Basic operations
Turn on / off the player
To turn the player on or off press the button VOL/PWR (1)

Reset button
The RESET button (8) is located on the front panel of the player and can be activated with a
pen or another object with a thin end (do not use the object with a sharp end for
initialization to prevent damage to the device). The reset button is activated in the following
cases:
-for initialization of the system if all connections are completed
-if the player's buttons or functions do not work
Pressing the RESET button is equivalent to disconnecting the power of the player. In this
case the user’s settings are being saved.

Control of the radio
Click on the „Radio“icon for switching radio listening mode.
Switching of frequency ranges
While the radio is operating press the FM/AM/VHF button for selecting the required
frequency range. The ranges are selected in the following sequence:
FM (87,5..108 MHz) VHF (65..74 MHz) AM(522..1620 kHz)
Seeking available radio stations
Press the < or > buttons on the display (<<(3) or >> (4) on the front panel ) for automatic
station search down and up the range, respectively. Provided that you want to set the
frequency manually, turn control 12.
Recording and listening of remembered radio stations
It is possible to memorize frequencies of radio stations for each frequency range.
Press and hold one of the buttons on the display (for more than one second) for
memorizing current station1..6 (7..12, 13..18).
-Press buttons 1..6(7..12, 13..18) for tuning to the station previously memorized in the
corresponding memory cell.

-For switching the memory cells press the Memory button. There are 6 cells for VHF, 12
cells for AM, 18 cells for FM.
Automatic search and memorizing of radio stations
Brief pressing of the Search button puts the radio into a special range with its memory cells.
Further long pressing of the Search button starts automatic scanning of the current range
and records the frequencies of the found radio stations in memory cells.

Radio settings
PTY (Subjects of received radio stations)
This function allows to search for radio stations with a specific broadcast topic .
Select the desired topic:
NONE –function is disabled
POP M, ROCK M –popular music, rock music
EASY M, LIGHT M –scenic music, light music
CLASSICS, OTHER M –klasická hudba, jiná hudba
JAZZ M, COUNTRY –jazz, country music
NATION M, OLDIES M –national music, old melodies
FOLK M –folk music
NEWS, AFFAIRS, INFO –news, events, information
SPORT, EDUCATE, DRAMA –sport, education, drama
CULTURE, SCIENCE, VARIED –culture, science, program without a specific type
WEATHER, FINANCE, CHILDREN –weather, finance, programs for children
SOCIAL, RELIGION, PHONE IN –social programs, religious programs, programs with listeners
TRAVEL, LEISURE, DOCUMENT –travel, leisure time, documentary programs

After setting the radio automatically tunes into the stations of the selected type.
TA (Traffic report function)
Traffic report function(TA) allows to check the reception of radio stations that broadcast
traffic information. For enabling traffic reports function activate this function TA ON. The
symbol TA will appear on the displey when the receive mode is on. In this mode the radio
searches for stations that broadcast traffic information. To control the volume of traffic
reports use TA VOL.
EON (Mode of automatic receiving of road messages)
This function monitors and automatically plays theradio station that broadcasts traffic
information.
AF (The automatic switching to alternative frequencies)
The AF function ensures that the selected station is automatically taken to the frequency
with the best reception.
Stereo/Mono –Stereo/Mono listening mode
Local –the radio will accept only strong signal
Dix –Radio stations accept all radiostations of current band

Controlling the audio player
Inserting SD / MMC cards
Insert SD / MMC card into the special connector (11) which is located on the right side of
the player. For pulling out the card push it gently. If the disk contains supported music
tracks, the switching to the selection mode will be made automatically.
Connect USB device
Connect a USB drive with the connector which is located in the glove compartment. If the
disk contains supported music tracks, the switchi ng to the selection mode is made
automatically.
Attention:
-Before pulling out the USB / SD / MMC disk, you need to stop playing,
otherwise it may harm the disk. Press the button to stop the playback ). Then
remove the disk.
-Playback is provided by plenty of USB / SD / MMC disks, but it does not
guarantee compatibility with all types of disks.
File selection mode
For selecting a file you must select the source first (SD or USB, while using the discs at the
same time) and the format (Music or Video, if there are files in various formats).
Click twice on the selected file to start playing.

Using Bluetooth (BT)
The apparatus supports Bluetooth wireless functionality with mobile phones that have the
BT module, and can be used as a wireless headset (hands free). The device also supports
A2DP, allowing play tracks from a BT device.
STARTING
Turn on the BT function on the mobile phone and search for BT devices. If the search is
successful, the phone displays the name "KTCAR_KIT". Connect to the KTCAR_KIT device. If
you need a PIN, enter "1234".
If the connection is successful, an audible signal will sound and the Bluetooth connection
indicator will light up on the display.
Adjust the volume of the call using the knob (1). The volume of the BT mode is controlled
separately from the modes of the radio and audio / video player.

Attention: Due to various ways of implementing BT-connection in mobile devices,
all functions are not guaranteed to work with all devices

Contact mode

AUX mode
Connect the device to the AUX jack on the front panel (11). Switch to AUX mode for
listening to music from your device.
Сompass
The compass shows:
Direction of movement on the sides of the world (in the stationary position the readings
may be incorrect). The direction of movement along the azimuth (in the stationary position
the readings may be incorrect). Coordinates of the current location. Height above sea level,
average speed.

To adjust the sound field, move the speaker up, down, right, left. For rough adjustment,
you can set the sound level of high and low frequencies from 0 to 14 conventional units.
Move the switch to activate the loud mode.
