Construction
Please start to build-up the turntable at its inal place because o di icult
transport a ter construction. To avoid ingerprints on perspex and polished
parts, please put on the enclosed cotton gloves.
1. Place the chassis care ully on to the turntable-desk. Li t the chassis
on one side and lay on spike-mat under the spike. Do the same with the
other spikes.
2. Pull-o the upper part o the mainbearing and ill-in the whole injection
containing mainbearing-oil into the oil-reservoire (see attachment). Set the
upper part o the mainbearing care ully back on top again.
3. Lead the balance-weight into the provided opening o the tonearmbase.
4. Set the motor on to the motor-stand and place it on the backside o the
turntable. Up to three motors can be used.
5. Now ix the belt around the inner-platter and the motor-pully. The inner-
platter has got three grooves, however, the motor-pully has got our:
upper groove (small diameter) = 33 1/3 U/min
lower groove (big diameter) = 45 U/min
Change of speed:
When using three motors please note that the belt is ixed around all
three motors.
6. Place the acrylate-platter care ully on to the mainbearing.
7. By turning the spike- eet, the height o the turntable is adjustable. First o
all make sure that the belt runs correctly (the grooves o the platter and the
motor-pully should be on the same level). Therea ter control the hori-
zontal stand o the turntable by laying a water level on the platter. Check
the belt-run a terwards once more.
8. Put the plug o the motor-cable into the power-supply-unit. Connect the
power-supply-unit with the circuit. Basically, the power-supply-unit can re-
main plugged-in, as the power consumption with switched-o motor is
quite insigni icent. Disconnect the power-supply-unit only in case o longer
no-usage.
