Safety Notes:
Warning! Read these instructions carefully. Be familiar with controls and proper use of the machine.
Please keep the instructions safe for later use! Always remove the isolator key when not in use. Failure to
do so could damage the battery.

Operation:
● Never allow children or people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the machine. Local regulations may
restrict the age of the operator. Store the machine out of the reach of children when not in use.
● This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or

instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
● Never mow while people, especially children or pets, are nearby.
● The operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their property.
● Do not operate the machine when barefoot or wearing open sandals, always wear substantial footwear and
long trousers.
● Thoroughly inspect the area where the machine is to be used and remove all stones, sticks, wires, bones and
other foreign objects.
● Before using, always visually inspect to see that the blades, blade bolts and cutter assembly are not worn or
damaged. Replace worn or damaged blades and bolts in sets to preserve balance.
● Good performance in the sun or artificial light.
● Avoid operating the machine in wet grass, where feasible.
● Never operate the appliance with defective guards or shields, or without safety devices, for example
deflectors and/or grass catchers in place
● Working on banks can be dangerous.
– Do not mow excessively steep slopes.
– Always be sure of your footing on slopes or wet grass.
– Mow across the face of slopes
– Never up and down.
– Exercise extreme caution when changing direction on slopes.
● Be cautious when stepping back or pulling the machine towards you.
● Never mow by pulling the mower towards you.
● Stop the blades if the machine has to be tilted for transportation when crossing surfaces other than grass and
when transporting the machine to and from the area to be mowed.
● Do not tilt the machine unless absolutely necessary when starting or switching on the motor, except if the
machine has to be tilted for starting in long grass. In this case, do not tilt if more than absolutely necessary
and tilt only the part which is away from the operator. Always ensure that both hands are in the operating
position before returning the machine to the ground.
● Switch on the motor according to the instructions with feet well away from rotating parts.
● Do not put hands or feet near or under rotating parts.
● Always stand clear of the discharge zone when operating the machine.
● Never pick up or carry the machine while the motor is running.
Remove the isolator (safety) key:
– Whenever you leave the machine.
– Before clearing a blockage.
– Before checking, cleaning or working on the machine.
– After striking a foreign object. Inspect the machine for damage and make repairs if necessary.
– If the machine starts to vibrate abnormally (check immediately).
Maintenance:
● Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure that the machine is in safe working condition.
● Check the grass catcher frequently for wear or deterioration.
● Examine the machine and replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
● Ensure replacement cutting means of the right type are used.
● Always wear gardening gloves when handling or working near the sharp blades.
Recommendations for Optimal Handling of the Battery:
● Ensure the switch is in the off position before inserting the battery pack. Inserting the battery pack into
the machine that has the switch on could cause a serious accident.

● Keep the battery charger away from rain or moisture. Penetration of water in the battery charger
increases the risk of an electric shock.
● Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of
battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
● Do not charge other batteries. The battery charger is suitable only for charging lithium ion batteries within
the listed voltage range. Otherwise there is danger of fire and explosion.
● Keep the battery charger clean. Contamination can lead to danger of an electric shock.
● Before each use, check the battery charger, cable and plug. If damage is detected, do not use the
battery charger. Never open the battery charger yourself. Have repairs performed only by a qualified
technician and only using original spare parts. Damaged battery chargers, cables and plugs increase the
risk of an electric shock.
● Do not operate the battery charger on easily inflammable surfaces (e.g., paper, textiles, etc.) or
surroundings. The heating of the battery charger during the charging process can pose a fire hazard.
● Use only battery packs intended specifically for the machine. Use of any other battery packs may create
a risk of injury and fire.
● When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like paper clips, coins, keys,
nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another.
Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
● Do not open the battery. Danger of short-circuiting.
● Protect the battery against heat, e.g., also against continuous sun irradiation and fire. There is danger
of explosion.
● Do not short-circuit the battery. There is a danger of explosion.
● In case of damage and improper use of the battery, vapors’ may be emitted. Always try and provide for
fresh air when operating the machine.
● Protect the battery against moisture and water.
● Store the battery only within a temperature range between 32 Degrees and 100 Degrees (F range). For
instance, do not leave the battery in the car in summer.
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may
result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.

