Place the Tripod so that the Prism
Pole (center pole of Tripod) rests
in the installed Ground Spike.
Ensure the Tripod’s level bubble is
centered. Make sure the Tripod is
level throughout operation.
Attach the large antenna (12 in)
found in the accessory box to the
Base Station.
Holding the Base Station steady,

Best Practices for Mixing Robot Paint:
These are general guidelines. Contact Turf Tank Support or your
Field Operations Engineer for brand-specific instructions.
Pour water into an empty 5.5
gallon jug:
For a mix ratio of 4:1
(bright) use four gallons
of water.
For a mix ratio of 3:1
(brighter) use three gallons of
water.
Pour one gallon of paint
concentrate into the jug.
Mix with drill bit for at least
90 seconds or up to two full

Robot, Tablet, or Base Station not working as they should?
Check the following first:
Are the batteries in the Tablet, the Robot, and for the Base
Station fully charged?
Is the Robot’s battery seated properly in its compartment?
Is the compartment latch locked?
Are the antennas attached to the Base Station and the
Robot?
Is the Emergency Stop button engaged? Are the Bumper
stop mechanisms engaged?
Is the Tablet connected to the Robot’s WiFi? Is the Robot
connected to the App (does the Robot appear in the App)?
Is the WiFi blocked?
Is the Tablet receiving a cellular signal? Is Roaming Data
turned on? Is the cellular signal strong? Do 4G and R
appear above the cell signal indicator on the Tablet?
Reboot the Robot and the Tablet. Shut them down
completely, then power up again.
Still having trouble?

Charge batteries EVERY DAY.
Charge Robot Batteries.
Charge the Tablet.
Charge the Base Station batteries (Pole Battery or LP-E6
batteries).
Monitor battery life on the Tablet, Robot, and Base
Station.
If you paint multiple fields a day, consider upgrading to a Pole
Battery or buying additional LP-E6 batteries.
For best performance and to prevent damage, keep batteries
on all components above 25% charge.
Check the field you are painting for obstacles or bad
field condition.
Clean Robot thoroughly after EVERY use.
Remove Quick Fan Cap, Spray Nozzle, Gasket, and Chamber
Reducer. Wash them all with warm water.
Run warm (not hot) water through the Paint System (hoses,
pump, sprayer) until clear.
Remove the Mesh Filter from the housing on the tube in the
Paint System and wash it in warm water.
