• Restart 3ress and release the Reset button
quickly.
• Restore to Factory Default Settings 3ress and

powering on the C5M 3oint.

Hardware Installation
1. Connect the Ethernet Cable to the Ethernet port.
2. Insert the included microSD Card into the
microSD Slot.
3. Connect the other end of the cable to a port on
a network switch, such as an EdgeSwitch.

Use an 802.3af switch, such as an EdgeSwitch, or a
USB power source (not included).

The C5M3oint can be powered by an EdgeSwitch

Software Installation
The CRM Control software is pre-installed on the
CRM3oint. To access it, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that your host systePhas an Internet
connection and is on the saPe /ayer-2 network
as the CRM3oint.
2. The CRM 3oint is set to DHCP by default, so it
will try to autoPatically obtain an I3address.
Assign a specific I3address to the CRM 3oint, or
check the 'HC3server to see which I3address
was assigned to it.
<ou can also discover the CRM 3oint using the
Ubiquiti® 'evice 'iscovery Tool, available at
https://www.ubnt.com/download/utilities
3. /aunch a web browser. In the address field,
type http: followed by the I3address of the
CRM3oint. 3ress enter (3C) or return (Mac).
4. If this is your first tiPe using the CRM3oint,
proceed to step .
If you have previously logged into the
CRM3oint, proceed to step .
. The CRM 3oint user interface will appear and
begin upgrading the device software to the
latest version.

6. When the upgrade is coPplete, create a new
user account:
a. Enter a Username and Password.
b. ConfirPyour password in the Confirm
Password field.
c. Click Create Account.
. Enter your Username and Password, and click
Sign In to log into the CRM 3oint.

8. The Discovery page will appear. This page lets
you connect devices to the CRM 3oint. There are
two ways to connect to devices:
• By I3address
• By discovery (scan your network for devices)
Note: To connect a device to the CRM 3oint,
both Pust be on the saPe /ayer-2 network.
To connect by I3address:
a. Click Search By IP.
b. Enter an IP Range with login credentials for
the devices in that range.
c. Click Connect.

To connect by discovery:
a. Click Discover to display a list of devices the
CRM 3oint has discovered on your network.
b. Select one or Pore devices that share the
saPe credentials.
c. Click Connect.
d. Repeat steps a to c to connect additional
devices with different login credentials.
9. When you are finished connecting devices to
the CRM 3oint, click Finish to display a list of
devices being Ponitored by the CRM 3oint.

Electrical Safety InforPation
1. CoPpliance is required with respect to voltage, frequency,
and current requirePents indicated on the Panufacturer´s
label. Connection to a different power source than those
specified Pay result in iPproper operation, daPage to
the equipPent or pose a fire hazard if the liPitations are
not followed.
2. There are no operator serviceable parts inside this
equipPent. Service should be provided only by a
qualified service technician.

/iPited Warranty
UBIQUITI NETWORKS, Inc (“UBIQUITI NETWORKS”) warrants
that the product(s) furnished hereunder (the “3roduct(s)”)
shall be free froPdefects in Paterial and workPanship for a
period of one (1) year froPthe date of shipPent by UBIQUITI
NETWORKS under norPal use and operation. UBIQUITI
NETWORKS´sole and exclusive obligation and liability under
the foregoing warranty shall be for UBIQUITI NETWORKS, at
its discretion, to repair or replace any 3roduct that fails to
conforPto the above warranty during the above warranty
period. The expense of rePoval and reinstallation of any
3roduct is not included in this warranty. The warranty period
of any repaired or replaced 3roduct shall not extend beyond
its original terP.
Warranty Conditions
The above warranty does not apply if the 3roduct:
(I) has been Podified and/or altered, or an addition
Pade thereto, except by Ubiquiti Networks, or
Ubiquiti Networks´authorized representatives, or as
approved by Ubiquiti Networks in writing
(II) has been painted, rebranded or physically Podified
in any way
(III) has been daPaged due to errors or defects in cabling
(I9) has been subMected to Pisuse, abuse, negligence,
abnorPal physical, electroPagnetic or electrical
stress, including lightning strikes, or accident
(9) has been daPaged or iPpaired as a result of using
third party firPware
(9I) has no original Ubiquiti MAC label, or is Pissing any
other original Ubiquiti label(s)or
(9II) has not been received by Ubiquiti within 30 days of
issuance of the RMA.

In addition, the above warranty shall apply only if: the
product has been properly installed and used at all tiPes in
accordance, and in all Paterial respects, with the applicable
3roduct docuPentationall Ethernet cabling runs use CAT
(or above), and for outdoor installations, shielded Ethernet
cabling is used, and for indoor installations, indoor cabling
requirePents are followed.
Returns
No 3roducts will be accepted for replacePent or repair
without obtaining a Return Materials Authorization (RMA)
nuPber froPUBIQUITI NETWORKS during the warranty
period, and the 3roducts being received at UBIQUITI
NETWORKS´facility freight prepaid in accordance with the
RMA process of UBIQUITI NETWORKS. 3roducts returned
without an RMA nuPber will not be processed and will be
returned freight collect or subMect to disposal. InforPation on
the RMA process and obtaining an RMA nuPber can be found
at: www.ubnt.com/support/warranty.
