3Precautions
zAvoidsquashing,shaking,ordampingthedeviceintransport,
storage,andmounting.Keepawayfromvibrationsourcesas
muchaspossibleduringmounting.
zUsethepoweradapter(AC24V3A)deliveredwiththedevice
bythemountingpackage,orselectaPoweroverEthernet
(PoE)device.Improperpoweradaptersmaydamagethe
device.
zVerifythatthepowercablebetweenthepoweradapterand
thedeviceisequaltoorshorterthan1.5m.Ifthispower
cableislongerthan1.5m,thevoltageofthedeviceis
loweredandthedevicefrequentlywillbeabnormal.Ifitis
requiredtolengthenthepowercable,lengthenthecable
betweenthepoweradapterandthemains(220V).
zPoweroffthedevicebeforemovingit.Duringmoving,
exercisecautiontoavoidelectricshock.Beawarethatthe
deviceispoweredoncethepowercableisconnectedtothe
mains.

zWhenmovingthedevice,donotholdthetailcablebyhand
forweightbearing.Otherwise,thecableconnectorofthe
devicecouldbeloosened.
zDonotcutoffthetailcableforconnectionpurposes.Abare
tailcablemayeasilycauseashortcircuit,resultingin
abnormalityofordamagetothedevice.
zWhenconnectingtoanexternalinterface,useanexisting
connectionterminal,andensurethatthecableterminal
(latchorbuckle)isingoodconditionandproperlyfastened.
Ensurethatthecableisnottenseduringmounting,witha
propermarginreservedtoavoidpoorportcontactor
looseningcausedbyshockorshake.
zDonotexposebutwellprotectthetailendofthetailcable.
Ensurethatthetailcableareaiswaterproof,andavoid
immersingthetailcableinaccumulatedwater.
zEnsurethatthehighlevelsignalofalarminputislowerthan
5VDCwhenconnectingtothealarminputinterface.

zEnsurethatthedeviceisstablymounted(especiallywhenit
ismountedonthewallorceiling).Usethesafetyropeto
preventthedevicefromfalloffwhenmountingthecamera.
zTokeepthehousingclean,donotremovethetransparent
protectivefilmintheouterlayerofthehousingduring
mounting.Afterconfirmingthatthemountingiscomplete,
removethetransparentprotectivefilmbeforethedeviceis
started.
zItiscommonthatstaticelectricityexistsonthehousing.To
avoiddustabsorptioncausedbystaticelectricity,itis
recommendedthatyouwipethesurfaceofthehousingwith
ESDglovesafterremovingthetransparentprotectivefilm.
4Installation
MountingtheSDCard(Optional)
TheSDcardislocatedinsidethedevice.TomounttheSD
card,youneedtoremovethehousing.Hotpluggingisnot
recommendedafteryouinserttheSDcard.

FordetailsaboutrecommendedSDcardspecifications,
contactsalesortechnicalsupportpersonnel.TheSDcard
usestheFAT32filesystem,andsupportsonlyonepartition.
1. Unscrewthehousingbyremoving3innerhexagonscrews
alongthehousingedge.
2. InserttheSDcardintotheslotandreinstallthehousing.

CeilingMount
Youcanmountthedevicewhenthewallandceilingcanbear
commonself‐tappingscrewsandthedeviceweight(seethe
section"Specifications").Theceilingbracketisattachedwiththe
devicedelivery.
1. Markpositionsofholes.Verifythatholesonthewallalign
withtheinnerholesoftheceilingbracket.
a. Leadcablestobeconnectedoutofwallholes.
b. Markpositionsofholesbyreferringtomountpointsof
theceilingbracket.
2. Drillholes(depth:about30mm)onthewallbyusingadrill
bitofthediameter6mmor6.5mm.

3. Mounttheplasticrivetsofself‐tappingscrews,hammerthe
plasticrivetsintothepilotholes,andverifythattheyare
firm.
4. Mounttheceilingbracketbyusingascrewdrivertofasten
theself‐tappingscrewsthroughthebracketpilotholesto
theceiling.

5. Mountthedomeandtheadapterbracket.Align4screwsof
theadapterbracketwiththemountpointsofthedome,and
tightenthescrewsbyusingascrewdriver.

6. Fastenoneendofthesafetyropetotheadapterbracket
hole.
7. Fastentheotherendofthesafetyropetotheceilingbracket,
andconnectallcables.
a. Align4steppedscrewsoftheadapterbracketwiththe
largehardyholes,andpushthesteppedscrewsupwards.
b. Pushthesteppedscrewstowardsthesmallhardyholes,
verifythattheadapterbracketisfirmlyfixedtotheceiling
bracket,andtightenthecaptivescrews.

open‐wiremount

youneedtoremoveapieceofplastic
