BE SAFE:
We recommended that you have at least two people involved in the setup of this
overhead. Seriously.
BE PREPARED:
Contact your Distributor immediately if any parts listed on the prior page are
missing from your overhead or your bulbs arrived broken
1. Connect the overhead tube female end fo the overhead tube male end.
2. Install a side mounting bracket at the base of the male overhead tube and secure
it with a ¼” -20 x 1” Hex Head Bolt. DO NOT FULLY TIGHTEN THIS BOLT YET, but
make sure the bracket is held in place.
3. Using the Pan Head screws and washers already installed on the side of the table,
attach a mounting bracket clamp and and the remaining side mounting bracket to
the front (service door) side of the table.
4. On the rear (non service door) side of the table, remove the pan Head screws
and washers already installed. Save them for reattachment later in the process.
5. Remove the paper from the rubber gasket supplied in the hardware kit to expose
the adhesive backing. With the adhesive side down, carefully center the gasket over
the joint where the overhead male and female tubes meet and securely wrap it
around.
6. Remove the light diffuser from the overhead housing and carefully remove the
fluorescent bulbs. Move the bulbs to a safe area for reinstallation once the overhead
is complete
7. With a piece of cardboard on the floor to protect the part from scratches, put the
light housing mounting bracket on the floor with studs facing upward.
8. Position the joined overhead tubes with the gasket-wrapped joint centered in the
light housing mounting bracket. Turn the overhead housing unside down and guide
the bracket’s four mounting studs through the holes in the housing.

8
9. Slip one ¼” flat washer over each stud, and thread a ¼” – 20 kep nut onto each
stud. Tighten the nuts by hand to secure the housing, then secure them in an
alternating “X” pattern using the 7/16” socket (you will fully tighten them later, but
this is to keep the housing in place during mounting).
10. Rotate the assembled unit, now with the housing secured to the mounting tubes,
into the upright position.
11. Cut the wire tie securing the excess wire to the overhead housing. Feed the wire
through the housing and down the male end overhead tube. Once the wires are fed
through the tube, pull them through the opening at the bottom.
12. On a new table, cut the cable tie securing the side mount display extension
harness and feed that harness into the table. On an older table, feed that harness as
far as possible through the opening and secure it for access in a later step.
13. Have the remaining four ¼” – 20 x 1” pan head Phillips screws and mounting
bracket clamp ready at the backside of the table. You will need them in step #16.
14. New tables have a trap door underneath the table. Remove it at this time
15. This is where having the second
person to help gets important: Carry
the completely assembled unit to
the table. Aim the overhead so the
male tube, where the wire harness
exits, is positioned at the back side
of the table away from the service
door. Lower the female end into the
bracket and clamp installed in the
front side of the table during step
#3.
16. With one person holding the
male tube of the overhead
assembly, have the other person
feed the wires from the overhead
through the opening in the mounting
bracket clamp. On new
installations, also feed these wires
into the back side of the table.
17. Once the wire harness is in
place, use the four ¼” – 20 x 1” pan
head Phillips screws to secure the
mounting bracket clamp and
mounting bracket to the backside of the table.

9
18. Now with the male and female overhead tubes both mounted into the side
bracket clamps, tighten all mounting brackets and clamps until securely fastened.
19. Use the last ¼”-20 hex head bolt and washer to secure the female overhead tube
(front side of table) to the mounting bracket clamp and SECURE BOTH SIDES FIRMLY
with your 7/16” socket.
20. Use a level (or your best judgement) to adjust the overhead housing.
21. Once leveled, tighten the four nuts securing the light housing mounting bracket
with your 7/16” socket. Use an alternating “X” pattern and tighten these nuts as
much as possible without stripping the threads.
22. Use your 1/8” Allen/hex key and insert the ¼” – 20 Allen Set Screw into the
center hole of the overhead housing to prevent any additional movement. THE
OVERHEAD HOUSING WILL PIVOT ON THE TUBES IF PULLED DOWN OR PUSHED
UP. THIS IS NORMAL AND DESIGNED FOR SAFETY TO PREVENT THE ASSEMBLY
AND THE TABLE FROM DAMAGE DUE TO PLAYERS ATTEMPTING TO STAND ON
THEM. CAUTION –EXCESSIVE PIVOTING MAY DISCONNECT OR DAMAGE THE
WIRING.
23. Use the trap door opening
to disconnect the 6” side mount
score display harness from the
main unit harness.(if installing
on an older table, you have
pulled this harness out for
access, disonnnect it at this
time) You may want to save the
side mount score display
harness if you decide later to
remove the overhead and
install a side mount display on
the table. Attach the 3 white
connectors from the overhead
to the three connectors on the
main harness. Each section
connects only one way.
24. Retrieve the fluorescent
lighting tubes and reinstall
them in the overhead. Line up
one tube so the pins are
positioned vertically. Insert the
ends into the white sockets.
Once the contact pins are
pushed in as far as they can go,
turn the bulb clockwise a
quarter turn. You should feel

10
the tube snap into place. Check to make sure both ends of the tube are secured
before releasing the bulb. Repeat process for second bulb.
25. Apply power to the table. Both bulbs should light up immediately. If either or
both bulbs to not illuminate, check to make sure they have a good connection to the
sockets as described in the previous step.
26. If the bulbs still fail to illuminate, inspect the bulb mounting brackets to ensure
they line up flush and square to the bulbs. If not, UNPLUG THE TABLE and then
loosen the screws on the problem bracket for repositioning. Repeat as needed for
other brackets.
27. Once the lamps are operational, slide the light diffuser back into place.
28. On the left end of the overhead housing, reinstall one diffuser trim bracket (lip
facing up) and secure it to the housing with two of the 8 –32 x 5/8” black oxide pan
head Phillips self-tapping screws. Repeat for the other side.
Overhead installation should now be complete.
