INTRODUCTION
ThenetTV3System platformconsistsofthe followingelements:
§ContentManagementSystem(CMS) T1Box
T1Boxisasystemon chip(SoC)base device thatintegrated AccountManageand Content
Distribution functions.It uses theredundantstructuretodivide intomainand backup. Generally,
backupisinstandbystatus and doesnowork,andall the workisdone bymain.When maincan't
provide service , backupwill enableand provide the sameservice totakethe place ofmain
temporarilyuntil mainrestoresitsfunctionality.
§MediaSever(Head-End) T2Box
T2Boxisalso asystemonchipdevice that integrated dual tuner, 2channelsH.264encoderand
contentdeliveryfunctions.
§ClientPlayer
netTV3Systemprovides multi-platformPlayer tomeettheneedsof avarietyofdevice.
Customer canusethecomputer,smart phone,tablet and STBtoenjoywatching TV.

INSTALLATION
Connection
T1Connection
Connect tonetwork
Connectthe ETHERNETporttothe corresponding port onyour Modem orRouterusing
the Ethernet cable.
Whenthe NETindicatoron thefrontpanelisred, it meansLAN functionalityisenabled.
Whenit isgreen,either WAN orWAN+LAN functionalityisenabled.
Connect PowerSource
(Remembertoplace thestepatlast.)
Connectthe supplied power adaptertotheport labeled DC5.5V, andplugthe power
adapterintoanelectricaloutlet.
WhenT1startingup,thePWRindicator onthefront panelwill turngreen.

T2Connection
Connect cableorantenna
Connectthe Coaxial/RFcabletotheAntennaIN ofT2.
Connect tonetwork
Connectthe ETHERNETporttothe corresponding port onyour Modem orRouterusing
the Ethernet cable.
Whenthe NETindicatoron thefrontpanelisred, it meansLAN functionalityisenabled.
Whenit isgreen,either WAN orWAN+LAN functionalityisenabled.
Connect PowerSource
(Remembertoplace thestepatlast.)

Configuration
Beforeconfiguration you havetomake surethatyour PC andyourT1or T2areconnected tothe
samerouter.If yournetworkconfiguration modeisPPPoEand thereisnorouter, please use the
Ethernetcabletoconnect yourT1or T2andPC directly.
T1Configuration
1. If yournetworkmodeisPPPoE, pleaseskipStep1. If itisDynamicorStaticIP,please loginthe
correspondingroutertoadd four virtualserver portsfirst.
Enter therouter s “Virtual Servers”page, andclickthe “AddNew”buttontoadd theservice ports
3512/80/3514/3515 for T1as following.Type the T1IPAddressintheIPAddress field.The
protocolsof ports3512/80are “UDP”and ports3514/3515 is “TCP”.
Thenit will displayas following.You canuse the managementtool todiagnose ifthesefour
portscan worknormally.
Port 3512/UDP isusedfor communication withT2;
Port 80/UDP isusedfor communication withClient;
Port 3514/TCP isused for communication withMainT1(onlyavailableforBackup T1);
Port 3515/TCP isused forT1loginandmanagement.

If your networkmodeisDynamicIP, you can
skipthe followingStep 2~6anduseT1directly.
2. Doubleclickthe “ ” icon tostartthe
Configuration Toolnet_Setup onyour PC.
3. Select “T1NetworkConfiguration”as the
right picture, click “Next”toforwardtothe
next step.
4. Thenenterthe IDandpasswordofT1to
loginand gotothe networkconfiguration
page.
5. Therearethreenetworkconnection types:
DynamicIP, StaticIPandPPPoE.
DynamicIP:
If yourT1
isconnected toacablemodem or
router,and networkconfiguration isdynamic
IP(DHCP).Thisisthesameasdefault,so
you can skipthenetworksetting steps and
use T1directly.
StaticIP:
If you aregiven afixed IP, please select
“StaticIP”andenterthe staticIPinformation
provided byyour ISP inthe belowblank
column,such asIPAddress, Subnet Mask,
DefaultGatewayand DNS.
PPPOE:
If your ISPuses PPPoEprotocol forInternetaccess, pleaseselect “PPPoE”and enter the
account andpasswordprovided byISP.
Please select oneof themtoconfigureT1accordingtoyour networktype and click “Finish”.
ThenT1will restartfortheconfiguration totakeeffect.
TheNETindicatorwillbecomegreen if you set successfully.
6. If you select PPPoE,you havetoplugouttheEthernetcablefrom PC andreconnectit tothe
ADSLModem, thenreplug theT1 spower. Pleasenotice theorder ofthe twosteps: Connect
Ethernetcablefirst,thenplugonthepower.

