Warning
Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) information
SAR tests are conducted with the device transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested
frequency bands. Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the actual SAR
level of the device while operating is usually well below the maximum value. In general, the closer
you are to a wireless base station antenna, the lower the power output from the device.
Before a new device can be made available for sale to the public, it must be tested and certified by
the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) to make sure that it does not exceed the established
exposure limit. Tests for each device are performed in positions and locations as required by the
FCC. To support body-worn activities, choose belt clips or holsters which do not contain metallic
components to maintain a safe distance of 1cm between the device and your body.
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. This states that the manufacturer has taken the
necessary steps to ensure that the equipment complies with appropriate technical and safety
standards. A label showing that the sample has been tested and found acceptable by the
Commission is then attached to the equipment.
Undesired operation
Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for supplying the
device could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device
(an electronic device that is marketed for use by the general public), pursuant to part 15 of the FCC
Rules. These limits are designed to provide protection against harmful radio interference. This
equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy, and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur. If this equipment does cause
interference to radio or television reception, this can be resolved taking the following measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment to an outlet on a different circuit to the receiver.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/ TV technician for help.
