1 Allgemeine Hinweise / General Information
1.1 Einleitung / Introduction
Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde,
wir bedanken uns für das Vertrauen, das Sie in unsere
Produkte setzen.
Mit diesem VEIT-Bügeltisch haben Sie sich für ein Gerät
entschieden, das einfache Bedienung und zuverlässige
Funktion optimal verbindet.
Um vollen Nutzen aus dem Gerät zu ziehen, ist die richtige
Anwendung wichtig, die Sie beim Studium der
Gebrauchsanleitung erlernen.
Im Teil 1.2. der Anleitung erhalten Sie wichtige Warn- und
Sicherheitshinweise, die für einen sicheren Betrieb
unerläßlich sind.
Kapitel 2 beschreibt den Aufbau und Anschluss des
Gerätes.
Kapitel 3 gibt Ihnen Hinweise zum Betrieb des Gerätes.
Um die hohe Zuverlässigkeit sicher zustellen, sind
Wartung und Pflege unerläßlich. Diese werden im Kapitel
4 beschrieben.
Sollte einmal etwas nicht funktionieren, finden Sie in
Kapitel 5 schnell Möglichkeiten zur Fehlerbehebung.
Kapitel 6 enthält wichtige technische Daten und eine Liste
gängiger Ersatzteile.
Wir wünschen Ihnen viel Erfolg bei der Anwendung.

We would like to thank you for your confidence in our
products.
By taking this VEIT-ironing table you have chosen a unit,
which is simple to operate and very reliable.
In order to make full use of this unit you need to study the
operating instructions.
Section 1.2 of the operating instructions contains important
warning and safety instructions.
Section 2 describes the installation and connection of the
unit.
Section 3 gives information about the operation of the unit.
The high reliability depends on the maintenance and
service. The instructions are described in section 4.
If something does not function properly, the instructions
quickly indicate how to overcome the problem.
Section 6 contains a list of important spare parts and
technical data.
We wish you much success.

1.2 Warn- und Sicherheitshinweise / Warnings and Safety Instructions
1. Bügeltisch nur in vollständig montiertem Zustand in
Betrieb nehmen! Inbetriebnahme nur bei montiertem
Abwindkamin bzw. Schalldämpfer!
2. Das Gerät darf nur mit der auf dem Typenschild
angegebenen Spannung und Stromart betrieben werden.
3. Störungen an der elektrischen Einrichtung dürfen nur
durch zugelassene Fachkräfte behoben werden.
4. Der Netzanschluss muss bauseitig abgesichert sein!
5. Das Gerät ist mit Stecker ausgestattet. Der Stecker muß
frei zugänglich sein und darf nicht verbaut werden. Ein
Direktanschluss ohne Stecker ist nicht zulässig.
6. Vorschriften örtlicher Elektrizitätsgesellschaften sind zu
beachten.
7. Es dürfen nur von VEIT zugelassene Ersatz- und
Zubehörteile verwendet werden.
8. Der Bügeltisch dient ausschließlich dem Bügeln mit und
ohne Dampf. Insbesondere ist die Fleckentfernung mit
Lösungsmitteln oder anderen brennbaren oder explosiven
Stoffen nicht zulässig.
9. Beim Verschieben des Tisches oder bei
Höhenverstellung darauf achten, daß das Anschlusskabel
nicht eingeklemmt oder beschädigt wird.
1. The ironing table should only be operated when it is
completely assembled. Don’t start operating before
mounting the air-vent chimney or the sound absorber.
2. Only use the voltage and type of current shown on the
machine plate.
3. Electrical faults must only be repaired by authorized
personnel.
4. The mains supply must be provided by the customer.
5. The unit is supplied with a plug. Do not connect without a
plug. The plug must be easily accessible and must not be
covered by any components.
6. Take note of the regulations of the local electric
suppliers.
7. Only use VEIT spare parts and accessories.
8. The ironing table must only be used for ironing with or
without steam. Do not remove spots with solvents or other
combustible or explosive materials.
9. Take care not to squeeze or damage the connection
cable when the table is displaced or the height is adjusted.

Die Montage der Bügeltische UNISET S und UNISET S&B ist
identisch.
2.1 Gerätehöhe / Height of Unit
Wir empfehlen, die Einstellung der Arbeitshöhe zu Beginn
vorzunehmen.
Soll die Höheneinstellung nachträglich geändert werden, ist
eine zusätzliche Person zum Halten des Bügeltisches
notwendig.
The ironing tables UNISET S and UNISET S&B are being
mounted in the same way.
We recommend to adjust the working height at the
beginning of assembly.
If the height is adjusted afterwards, a second person is
needed for holding the ironing table.

