BESCHRIJVING
Mini 1-kanaals wisselrelaismodule (voor standalone en Velbus werking).
GEBRUIK EN CONFIGURATIE
De VMB1RYS kan gebruikt worden als een standalone wisselrelais (met een externe
ingang voor het schakelen van het relais), of als onderdeel van een Velbus-systeem (1
relais, 4 virtuele relais, en 1 drukknopkanaal).
A. Standalone modus (standaardinstelling)
Standaard is de VMB1RYS ingesteld in standalone modus. In standalone modus stuurt
een knop die is aangesloten op de externe ingang het relais rechtstreeks aan. Selecteer
de bedrijfsmodus (toggle of drukknop) met de MODE/TERM-schakelaar aan de
achterkant (zie instructies op de modulesticker). In toggle-modus zal de externe ingang
het relais in een ON-OFF modus aansturen (telkens de ingang gesloten wordt, zal het
relais van open naar gesloten schakelen en vice versa). In drukknopmodus zal de
externe ingang het relais in een (ON)-OFF-modus aansturen (alleen als de ingang
gesloten is, is het relais ook gesloten, anders blijft het open).
STATUS LED:
•uit: NO open, NC gesloten
•aan: NO gesloten, NC open
•3 maal knipperen, pauze, 3 maal knipperen, enz: voedingsspanning te laag
PS LED: voedingsspanning gedetecteerd
Rx –Tx LEDS: niet van toepassing
B. Velbus-modus
Om de VMB1RYS te gebruiken als onderdeel van een Velbus systeem, sluit deze aan op
een Velbus-buskabel met minstens één andere Velbus-module en configureer deze met
de Velbus-configuratiesoftware VelbusLink. (Voor meer informatie over het Velbus-
systeem, raadpleeg www.velbus.eu.) Door het elektronische adres van de VMB1RYS te
wijzigen van FF(HEX)/255(DEC) naar een andere geldige waarde (01-253 DEC), wordt de
Velbus-modus geactiveerd. In Velbus-modus stuurt de externe ingang niet langer
rechtstreeks het relais aan, maar kunnen beide worden geconfigureerd met behulp van
de Velbus-configuratiesoftware VelbusLink. In Velbus-modus selecteert de
MODE/TEMP-schakelaar aan de achterkant de positie van de CAN-busafsluiter (open of
gesloten).
Om de VMB1RYS terug naar de standalone modus te schakelen, reset het elektronische
adres naar FF(HEX)/255(DEC) met behulp van de Velbus-configuratiesoftware
VelbusLink.

DESCRIPTION
Module relais miniature à 1 canal avec contact inverseur (pour fonctionnement Velbus et
autonome).
EMPLOI ET CONFIGURATION
Le VMB1RYS peut être utilisé comme relais inverseur autonome (avec une entrée externe
pour la commutation du relais), ou comme partie d'un système Velbus (1 relais, 4 relais
virtuels et 1 canal bouton-poussoir).
A. Mode autonome (réglage par défaut)
Par défaut, le VMB1RYS est en mode autonome. En mode autonome, un bouton
connecté à l'entrée externe contrôle directement le relais. Sélectionnez le mode de
fonctionnement (commutation ou bouton-poussoir) avec le commutateur MODE/TERM
situé à l'arrière (voir les instructions sur l'autocollant du module). En mode de
commutation, l'entrée externe contrôle le relais en mode ON-OFF (à chaque fois que
l'entrée est fermée, le relais passe de l'état ouvert à l'état fermé et vice versa). En mode
'bouton-poussoir', l'entrée externe contrôle le relais en mode (ON)-OFF (uniquement
lorsque l'entrée est fermée, le relais est également fermé, sinon il reste ouvert).
LED D'ÉTAT:
•éteinte: NO ouvert, NC fermé
•allumée: NO fermé, NC ouvert

B. Mode Velbus
Pour utiliser le VMB1RYS comme partie d'un système Velbus, connectez-le à un câble
Velbus avec au moins un autre module Velbus et configurez-le à l'aide du logiciel de
configuration VelbusLink de Velbus. (Pour plus d'informations sur le système Velbus,
consultez www.velbus.eu.) En changeant l'adresse électronique du VMB1RYS de
FF(HEX)/255(DEC) à toute autre valeur valide (01-253 DEC), le mode Velbus est activé. .
En mode Velbus, l'entrée externe ne contrôle plus directement le relais, mais les deux
peuvent être configurés à l'aide du logiciel de configuration VelbusLink de Velbus. En
mode Velbus, le commutateur MODE/TEMP situé à l'arrière sélectionne la position de
terminaison du bus CAN (ouvert ou fermé).
Pour remettre le VMB1RYS en mode autonome, réinitialisez l'adresse électronique à
FF(HEX)/255(DEC) à l'aide du logiciel de configuration VelbusLink de Velbus.