T2Cofiguration
1. Doubleclickthe “ ” icon tostart
net_Setup.
2. Select “T2NetworkConfiguration”as the
right picture, click “Next”toforwardtothe
next step.
3. Thenit will search T2that havebeen under
the sameRouter, it will listthe IP&MAC
Addressofthe searchedT2.
Select aT2and
click “Next”togotothe network
configurationpage.
Note:If yourT2and PC arenot underthe
sameLANnetwork,you can t search out it.
4. Therearefournetworkconnection types:
DynamicIP, StaticIP, PPPoEand WiFi.
Please select oneof themtoconfigureT2
accordingtoyour networktype.
DynamicIP:
If yourT2
isconnected toacablemodem or
router,
and networkconfiguration isdynamic
IP(DHCP).Thisisthesameasdefault,so
you can skipthenetworksetting steps and
use T2directly.
StaticIP:
If you aregiven afixed IP, please select
“StaticIP”andenterthe staticIPinformation
provided byyour ISP inthe belowblank
column,such asIPAddress, Subnet Mask,
DefaultGatewayand DNS.
PPPOE:
If your ISPuses PPPoEprotocol forInternetaccess, pleaseselect “PPPoE”and enter the
account andpasswordprovided byISP.
WiFi:
IfyourT2isconnectedtothespecified USBwireless adapter, please select “WiFi”. It will
search
the availablewireless networks.Thenetworkname(SSID)and securitysetting(Opennetwork
or Secured)of detected WiFinetworksaredisplayed inthe WiFinetworksection.
5. Port Forwarding: The default settingisUPnPAuto.If theeffect of automaticport isn tsatisfying,
you can setAV portfor yourself.
Iftherouter supportsUPnP,pleasedon t select DMZorVirtualServer.Ifyou selecttheitem you
havetoenterthe correspondingportsinthe followingfieldswhen settoDMZor VirtualServer.
(Please refertoinstructions of router.)

6. If you select PPPoE,you havetoplugouttheEthernetcablefrom PC andreconnectit tothe
ADSLModem, thenreplug theT2 spower. Pleasenotice theorder ofthe twosteps: Connect
Ethernetcablefirst,thenplugonthepower.
7. T2willreboot automaticallyforthenetworkconfiguration totakeeffect.TheNETindicatorwill
becomegreen if you setsuccessfully. And ifthe NETindicator isstill redor off after10 minutes,
please refertothefollowing instructions.
If theNETindicatorisofforred,T2can tbe
connected byinternet. Please followthe steps below
foreasynetworktroublessolution.
NETindicatorisoff:
1).Checkif thetwoindicatorsof RJ-45Ethernet
connectorlightgreen.Ifnot please confirmthatthe
Ethernetcableandnetworkdevice (modem or
router)areavailable.
2).Ifthe connection type isPPPoE, pleasecheckif
the inputaccount andpasswordarecorrect.Then
checkif themodemand telephone circuit are
available.
3).Ifthe connection type isWiFi, you shouldconfirm
thatthewireless signalstrengthisatlease 3bands
(full bandsbest).If notplease decrease the distance
between T2and wireless router.
And ifthe router issecured, please checkifthe input
keyiscorrect.If thekeyisincorrect, you haveto
reset T2first.
NETindicatorisred:
Thisstatus meansthat LAN connection isavailable,
butthe connectedrouter can tforwardportswhich
T2request tointernet. Because T2forwards portsby
UPnPas default,so you shouldcheckifthe router s
UPnPfunction isavailable.
Please connectPC and T2tothesamerouter,then
run net_Setupand select “UPnPFunction Testing”,
and thenclick the “Test”buttontostarttesting.
>> Testresult:Doesn’tsupport UPnP
1). Enterintotheroutersettingspageandenablethe
UPnPfunction (asright figure).
2).Ifthe router doesn t supportUPnP, pleaseuse
DMZor virtualserver instead.

>> Testresult:SupportsUPnP
1). Ifthe router sUPnPfunction ofisenabled,please
trytodisableit and enableagain.Thenunplugthe
power adapter ofT2andplug it again.
2).Ifthereisanotherrouteronfrontoftheconnected
router,thisissecondgrade routerconfiguration (as
rightfigure).Theconfiguration can tforwardthe
requested portstointernetsuccessfully,so you have
toremoveone of thetworouterstouseT2.
8. If thenetworkequipmentwhich T2connectedisarouter, andthecomputersthatconnected to
the sameroutercan access totheweb,just T2can't goonline viainternet, you canuse the
remoteassistanceservice for help.
Thissituationmaybebecause thatroutercan ttransfertheconnectionportsthat T2needs,and
then you mustsettheroutertoconfigurethese connection ports.If you don tknowhowtoset,
you can enabletheremoteassistance service andletthe professionalpersonnelhelptosetit.
Startnet_Setup andselect “T2Remote
Assistance SettingsService”,then it will
search andlistT2thathavebeen
connected.
ThenselecttheT2you want set andthen
click “Next”directlytoforwardtothesetting
page.
Select “Enable”,then enterthe Assistance
service key,Router sloginaccountand
Router sloginpassword,and your phone
number.
TheAssistanceservice keyisastring with
10 characters.You canget it fromyour
operator.
Click “Finish”thenT2
will reboot andwaiting
fortheassistanceservice settings.
Whenthe assist personnelcompletethe
remoteassistancesettings,the Remote
Assistance Service Settingsitemwillchange
toDisable,thenT2will rebootforthe
changestotakeeffect.

