights will turn off
and the oven will revert to standby mode.
Pressing the Mode button will cycle through each pre-set option. Each setting (1-9) will
present a set time and temperature. These initial settings can be adjusted by turning
the relevant dial, time or temperature, to the desired setting as indicated below.
The displayed time is in hours and minutes. After entering the Mode, and the minutes
and seconds begin to countdown, the is time/temp are no longer adjustable
Note: In Mode 3 (TOAST) and Mode 9 (Keep Warm) the temperature is not adjustable
for these settings.
Toast.
The Toast Mode has six settings. These are selected by turning the temperature dial.
The default setting is ‘3’ and each increment or decrease will adjust the toasting time
by 30 seconds.

End of Cooking Program.
Once the cooking program has reached its time setting a series of beeps will sound to
alert that the unit will go into standby mode after 30 seconds.
Protection.
The oven has a built in circuit-protection cut out feature. If the temperature sensor fails
the oven will cut out after two minutes of any error being reported on the display.
Accessories:
The baking tray and rack can be slotted into any of the slats inside the oven,
depending on the food you want to cook. For example, if you are cooking a roast
chicken, you would place
the tray on the lowest slots of Mini Oven.
If you are cooking a dish and would like the top part browned and cooked the most,
you would place the tray on either the top or second slot.

6 - Troubleshooting
DISPOSAL OF THE UNIT
Appliances bearing the symbol shown here may not be disposed of in domestic
rubbish. You are required to dispose of old electrical and electronic appliances like
this separately.

The WEEE directive, introduced in August 2006, states that all electrical items must
be recycled, rather than taken to landfill.
Please arrange to take this appliance to your local Civic Amenity site
for recycling, once it has reached the end of its life.
7 - Recycling
Questions Answers
Error warning is
sounding (beeping
each second). Switch off the oven at the mains and restart.
Food is cooking
too slowly,
too quickly, or
burning.
The oven temperature may be too low or high. If food is
cooking too quickly, try lowering the shelf. If food is cooking
too slowly, move the shelf up.
Steam is coming
from the oven.
This is a normal occurrence when cooking foods with high
water content. Take care when opening the oven as steam
may escape when you open the door.
The oven is not
cooking evenly.
Check you are using the correct temperature for the recipe
as the temperature may be too high.
The food/dish may not be placed centrally on the tray.
There is a smell
of burning in the
oven.
There may be a build-up of grease in the oven or on the wire
rack. Always wipe down the oven inside after use, once it has
cooled completely. Always wash the wire rack after each use
to remove any grease build-up.

• It is important that you clean the appliance after each use to prevent an
accumulation of grease and avoid unpleasant odours.
• Excess grime may also increase the cooking times.
• Allow the appliance to cool and unplug from outlet before cleaning.
• Do not use steel wool scouring pads, abrasive cleaners or scrape the inner walls
with a metal utensil. All of these methods may damage the continuous clean
coating.
Inner:
Wipe the inside of the Mini Oven with a hot, damp sponge cloth. Dry before next use.
A mild spray or oven cleaner can be used. Apply to the sponge, not the oven.
Outer:
Clean outside of appliance with a damp sponge and dry with a clean towel.
Door:
Wipe the glass with a hot damp sponge. Clean the glass with a glass cleaner spray if
desired. Dry with a clean towel.
Accessories:
The wire rack, baking tray, Rotisserie fork and tray handle can all be washed as normal
kitchenware.
Let all parts and surfaces dry thoroughly prior to plugging oven in and using.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use the appliance if damp. Ensure the appliance is completely clean and dry
before storing.
To store your appliance:
• Unplug power cord from the power outlet and clean as instructed.
• Store on a flat, dry level surface out of reach of children.

As the colours in the
mains lead of this
appliance may not
correspond with the
coloured markings
identifying the
terminals in your plug,
please proceed as
follows:
The wires in the mains lead are coloured
in accordance with the following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown live
[L] Green/Yellow [EARTH]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral
and must be connected to the terminal
marked [N] or coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live wire
and must be connected to the terminal
marked [L] or coloured red.
The wire coloured green/yellow must be
connected to the terminal marked with
the letter [E] or marked .
On no account must either the brown
or the blue wire be connected to the
[EARTH] terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is
fastened correctly.
The plug must be fitted with a fuse
of the same rating already fitted and
conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA
approved.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician
who will be pleased to do this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-
rewireable plug fitted to the mains lead
and should the fuse need replacing,
you must use an ASTA approved one
(conforming to BS 1362 of the same
rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualified
electrician who will be pleased to do
this for you.
If you need to remove the plug -
disconnect it from the mains - then cut
it off of the mains lead and immediately
dispose of it in a safe manner. Never
attempt to reuse the plug or insert it
into a socket outlet as there is a danger
of an electric shock.