DESCRIPTION
Mini single-channel changeover relay module (for stand-alone and Velbus operation).
USAGE AND CONFIGURATION
The VMB1RYS can be used as a stand-alone changeover relay (with an external input for
switching the relay), or as part of a Velbus system (1 relay, 4 virtual relays, and 1
pushbutton channel).
A. Stand-Alone Mode (factory default)
By factory default, the VMB1RYS is in stand-alone mode. In stand-alone mode, a button
connected to the external input directly controls the relay. Select the operation mode
(toggle or pushbutton) using the MODE/TERM switch on the back (see instructions on
the module sticker). In “toggle” mode, the external input will control the relay in an ON-
OFF mode (each time the input is closed, the relay will switch from open to closed and
vice versa). In “pushbutton” mode, the external input will control the relay in an (ON)-
OFF mode (only while the input is closed, the relay is closed too, otherwise it remains
open).
STATUS LED:
•off: NO open, NC closed
•on: NO closed, NC open
•3 flashes, pause, 3 flashes, etc.: supply voltage too low
PS LED: supply voltage detected
Rx-Tx LED: not applicable
B. Velbus Mode
To use the VMB1RYS as part of a Velbus system, connect it to a Velbus bus cable with at
least one other Velbus module and configure it using the Velbus configuration software
VelbusLink. (For more information on the Velbus system, go to www.velbus.eu.) By
changing the VMB1RYS’s electronic address from FF(HEX)/255(DEC) to any other valid
value (01-253 DEC), Velbus mode is activated. In Velbus mode, the external input no
longer directly controls the relay, but instead both can be configured using the Velbus
configuration software VelbusLink. In Velbus mode, the MODE/TEMP switch on the back
selects the position of the CAN bus terminator (open or closed).
To return the VMB1RYS to standalone mode, reset the electronic address to
FF(HEX)/255(DEC) using the Velbus configuration software VelbusLink.
STATUS LED:
•off: NO open, NC closed
•on: NO closed, NC open
•slow flashing: timer is running
•2 flashes, pause, 2 flashes, etc: communication error
•3 flashes, pause, 3 flashes, etc.: supply voltage too low
PS LED: supply voltage detected
Rx LED: CAN bus package received
Tx LED: CAN bus package sent

ANWENDUNG UND KONFIGURATION
Das VMB1RYS kann entweder als Stand-alone-Wechsler (mit einem externen Eingang
zum Schalten vom Relais), oder als Teil eines Velbus-Systems (1 Relais, 4 virtuelle Relais
und 1 Druckknopf Kanal) verwendet werden.
A. Stand-alone-Modus (Werkseinstellung)
Das VMB1RYS befindet sich im Stand-alone-Modus. Im Stand-alone-Modus steuert eine
am externen Eingang angeschlossene Taste das Relais direkt an. Wählen Sie den
Betriebsmodus (Schalt oder Druckknopf) mit dem MODE/TERM-Schalter auf der
Rückseite (siehe Hinweise auf dem Modulaufkleber). Im 'Schalt'-Modus wird der externe
Eingang das Relais in ON-OFF-Modus ansteuern (jedes Mal, wenn der Eingang
geschlossen wird, schaltet das Relais von offen auf geschlossen und vice versa). Im
'Druckknopf'-Modus wird der externe Eingang das Relais in (ON)-OFF-Modus ansteuern
(nur wenn der Eingang geschlossen ist, ist das Relais auch geschlossen, sonst bleibt es
offen).
STATUS-LED:
•aus: NO offen, NC geschlossen
•ein: NO geschlossen, NC offen
•3 Mal blinken, Pause, 3 Mal blinken usw.: Betriebsspannung zu niedrig
PS-LED: Betriebsspannung gefunden

B. Velbus-Modus
Wollen Sie das VMB1RYS als Teil eines Velbus-Systems verwenden, dann schließen Sie
es an ein Velbus-Buskabel mit mindestens einem anderen Velbus-Modul an und
konfigurieren Sie es mit der Velbus-Konfigurationssoftware VelbusLink. (Mehr
Informationen über das Velbus-System finden Sie hier: www.velbus.eu.). Indem Sie die
elektronische Adresse vom VMB1RYS ändern von FF(HEX)/255(DEC) in einen anderen
gültigen Wert (01-253 DEC), wird der Velbus-Modus aktiviert. Im Velbus-Modus steuert
der externe Eingang das Relais nicht mehr direkt an, sondern können beide mit der
Velbus-Konfigurationssoftware VelbusLink konfiguriert werden. Im Velbus-Modus wählt
der MODE/TEMP-Schalter auf der Rückseite die Position der CAN-Busterminierung
(offen ode geschossen).
Um den Stand-alone-Modus wieder zu einzuschalten, stellen Sie die elektronische
Adresse mit der Velbus-Konfigurationssoftware VelbusLink wieder auf
FF(HEX)/255(DEC).
