The Beekeeper is a handbuilt guitar preamp in a pedal,
featuring two vacuum tubes running at high voltage. Its
design is based on the famous ODS circuit, usually
associated with the signature sound of many legendary
guitar players.
As a result, the Beekeeper is having a sparkling clean
tone, which is gradually pushed into the smooth, rich
and touch-sensitive overdrive as you crank up the gain.

The Beekeeper is a handbuilt guitar preamp in a pedal,
featuring two vacuum tubes running at high voltage. Its
design is based on the famous ODS circuit, usually
associated with the signature sound of many legendary
guitar players.
As a result, the Beekeeper is having a sparkling clean
tone, which is gradually pushed into the smooth, rich
and touch-sensitive overdrive as you crank up the gain.
CONNECTIVITY
There are several ways to integrate the Beekeeper into the
signal chain:
in-line with the other effect pedals.
Place the Beekeeper after all the distortion and gain-altering
effects and before the modulation and reverb effects.
into the regular input of an amp.
directly into a power amp or FX-return input.
Since the levels and impedances of the FX-returns are different
from one amp to another, the sound results may vary.
into the mixing console or recording interface.
We suggest to connect the Beekeeper via a hardware or
software IR/cabsim modeler.
To prevent malfunction and equipment failure, always turn
down the volume before making any connections.
The Beekeeper is coming with a pair of non-matched JJ ECC83s
vacuum tubes. V1 tube is responsible for amplifying the Clean
channel, and V2 - for the OD channel. To explore additional
tonal possibilities, the stock tubes can be swapped with equiva-
lent preamp tubes from the other brands.
Powering up from a cold state, please allow the Beekeeper to
warm-up for a few minutes before playing, to extend the life of
the tubes.

The topology of the Beekeeper consists of the two cascading
channels, “stacked” on top of each other. So the “CLN”
channel is also a part of the “OD” channel, and the amount of
the overdrive can be managed not only using the OD control
but also through effective use of the CLN_VOL control.
The EQ and the toggle switches are located within the Clean
channel, right after the first gain stage, so they are affecting
both Clean and OD channels at the same time.

All Tubesteader pedals are warrantied to be free from defects
in parts and craftsmanship for a period of 5 years from the
original date of purchase.
The external hardware, such as pots, switches and jacks are
warrantied to be free from defects for a period of 1 year from
the original date of purchase.
The vacuum tubes are covered for a period of 30 days from
receipt of the pedal.
EXCLUSIONS:
- Damage caused by accident, abuse, modification, improper use.
- Cosmetic wear and tear of the enclosure and external hardware.
- Shipping costs.
Tubesteader reserves the right to make changes and
improvements in designs & dimensions without notice.
The Tubesteader will repair or replace, at our discretion,
the product under the warranty at no cost to the original
owner. For any warranty or repair inquiries, please contact

Returns are accepted within 7 days from the date of receiving
your order. To qualify for return the product has to be in “new”
condition, in the original packaging and perfect working order.

Le Beekeeper est un préamplificateur pour guitare assemble
à la main dans un format d’une pédale, pourvu des deux
lampes à haute tension. Ce design est basé sur le fameux

BRANCHEMENTS
Il y a plusieurs façons d'intégrer le Beekeeper dans une chaîne
sonore:
En ligne avec les autres effets du pedalboard.
Nous recommandons de mettre le Beekeeper après les effets
d’amplification et avant les effets de modulation ou réverb.
Dans l’entrée régulière de l’amplificateur.
Directement dans l’ampli de puissance ou dans FX-Retour.
Comme les Retours de boucle d'effet sont différents d’un ampli
à un autre, le sons produit peut varier.
Sur une console ou à votre carte-son.
On suggère de brancher le Beekeeper via un simulateur
d'enceintes matériel ou logiciel.
Afin d’empêcher une défaillance, voyez toujours baisser le
volume avant d’effectuer une connection quelconque.
Le Beekeeper vient avec un pair de lampes non appariées
JJ ECC83. V1 lampe est responsable d’amplifier le canal clair,
quand la lampe V2 s’occupe de l’ampli du canal d’OD. Afin
d’explorer des possibilités tonales additionnelles, les lampes
originales peuvent être remplacés avec des lampes équivalentes
des autres marques. En démarrant le Beekeeper, laisser les
lampes se réchauffer quelques minutes avant l’utilisation, cela
aidera à prolonger la vie de ces dernières.

La topologie du Beekeeper consiste d’une succession de
canaux superposés. Alors, le canal CLN fait partie du canal OD
,et donc le degré de l'overdrive peut être géré non seulement
en utilisant la commande OD, mais aussi par l'utilisation
efficace du contrôle CLN_VOL.
Le EQ et les interrupteurs à levier sont situé dans le canal clair
juste après premier étage de gain, donc les deux canaux OD et
Clair sont affecté tout le temps.

Toutes les pédales Tubesteader sont sous garantie pour les
défauts de manufacture et les défauts d’assemblage d’une
durée de 5 ans à partir de la date originale de l’achat.
Les pieces extérieur: les potentiomètres, les interrupteurs ,et les
prises sont sous garantie pour les défauts de fonctionnement
pour une période de 1 ans à partir de la date originale de
l’achat. Les lampes sont couvertes d’une garantie d’une période
de 30 jours depuis l’arrivé de la pédale chez le client.
EXCLUSIONS:
- Dommage cause par accident, abus, modification, usage impropre.
- Dommages cosmétiques au boîtier ou aux pièces extérieures
- Les frais d’expédition.
Tubesteader se réserve le droit de change et d'améliorations
dans le design et les dimensions du produit sans préavis.
Tubesteader s’engage à réparer ou remplacer, à notre propre
discrétion, le produit sous garantie sans frais seulement qu’à
son acheteur initial. Pour toute questions de garantie ou de

Les retours sont acceptés dans les 7 jours suivant la réception
de la commande. Pour pouvoir effectuer le retour, le produit
doit être dans une condition intacte, dans son emballage initial,
et fonctionner parfaitement.