T1_Managerisasystemmanagementtoolwhich isused toviewand manageall account, CH
TableandT2information. And it hastobeconnected toT1torealizeitsfunctions.
Doubleclickthe “ ” icon tostart T1_Manager,the mainmenuafter loginisas following:

EditCH Table
Select aCH Tabletoedit,thereare9CH tables for you toedit.TheseCH tables areusedto
distributetodifferentaccounts.
Theleftchannellistisfixed tothedefault channeltable,and the rightlist isthecurrentCH Table.
You canonlyedit therightmappingrelation.Whenachannelissetas “0”it meansthat channelwill
not appeared onTVvideo.
Backup
Thisitemisusedtobackup account formation orCH tableforrestoringwhen necessary, and the
backupfiles can t beopened byotherapplications.Thebackupfiles will besaved inthe “Backup”
folder underthe installation folderas default.
Thefileextension nameofbackupaccountfileis “act”,and the account fileis “cht”.

Restore
Thisitemisusedtorestorethe backupaccount and CH Table. Selectthe backupfileandclick
“Open”torestore.Thenthe currentaccount andCH Tablesetting willbe repeated bythebackup
files, soplease usethefunction withcaution.
Export
Usingthisitem you canexport theaccount andCH TablefilestoExcel format.
Clicktheitem andselect the destination folder,then it canexporttheaccount information or CH
tabletothefolder.

Login/Logout
Beforemanagementyou havetologinT1first. EntertheID and passwordofyourT1inthe dialog
then click “Login”tologinand operate.
You can also click thisitemtologoutwhen inloginstatus.
Exit
Exit T1_Manager.
Account
ShowAll Accounts
Thisitemwilllist the information all account, such as ID&password,Activity, CH Tableand Expiry.
Remoteuserscanuse these accountID&passwordtologinandwatch TV.
Thedetailed descriptionsof each itemareinthelast page. Double-clickanaccountcanedit it.

EditAccount
Thisitemisusedtoedit the selectedaccount foroperator.Selectanaccount intheaccountlist and
clickthe “Edit”menu,it will pop up theaccount edit windowas right.
Active Enableor disablethe account.
No. Account number.
ID Account loginID.
Password Account loginpassword.
CH Table Thereare10CH tablesfor select,each can set differentchannel. CH table
1isthedefault. The other nine CH Tablescan beedited intheFilemenu.
Operatorcan selectone ofthem for anaccount and thentheaccount can
use theaccountIDandpasswordtowatch the corresponding channelsof
thatCH Table.
Test account Set theaccount astestaccount. Thentheaccount will onlybe availablein
the specifiedtestdaysafteruser firstlogin.
Reset Ifthe testaccounthasbeen used,operatorcan check thisitemtoreturnitto
unused status, andthetest duration will also returntothe presettestdays
before.
Test days Theavailabledaysoftest account. Afteruser logins thetestaccount forthe
firsttime,thetestdayswill decrease withtime.
UserExpiry Whenoperator setthe User Expiry, usercan onlywatch TVbeforeboththe
operator expiryand user expiry.
OperatorExpiry Account operator expiry(fixed). Theaccount isonlyavailablebeforethe
operator expiry.
Comment Account comment, limitedto18 characters.

Searchthe SpecifiedAccount
Thisitemisusedtosearch aspecified account.EntertheaccountIDandthen click “OK”buttonto
search it inall accountslist.
Specifyan AccounttoQuit
If you want todisconnectaspecifiedaccount,you can usethisitem. Then it will pop up adialog for
you totype the accountID, afterconfirmtheaccount will be quitted.

ModifyT1Password
ThisitemisusedtomodifyT1 sloginpasswordfor net-gaTVtools, T1_Manager,net_Setup and
T2_Tester.
Reboot T1
Usingthisitemcan rebootT1when necessary.Then T1will restart andT1_Manager willquit
automatically.
DiagnoseT1
Usingthisitemcan testif thecommunicationports3512/80/3514 can worknormally.
Port 3514isused forcommunication withMainT1, soit onlydiagnoses thisportwhen the current
T1isBackupT1.
CustomDistribution
Using thisitem cansetthedistributionpriorityforeach T2under thecurrentT1.Whenremoteusers
send connection request,T1willdistributeT2inorderof priorityforuserstoconnect. Thisfunction
will be unavailableifthereisno T2connected toT1.
You can also disablethecustomdistribution and use default distribution directly.
Itwilldistributeall TunerAfirst accordingtothe priorityand thenTunerB. For example,thereare
threeT2andtheirpriorityorder isT2(1), T2(2) andT2(3),thentheconnection order will be as

Enablecustom
distribution
Enablethe custom distribution.When disabled,it willuse thedefault

changethatT2priority.T2withhighprioritywillbe gavetop prioritywhen
connection.

Status ShowT2currentstatus,online of offline.
Clear (button) Clear thecurrentcustomdistribution list,and thenit will displaythe default
distribution order.
