
Before first use, remove the try-me tag from
the battery compartment and dispose of safely.
Switch the button of the unit to Vol- or Vol+.
How to change batteries
1. This product requires 3 x AAA (LR03) 1.5V batteries.
2. The batteries supplied with the product are for store demonstration purposes
only and we recommend that they are replaced after purchase.
3. Use a suitable screwdriver to remove the battery cover located on the rear
of the unit.
4. Remove the old batteries. Insert 3 x AAA batteries, ensuring the + and -
terminals match the markings on the inside of the compartment.
5. Fit the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw to secure
(but do not over-tighten).
Important battery information
Batteries must be inserted or removed by an adult.
Do not mix battery types (for example, alkaline and zinc carbon),
or old and new batteries.
Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries, as they
may leak or explode.
Batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity.
Do not short circuit the supply terminals.
Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
Rechargeable batteries must be charged by an adult.
Use only the recommended battery type or their equivalent.
Do not dispose of batteries in fire, as they may leak or explode.
Remove batteries from the toy if it is not being
used for an extended period of time.
The purpose of the crossed-out wheelie
bin symbol is to remind us that most
electrical product and batteries contain
trace elements which could be harmful to
our environment and therefore our health.
We must all be careful to dispose of them responsibly
in a specifically designated way – either using a
collection scheme or into the correctly labelled civic
amenity (NOT into general waste) – this will help your
local authority to arrange to recycle or dispose of them
in the appropriate manner.
As you turn the rim, the microphone will
play the instrument sounds corresponding
to each character
MICROPHONE: Press and hold down
the microphone button to amplify
your voice. Use in MUSIC or SONG
modes to sing along.
OFF/Vol-/Vol+
Move to Vol- for low sound level and
to Vol+ for higher sound level.
Press on TRUE
or FALSE key

and the unit
will play funny
sounds.
MUSIC MODE:
Press on the MUSIC key, and Peppa will ask
if you want to sing a song. In order to
select a song, turn the rim and stop a
character in front of the arrow. Each
character is linked to one of 7 songs: Bing
bong, Birdy woof woof, Big balloon, Train
song, The rainbow, and the wheels on the
bus. Press Peppa while a song is being played,
and it will stop the song and repeat it from
the beginning. Press on the TRUE or FALSE
key, and the unit will play funny sounds.
QUIZ MODE:
In this game, Peppa helps you recognise
colours, phonics, instruments and characters.
When pressing the quiz key (on the side of
the microphone), Peppa will ask you a
question. To answer, the child should use the
true or false keys or turn the rim. Press the
quiz key to repeat the question.
SONG MODE:
You have to press Peppa to start SONG
mode. Peppa will ask you if you want to sing
with her. Peppa will tell you to turn the
rim to choose a song. In this mode, you can
sing along with Peppa or listen to Peppa
singing. Each character is linked to one of 7
songs: Bing bong, Birdy woof woof, Big
balloon, Train song, The rainbow, and the
wheels on the bus. Press Peppa while a song
is being played, and it will stop the song and
repeat it from the beginning. Press on the
TRUE or FALSE key, and the unit will play
funny sounds.