Assembly:
For Your Safety:
● Warning! Switch off, remove the isolator key and the battery before adjusting, cleaning or if cable is cut,
damaged or entangled.
● The blade continues to rotate for a few seconds after the machine is switched off.
● Caution –do not touch the rotating blade.
Handle assembly A:
1. Align with the bottom of the handle and the top of the handle as shown in the photo;
2. 2. Screws should be placed from outside to inside;
3. Tighten nuts to secure placement.
Note: Ensure that the cable clips supplied are used to fix the cable to the handle.
Snap together the grass box B:
Place the grass box top with the grass collector-base by engaging the tabs along the edge together. Start in the
rear and work your way forward.

Grass box fitting/removing C:
Lift the deflector guard 6 and hold up, fit or remove the grass box 5.
For non grass collection the mower can be used without the grass box 5 in position, with the deflector guard 6
in the down position.
Starting D:
● The blade continues to rotate for a few seconds after the machine is switched off. Allow the
motor/blade to stop rotating before switching “on” again.
● Do not rapidly switch off and on.
Note: To aid starting push handle down to lift front wheels.
Fit the isolator key 12.
1. Press and hold the safety button 2.
2. Squeeze the switch lever 1 towards the handle.
3. Release the safety button 2.
Note: There is a short delay in the motor starting after engaging the switch lever 1.
Stopping:
Release the switch lever 1
If the mower is not going to be used immediately, please fit isolator key 12 in the storage position. If the isolator
key is left in the machine without operating for a long period of time, this could cause damage to the battery.
The machine is fitted with a blade brake. This safety feature stops the blade from rotating in a few seconds.
Inserting the Battery E:
1 . Lift the battery cover latch and lift up battery cover 11.
2. Fit battery 9, when correctly fitted a “click” will be heard.

3 . Fit the isolator key as shown and ensure correct location.
4. If the mower is not going to be used immediately, fit the isolator key 12 in the storage position.
5. Close battery cover 11.
Removing the Battery:
Lift the battery cover latch and lift up battery cover 11.
Remove isolator key 12, refit in storage position. Lift the battery cover latch.
Remove the battery 9.
Indication of the Element Lights:
Charging Procedure F:
The charging procedure starts as soon as the adapter of the battery pack charger is plugged into the socket outlet,
and the charger output plug 19 is inserted into the battery pack 9. Due to the intelligent charging method, the
charging condition of the battery pack is automatically detected and the battery pack is charged with the
optimum charging current, depending on battery pack temperature and voltage. This gives longer life to the
battery pack and always leaves it fully charged when kept in the charger for storage.

If the battery pack is not installed (no load condition): LED indicator 18 is lit green.
Charging Procedure:
When charging the battery pack 9 the LED indicator 18 displays red and the battery pack charging indicator 17
displays three green LED light on and off (blinking).
Battery Pack Charging:
Fully charged, the LED 18 displays green (no blinking). Now the battery pack can be removed for immediate
use.
Note: The charging procedure is only possible when the battery pack temperature is within the allowable
charging temperature range.
Checking the Battery Pack Charge:
Remove the battery pack 9. Press the button 16 to actuate the battery pack indicator 17. After 3 seconds, the
battery pack indicator 17 goes out automatically.

Area of Cutting (Battery pack Duration):
The area of cutting (battery pack duration) depends on lawn conditions, grass density, moisture content, grass
length and height of cut. Switching the machine on and off frequently during cutting will also reduce the area of
cut (battery pack duration).To improve the area of cut (battery pack duration) it is recommended to cut more
frequently, raise the cutting height and walk at a normal pace.
Charging Recommendations:
With continuous or several repetitive charging cycles without interruption, the charger will warm up to the
touch. This is not meaningful and does not indicate a technical defect of the battery pack charger.
A significantly reduced working period after charging indicates that the battery pack is used and must be
replaced.
Assembly:
● Do not connect the battery and/or the isolator key before product is completely assembled.
● Ensure the cables are not trapped when folding/ unfolding top/bottom handles. Do not drop the
handle.
Adjusting the Cutting Height G:
● Stop, release switch lever and wait until the motor stops before adjusting the height. The blades
continue to rotate after the machine is switched off, a rotating blade can cause injury.
● Caution – do not touch the rotating blade. For the first cutting of the season, a high cutting adjustment
should be selected.
The lawnmower can be set to 5 cutting heights between 1’’ and 3 1/2’’. Press the height of cut lever 10 inwards
then lift or push down the mower until required height is selected.

