2) Connect to Your TV
Connect the Veebeam box to your TV using the AV cable (or HDMI cable).* Turn your TV on and
select the correct video input on the TV.
Plug the Veebeam box into a wall socket. Remove the USB antenna from its cradle, and check
that the light in front of the box comes on.
Your TV will soon display the Veebeam start-up screen.

*Where possible, Veebeam recommends connecting via an HDMI cable for best performance.
**Veebeam SD does not include an HDMI or Optical Audio port, and has one USB port.
3) Insert USB Antenna
Insert the USB antenna into an open USB port on your laptop.
Wait for the indicator on the USB antenna to stay lit
and the Veebeam system tray (Windows) or menu bar
(Mac OS) icon to turn green. This signifies that your
laptop is connected to your TV.
You’re Done!
Your TV should now display your desktop.
4) Using Veebeam
Screencasting Mode (default):
This is the default mode Veebeam comes up in when you plug in the USB antenna. Use this
mode to display your desktop on your TV or share websites with friends and family.
Video PlayTo Mode:
Use this mode to enjoy the best video quality when playing local media files. You can enter
this mode and control media playback by launching the Veebeam Player using the system
tray (Windows) or menu bar (Mac OS). To revert to the Desktop Mode, simply press the
stop button in the Veebeam Player.
Veebeam is designed to work when the TV and laptop are in the same room.
The box should be visible from the laptop to optimize the wireless connection.

Before starting, please ensure that you’ve installed the latest OS and PC OEM
updates on your laptop.
Download the latest Veebeam software from www.veebeam.com/download
and install it on the laptop you wish to connect to your TV.
After installation, a Veebeam icon will
appear in the system tray (Windows) or will
appear on the menu bar when the USB antenna
is inserted (Mac OS).
