Installation Instructions
Bluetooth Audio Kit for Saunalogic²
Read instructions thoroughly before attempting installation!
This document outlines the basic steps necessary to electrically connect your Bluetooth (BT) Audio kit to
the Saunalogic² control package (required to operate this kit, sold separately).
Note: The BT-2 should be mounted outside of the sauna in an area free from moisture,
electrical interference or metal obstructions that could reduce the range of the BT antenna,
which is built into the BT-2 box.
Note: The speakers are heat and water resistant but care should be taken to avoid mounting
directly above the sauna heater.
Mounting your speakers over benches, in the back wall (under the upper bench) or inside wooden speaker
enclosures are acceptable mounting options and will provide the best sound. The speakers will require a
3-7/8” diameter clearance hole with a minimum of 1-3/4” of depth.
Verify contents of kit:
1. Speaker (qty 2)

3. BT-2 Bluetooth box w/ mounting screws (not shown)
4. Speaker cables, 18’ (qty 2)

Mounting speakers:
Push on screen from back side of speaker cover. The screen should easily pop out. You can use the
opening in the cover as your template for cutting the clearance hole in your sauna wall/ceiling or draw
a 3-7/8” diameter circle. If using the cover as a template, cut on the outside edge of the circle to get
correct size hole.
To mount speaker, place the trim ring over the hole in your T&G then put the speaker inside the hole,
being careful to line up the 4 mounting holes in the speaker with the holes in the trim ring.
Secure the assembly with the 4 black screws provided in kit. Snap the grill cover back on to complete
the installation.
Hint: Mounting the speaker to the trim ring, with the screws before putting in the ceiling will
make it easier to mount if you are by yourself.

Electrical Connections:
Speakers: Connect the wire with the brown stripe to the positive (+) terminal on the speaker and the
solid white wire to the negative (-) terminal.
Note: your wires may not have the red insulators shown in photo. They are not needed
Connect the other end of the speaker wires to the “Y” harness that will be connected to the
BT-2 box shown in the next step. The wire leads from the right speaker should be connected
to the “Y” harness wire number 1. The left speaker leads to “Y” harness wire number 2.

BT-2 box: The BT-2 box has two plug receptacles located on its sides. Plug the “Y” cable with the red
connector to the smaller receptacle on the side of the box. Plug the Power cable’s large
connector to the large receptacle on the other side of the box.

Connecting Power cable to Saunalogic² contactor box:
The opposite end of the red/white power cable has a small white connector that is to be plugged into the
main PCA board, position CN-6 located inside the Saunalogic² contactor box, (CB-13 or CB-14). This
connection will provide power to the BT-2 box whenever the Bluetooth button is selected on the
Saunalogic² touch screen.
Warning! Make sure power to the CB-14/CB-13 box is OFF before working inside.
System Operation:
Restore power to the CB-14 box
To power up the system, press the Bluetooth icon, on the Saunalogic² control face. (shown in yellow
circle below) It should glow blue and you will hear a confirmation tone from the audio system speakers.
Open “settings” on your mobile device and make sure that Bluetooth is turned “ON”. Your phone will
search for new devices and you will see TyloHelo Audio show up in the discovered devices screen.
Select the new device to pair with the audio system. When successfully paired, you will hear another
confirmation tone through the system speakers. On initial start-up, it may take a few minutes to link.
Open your favorite music app to select content to listen too. All system functions such as play, skip,
volume and pause are controlled via your smart device.
Note: It is not recommended to leave your mobile device inside the sauna. The devices
warranty may be void if damaged from excessive heat or moisture.
