General Battery Pack / Charger Safety Warnings
•This charger can be used by children aged
from8years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
•Never insert non-rechargeable batteries into the
charger. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery
pack may create a risk of fire and explosion, when used
with another battery pack or non-rechargeable batteries.
• Only charge the Li-Ion battery "Multiflex20– 2.0DC"
(capacity of 2.0 Ah= 5 battery cells) with the charger
"Multiflex 20– 2.0 AC". The battery voltage must match
the battery charging voltage of the charger.
•Use products only with the specifically designated
battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create
a risk of injury and fire.
•When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from
other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails,
screws or other small metal objects, that can make a
connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the
battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
•Recharge only with the charger specified by the
manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of
battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with
another battery pack.
•Do not charge other battery packs. The charger is only
suitable for use with the supplied battery pack and with
the voltages specified in the technical data. Otherwise,
there is a risk of fire and explosion.
•Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from
the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs,
flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek
medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
•In case of damage and improper use of the battery,
vapours may be emitted. Provide for fresh air and seek
medical help in case of complaints. The vapours can
irritate the respiratory system.
•Do not open the battery. There is danger of a short
circuit.
•Do not short-circuit the battery. There is danger of
explosion.
•Batteries must not be exposed to mechanical impacts.
•Protect electrical parts against moisture. To prevent an
electric shock, never immerse them in water or other
liquids during cleaning or operation. Never hold the
charger under running water. Please observe the
instructions for cleaning and maintenance.
•The charger is only suited for indoor use.
•Keep the charger clean. Contamination entails a risk of
electric shock.
•Do not operate the charger on highly combustible
ground (e.g. paper, textiles etc.) or in an inflammable
environment. The heat generated by the charger during
charging entails a risk of fire.
•Only use the charger for charging the battery. The
charger must not be used as power supply for the power
tool.

Suction of water from containers
Info
The device is provided with an integrated water suction
function. This function is only permissible using the
suction hose(14) and filter(13).
Warning
Do not suck in any water from natural sources.
Contamination by backflowing detergents may occur.
Note
Dry running causes damage to the device.
1. Connect the quick coupling(20) of the hose(14) to the
hose connection(4) on the device.
2. Plunge the end with the filter(13) into the water source
(e.g a rain barrel). Make sure that a sufficient amount of
water is available.
3. The hose(14) comes equipped with a float(12). It always
holds the filter(13) slightly beneath the water surface,
almost completely preventing dirty water from being
sucked in.
4. It is important that there is no air in the hose(14). Plunge
the hose(14) with the filter(13) completely into the water
source (e.g. a rain barrel) to vent the former.

Connection with garden hose to water inlet (optional)
According to valid regulations, the high-pressure cleaner must
not be connected to the drinking water network without a
system separator. Use a suitable system separator in
compliance with EN 12729 type BA.
If the water used flows through a system separator, it is no
longer drinkable. You can purchase a system separator in the
specialist trade.
A system separator prevents water and detergent from flowing
back into the drinking water pipeline.
• Use a commercially available garden hose for the water
inlet and make sure it is long enough.
• Use the device on a domestic water connection with a
maximum pressure of 5bar.
1. Remove the quick coupling(20) from the water hose.
2. Connect the garden hose to the water supply.
3. To vent the garden hose, open the tap and let the water
flow until it comes out at the other end without producing
any bubbles.
4. Stop the water flow.
5. Connect the quick coupling(20) to the garden hose again.
6. Connect the garden hose(14) to the hose connection(4) on
the device.
4
Info
If you have connected a different quick coupling with
water stop function to your water supply, remove the
quick coupling before venting. Vent without the quick
coupling and reconnect it again afterwards.
Installing the multi-function nozzle/spray attachment
1. Insert the spray lance(11) with the multi-function
nozzle(10) into the device first and turn it until it reaches
the lock (bayonet catch). The spray attachment with the
detergent container(5) is installed in the same way.
10