2.3 Schalldämpfer/Kamin / Sound absorber/Chimney
An den Ausblasquerschnitt muss der Schalldämpfer bzw.
der Abwindkamin angeschlossen werden.
Die Verlängerung für den Abwindkamin (gestrichelt) ist bei
DOB Spitze rechts und bei der Fläche 130x65 mit zwei
Schwenkarmen notwendig (siehe auch nächstes Kapitel).
Ohne Schalldämpfer bzw. Abwindkamin darf der
Bügeltisch nicht betrieben werden!
The sound absorber or the air-vent chimney has to be
mounted to the blow-out cross section.
An extension for the air-vent chimney (dotted) is necessary for
the dress board table point right and for the flat top
table 130x65 with two swivel arms (see also next section).
The ironing table must not be operated without sound
absorber or air-vent chimney.

2.4 Optionen / Options
2.4.1 Schwenkarm / Swivel arm
Am Grundgerät können bis zu zwei Schwenkarme
angebracht werden. Wird nur ein Schwenkarm verwendet,
empfehlen wir die mittige Anbringung.
Bei Verwendung des Abwindkamins ist in folgenden Fällen
eine Verlängerung für den Abwindkamin notwendig:
1) DOB Spitze rechts
2) Fläche 130x65 bei zwei Schwenkarmen
(siehe kleine Abbildungen)
Up to two swivel arms can be mounted at the base unit. If only
one swivel arm is used, we recommend to assemble it
centrically.
If the air-vent chimney is used, an extension for the air-
vent chimney is necessary in the following cases:
1 Dress board point right
2 Flat top table 130x65 with two swivel arms
(see small illustrations)

3.1 UNISET S Betrieb / UNISET S Operating
Bügeltisch mit Netzschalter [A] einschalten. Mit dem
Fußschalter [B] wird das Gebläse aktiviert und abgesaugt.
Der Luftstrom wird auf den Schwenkarm umgelenkt,
sobald dieser über die Bügelfläche geschwenkt wird.
Die Dosierung der Luftmenge ist über den am Kamin
angebrachten Drehschieber [C] möglich.
Switch on the ironing table using the mains switch [A].
Actuate the fan with the foot switch [B] and start
suctioning.
The air flow switches to the swivel arm, as soon as it is
moved over the ironing surface.
The air quantity can be adjusted with the rotary slide valve [C]
at the chimney.

3.2 UNISET S&B Betrieb /
UNISET S&B Operating
Bügeltisch mit Netzschalter [A] einschalten. Je nach
betätigtem Fußschalter kann man Blasen [B] bzw. Saugen
[C].
Der Luftstrom wird auf den Schwenkarm umgelenkt,
sobald dieser über die Bügelfläche geschwenkt wird.
Die Saug-Dosierung der Luftmenge ist über den am Kamin
angebrachten Drehschieber [D] möglich.
Die Blas-Dosierung der Luftmenge ist über den am
Grundgerät angebrachten Drehschieber [E] möglich.
Switch on the ironing table using the mains switch [A]. Use
the foot switch for blowing [B] or for suction [C].
The air flow switches to the swivel arm, as soon as it is
moved over the ironing surface.
The air quantity for suction can be adjusted with the rotary
slide valve [D] at the chimney.
The air quantity for blowing can be adjusted with the rotary
slide valve [E] on the base unit.

4 Wartung und Pflege / Maintenance and Service
4.1 Lüfterrad / Impeller
Das Gebläserad muss je nach Verschmutzung 2 bis 3 mal
jährlich gereinigt werden, da eine Verschmutzung der
Lüfterradlamellen durch Staub, Appreturen, Bügelrück-
stände usw., die Absaugleistung erheblich vermindern
kann und unter Umständen zu Unwucht des Gebläserades
führt.
Achtung: Vor dem Arbeiten am Grundgerät
Netzstecker ziehen!
Für die gründliche Reinigung des Lüfterrades kann der
Motor zusammen mit dem Lüfterrad ausgebaut werden.
Bitte achten Sie darauf, dass die Lamellen des
Lüfterrades nicht beschädigt werden!
4.2 Bezug / Cover
Nach 40 Arbeitsstunden oder spätestens nach 4 Wochen ist
der Bezug zu reinigen bzw. zu erneuern.
Der Bezug und der Schaumstoff kann bei 30°C in der
Waschmaschine gewaschen werden.
Die Prefitt- bzw. Vakupor-Unterlage wird mit einer harten
Bürste und Druckluft gesäubert.
The impeller has to be cleaned two or three times a year
depending on the soiling on the impeller blades.
Dust, threads and chemicals can substantially reduce the
strength of the suction; they may also unbalance the
impeller.
Warning: Disconnect the mains plug before doing
maintenance work!
The motor can be removed with the impeller when
cleaning the impeller.
Please take care that the blades of the impeller will not be
damaged!
The cover must be cleaned or replaced after 40 working
hours or after 4 weeks at the latest.
The cover and the foam can be washed in the washing
machine at 30°C.
The Prefitt or Vakupor-layer is cleaned with a hard brush
and compressed air.