● Using the height of cut between 3/4’’-1’’ will shorten the battery duration.
Blade Maintenance H:
● Warning! Switch the machine off, remove the isolator key and the battery, and remove the grass box
before adjusting or cleaning the machine.
● Always wear gardening gloves when handling or working near the sharp blades.
· Turn the machine on its right side and inspect the blade; if blunt or damaged, replace immediately.
Use the following procedure to remove and re-place the blade:
· Hold the blade 20 using gardening gloves (not provided) and use a screwdriver (not provided) to remove the
blade bolt 22, blade connector 21 and blade 20.
· Fit the blade 20, blade washer 22 and the blade bolt 23. Ensure that the blade is the correct direction facing
upward and then tighten the bolt 23 firmly. Ensure the screwdriver is removed before attempting to turn the
machine on.
● Do not lubricate blade or blade bolt during refitting.
Hand position adjustment I:
Follow step one to set the knob to set the desired tightness in order to adjust the handle. Set the handle to the
appropriate height, then follow step 2 and tighten the knob completely.
Cutting the Grass/Safety Switch J:
This product is equipped with a protective overload when mowing that
protects the motor. A safety switch will activate when the blade is jammed,
clogged or the motor is overheated. Immediately turn off the machine
when this happens.
The safety switch will only reset when you release the handle.
Remove all obstacles, and wait one minute, then restart your machine. The
safety switch will automatically reset.
Always check your mowing path prior to starting the machine and clear
any debris.

The following chart lists problem symptoms, possible causes and corrective action, if your machine does not
operate properly. If these do not identify and correct the problem, contact your service agent.

After Usage/Storage:
Always remove the isolator key after use. Clean the exterior of the machine thoroughly using a soft brush and
cloth. Do not use water, solvents or polishes. Remove all grass and debris, especially from the ventilation slots.
Turn the machine on its side and clean the blade area. If grass cuttings are compacted in the blade area, remove
with a wooden or plastic implement.
● Always wear gardening gloves when handling or working near the sharp blades.
Store the machine in a dry place. Do not place other objects on top of the machine. To save space, fold up the
handle fully.
● Ensure the cables are not trapped when folding/unfolding top/bottom handles. Do not drop the handles.
The machine can be stored with the grass box disassembled.
Transport:
The battery is tested according to UN document ST/SG/AC.10/11/Rev.3 Part III, subsection 38.3. It has
effective protection against internal overpressure and short circuiting as well as devices for the prevention of
violent rupture and dangerous reverse current flow.
The lithium-equivalent content in the battery is below applicable limit values. Therefore, the battery is not
subject to national or international regulations pertaining to dangerous mediums, neither as an individual
component nor when inserted into a machine. However, the regulations governing dangerous goods may be
relevant when transporting several batteries. In this case, it can be necessary to comply with special conditions
(e.g., concerning the packaging). This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause
cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Return Policy:
Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item in its original
condition and original carton box, within 30 days, for a full refund, less shipping. The buyer is responsible for
return shipping charges. Returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 40% of the purchase price. Missing
parts will be charged at full suggested retail cost. After 30 days, returns are only accepted for repair or
replacement under the manufacturer’s warranty. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the buyer.
Turbo Garden Products guarantees all our products to be free from defects. Defective products may be returned
within 7 days of receipt of the product for repair or replacement only. After 7 days, the buyer is responsible for
return shipping charges as stated in the manufacturer’s warranty.

LIMITED WARRANTY PARTS AND LABOR
Turbo Garden Products warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship within the following
warranty period, starting from the date of sale to the original consumer only.
If this product proves defective within the FIVE (5) YEAR warranty period (two years on battery) Turbo Garden
Products will repair or replace (at Turbo Garden’s sole discretion) the defective product. Said product must be first
returned, with your sales receipt, to the retailer of purchase. If the retailer does not honor the 5 year warranty period
contact Turbo Garden Products customer service for repair or replacement options. The transportation cost to the
service depot is the responsibility of the owner. The transportation back to the consumer is the responsibility of Turbo
Garden Products.
This warranty does not apply to any Turbo Garden Product which is used for commercial, rental, or industrial
purposes, is damaged by accident, misuse, abuse, improper line voltage, water, lighting, or any acts of God. This
warranty is void if product is altered, modified, or if any parts or service covered by this warranty are furnished by
anyone other than Turbo Garden Products or one of its independent Authorized warranty Stations. This warranty
does not cover cartons, carrying straps, battery accessories, cosmetic parts, or any other accessories used in
connection with the product or consequent damages due to a defect in the product.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. THIS IS THE COMPLETE
WARRANTY STATEMENT AND NO OTHER EXPRESSED WARRANTY IS VALID AGAINST TURBO GARDEN
PRODUCTS. SOME STATES/ PROVINCES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED
