VWS2 – VIDEO WEB SERVER
1. Introduction & Features
Thank you for buying the VWS2! Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service.
If the device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer. The VWS2 comes with a manual, an
accessories pack (with RS485 connector), an adapter and a crossover LAN cable.

2. Rear Panel, Top Panel and Connections
Rear panel (fig. 1)
1. LAN: Connect the VWS2 to the internet or LAN or directly to a PC with the enclosed cable.
2. Video Input (2 channels): to connect to a video source.
3. Alarm I/O (for advanced applications - see §8 and further).
4. POWER: Connect the supplied power adapter (12V/1.25A).
Bottom panel: RESET button: to restore the default settings.
Top panel (fig. 2)
5. Network LED: when lit, the network is normal
6. System LED: when it blinks, the system is normal.
The figure to the right shows the possibilities to connect/control the VWS2:
- A camera can be connected to the VWS2, with a DVR/ quad or not.
- The VWS2 can be controlled directly by a PC, by a PC over the intranet
(LAN) or by a PC over the internet.
!The enclosed LAN cable is a crossover cable. It is possible your
configuration requires a straight through cable. If so, please purchase it from your local computer store.
3. Software Installation and Update
!! The software is compatible only with Windows OS: WIN2000, 2003 and XP. 98 or ME are not recommended.
Insert the enclosed CD in your CD-ROM drive, the installation will start automatically. The icons below will appear.
The procedure below can also be used to install your software.
1. Connect the VWS2 (fig.1 #1) to your PC/notebook by means of the
enclosed LAN cable and switch your PC and the VWS2 on.
2. Click Start (> Settings) > Control Panel (> Network and Internet Connections) > Network Connections, double
click 'Local Area Connection', click 'Properties' , select 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)' and click 'Properties'.
3. Write down the original settings in order to restore them after the setup.
4. Set the IP address to "192.168.1.xxx" (xxx = 002 to 254 ; NOT 010!). Set the Subnet mask to "255.255.255.0".
5. If applicable: click Start (> Settings) > Control Panel > 'Network and Internet Connections'/'Internet options' (> Set
up or change Internet connection), select the 'Connections' tab and click 'LAN settings' > disable Proxy Server.
6. Open your browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape etc.) and enter the IP address (192.168.1.10) in the address line
and press ENTER. Click "Download Windows AP" to download the application program and save it to your HDD.
7. Double click 'setup.exe" and the application program will automatically be installed on your PC.
The five files above will appear in the file folder.

4. Static IP Setting
1. Connect the VWS2 (LAN connection - fig.1 #1) to your PC/notebook by means of the enclosed LAN cable and
switch your PC and the VWS2 on.
2. Click Start (> Settings) > Control Panel (> Network and Internet Connections) > Network Connections, double
click 'Local Area Connection', click 'Properties' , select 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)' and click 'Properties'.
3. Write down the original settings in order to restore them after the setup.
4. Set the IP address to "192.168.1.xxx" (xxx = 002 to 254 ; NOT 010!). Set the Subnet mask to "255.255.255.0".
5. If applicable: click Start (> Settings) > Control Panel > 'Network and Internet Connections'/'Internet options' (> Set
up or change Internet connection), select the 'Connections' tab and click 'LAN settings' > disable Proxy Server.
6. To configure the server IP, double click the "Video web server" icon, click 'SEARCH', select the unit and click 'OK'.
7. Enter user name, password (both default "admin") and click OK to connect.
8. When you see the control bar, you have successfully logged into the Video Web Server application program.
Click "System Config" to set up the Network setting.
Get your IP address from your internet service provider.
To add a new user, go to the 'Account' tab page and click "Add".
The maximum length of a user name or password is 15 characters.
The user levels are:
SUPERVISOR: control all functions
USER LEVEL: control advanced functions
GUEST LEVEL: control basic functions only
After the setup, click "Apply" to confirm the information.
9. Connect the VWS2 (fig. p.1 #1) with the ADSL or cable modem to allow operation from the internet.
5. Connect via the Internet
1. Double click the "Video web server" icon.
2. Enter user name, password and IP address (the ones you entered in §4 #8) and click OK to connect.
You can use the 'Address Book' button to choose a user name etc. used earlier.
3. When you see the control bar and a video image, you have successfully logged in.

When the video source is a DVR, the following control interface will also appear:
(Refer to §10 for info on how to connect a DVR to your VWS2.)

When the record button is pressed, a file is created on the desktop, in which the recorded video is saved. One such
file is limited to 6000 frames. If one file reaches its limit, a second file is automatically created and also placed on the
desktop. When there is less than 200MB available on the HDD, the program will automatically stop recording.

8. Advanced Settings
Click 'System Config' for the advanced settings:
1. Network setting: check with your network administrator or Internet service provider.
Web port: port used to control the VWS2
Mac: the equipment's physical address
IP type: this device only supports static IP address ; to use a
dynamic IP, a router is needed.
2. Mail setting: upon an alarm trigger, the video server will e-mail the current picture to the assigned recipients.
If the password needs not to be verified, set 'Verify Password" to
'No'.
Also see "10. c. Send E-mail" on p.8.
3. FTP settings: upon an alarm trigger, the VWS2 will upload the current picture to the assigned FTP site.
The default uploading port is #21.
4. Account Management: add/remove users (max. 6) and set authority.
User levels:
SUPERVISOR: control all functions
USER LEVEL: control advanced functions
GUEST LEVEL: control basic functions only
Life time: you can set a period during which the user is allowed to
control the VWS2.

5. Peripheral settings:
See also "10. RS485 Connection" on p.8.
For each input channel, you can select the source type, determine the
Baud Rate and assign an ID number to the device.
6. Recording settings: to modify the storing path for recording files and snapshot images.
7. Toolbox: to upgrade the firmware and get the online user's information
!Do not reboot the VWS2 while it is upgrading the firmware.
"Firmware Version" displays the current firmware version. Press 'Find'
to search for an upgrade and click 'Upgrade Firmware' to install it.
'Info refresh' can be clicked to refresh the online users' information.
8. Alarm configuration: to operate the "alarm trigger recording" function.
'Post image number': select how many images need to be stored
when the alarm is triggered.
'Alarm duration': set the alarm duration time
'Alarm record': enable or disable the alarm recording function
"Alarm refresh": to clear the alarm message if it is still on the screen.
9. Dynamic IP Setting
a. Router Setting
The values vary from router to router - first read its manual.
1. Connect PC and router to the VWS2 and switch everything on.
2. Click Start (> Settings) > Control Panel (> Network and Internet
Connections) > Network Connections, double click 'Local Area
Connection', click 'Properties' , select 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)'
and click 'Properties'. Select "Obtain an IP address automatically".
3. Confirm and close the open windows. Open your browser and enter the default IP address (192.168.123.254) in
the address line. Then enter the login web page and enter the default password "admin" (on the left).

4. Click Basic Setting > Primary Setup > Change and change the router internet setting.
Choose "PPP over Ethernet" and click "Save" > "Reboot".
5. Select Basic Setting > DHCP Server and activate DHCP SERVER. Set up "STARTING" and "ENDING
ADDRESS" and click "Save" > "Reboot".
6. Select Forwarding Rules > Virtual Server, enter "80" as port for VWS2 and click "Save" > "Reboot".

7. Select Advanced Setting > Dynamic DNS and setup "DDNS". Click "Save" > "Reboot" > LOG OUT.
b. Apply DDNS
1. Open your browser, connect to "http://www.dyndns.org" and click "ACCOUNT" > "CREATE ACCOUNT".
2. Register the information and click "Dynamic DNS"(add host)
3. The user can set up his own DDNS host. For example the user's Host name is "avtechtestdvr.dynalias.org". Then
click "Add host" to finish the setup.

10. RS-485 Connection
a. Connector Layout
PIN 1 & 6 (RS-485A & B): serial communication lines to control digital
video devices like the DVR1A, DVR4QA, DVR4MQA and DVR16M.
PIN 4, 7, 8, 9 (ALARM INPUTs): receive the alarm input to trigger the
VWS2 to send mail to the users (e-mail warning system).
PIN 5 (GND): ground
PIN 2,3 (NORMAL HIGH / LOW): to trigger an external device.
b. Remote Control DVRs
1. Establish the connection with a DVR device as follows:
2. On the DVR devices: If there is a 'REMOTE' section in the main menu, select it, if not, the 'remote' data are on the
'SYSTEM' screen.
Set 'REMOTE MODE' to RS-485, set 'BAUD RATE' to 'selectable' and set 'ID' as you set it on the VWS2.
3. Set these "Peripheral" settings in the system configuration of the VWS2:
c. Send e-mail
1. Connect the sub-D plug of the VWS2 to the COM/NO ports of a sensor.

2. Set the Mail Settings in the system configuration as follows:
NOTE: all necessary data can be obtained from your internet or mail
provider (POP3/SMTP server).
When the alarm is triggered, the alarm icon will appear above the displayed image as shown below:
11. FAQ
1. I do not have a network or internet connection. Can I still use the VWS2?
Yes, you can connect the VWS2 directly to your PC or notebook for remote control and video storage purposes.
2. Can I use ISDN to connect to the VWS2?
No ; the VWS2 can only be connected via ADSL or cable modem. It does not support ISDN connection.
However, a router that supports ISDN, RJ-45 and port forwarding, can be used with the VWS2.
3. What kind of frame rate can be expected?
This depends on the bandwidth and the average image size.
The formula to calculate the frame rate is: bandwidth / (8 x average image size) = number of images per second.
The average image size is: CIF: low=6Kb ; middle=9Kb ; high=12Kb ; VGA: low=24Kb ; middle=36Kb ; high=48Kb
Example: at a 512Kbs bandwidth and low CIF image quality (1 image = 6kb),
the frame rate is: 512 / (8x6) = 512 / 48 = 10.6 images/second.

VWS2 – VIDEO WEBSERVER
1. Inleiding en kenmerken
Dank u voor uw aankoop! Lees deze handleiding grondig voor u het toestel in gebruik neemt. Als het toestel werd
beschadigd tijdens het transport, installeer het dan niet en raadpleeg uw dealer.
De VWS2 wordt geleverd met een handleiding, een zakje toebehoren (met RS485 connector), een adapter en een
gekruiste LAN-kabel.

•Ondersteuning voor dynamische IP adressen

2. Achterzijde, bovenzijde en aansluitingen
Achterzijde (fig.1)
1. LAN: sluit de VWS2 aan op het Internet of LAN of direct op een PC met de meegeleverde kabel.
2. Video-ingang (2 kanalen): om een videobron aan te sluiten.
3. Alarm I/O (voor speciale toepassingen - zie §8 en verder)
4. POWER: verbind de meegeleverde stroomadapter (12V/1.25A).
Onderzijde: RESET: om te standaardinstellingen te herstellen
Bovenzijde (fig.2)
5. NetwerkLED: wanneer deze oplicht, is het netwerk normaal
6. SysteemLED: wanneer deze knippert, werkt het systeem normaal.
De figuur rechts toont hoe u de VWS2 kunt aansluiten/besturen:
- U kunt een camera aansluiten op de VWS2, met of zonder DVR/ quad.
- De VWS2 kan door een PC bestuurd worden via een directe kabel, via het
intranet (LAN) of via het Internet.
!De meegeleverde LAN-kabel is een gekruiste kabel. In sommige omgevingen
is een rechte kabel vereist. Is dit het geval, koop deze dan in uw plaatselijke computerzaak.
3. Software installeren
!! De software is enkel compatibel met de Windows OS: WIN2000, WIN2003 en XP. 98 of ME is niet aanbevolen.
Plaats de meegeleverde cd in uw cd-romspeler ; de installatie start automatisch. De vijf iconen hieronder verschijnen.
De software kan ook worden geïnstalleerd met de procedure hieronder.
1. Sluit de VWS2 (fig.1 #1) aan op uw PC/notebook door middel van de
meegeleverde LAN-kabel en schakel uw PC en de VWS2 aan.
2. Klik Start (> Settings) > Control Panel (> Network and Internet Connections) > Network Connections, dubbelklik
op 'Local Area Connection', klik 'Properties' , selecteer 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)' en klik op 'Properties'.
3. Noteer de oorspronkelijke instellingen om deze na de installatie terug te kunnen invoeren.
4. Zet het IP-adres op "192.168.1.xxx" (xxx = 002 tot 254 ; NIET 010). Zet het Subnet mask op "255.255.255.0".
5. Zo nodig: klik op Start (> Settings) > Control Panel > 'Network and Internet Connections'/'Internet options' (> Set
up or change Internet connection), selecteer de 'Connections' tab en klik op 'LAN settings' > disable Proxy Server.
6. Open uw browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape etc.), tik het IP-adres in (192.168.1.10) in de adresbalk en druk op
ENTER. Klik "Download Windows AP" om het stuurprogramma te downloaden en bewaar het op uw harde schijf.
7. Dubbelklik op 'setup.exe' en het stuurprogramma zal automatisch worden geïnstalleerd op uw PC.
De vijf hierboven getoonde iconen zullen verschijnen in uw file folder.

4. Statische IP instellen
1. Sluit de VWS2 (LAN-aansluiting - fig.1 #1) aan op uw PC/notebook door middel van de meegeleverde LAN-kabel
en schakel uw PC en de VWS2 aan.
2. Klik Start (> Settings) > Control Panel (> Network and Internet Connections) > Network Connections, dubbelklik
op 'Local Area Connection', klik 'Properties' , selecteer 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)' en klik op 'Properties'.
3. Noteer de oorspronkelijke instellingen om deze na de installatie terug te kunnen invoeren.
4. Zet het IP-adres op "192.168.1.xxx" (xxx = 002 tot 254 ; NIET 010). Zet het Subnet mask op "255.255.255.0".
5. Zo nodig: klik op Start (> Settings) > Control Panel > 'Network and Internet Connections'/'Internet options' (> Set
up or change Internet connection), selecteer de 'Connections' tab en klik op 'LAN settings' > disable Proxy Server.
6. Om de IP-server in te stellen: dubbelklik op "Video web server", klik 'SEARCH', selecteer het toestel en klik 'OK'.
7. Geef uw gebruikersnaam en paswoord (beide standaard "admin") in en klik op OK om verbinding te maken.
8. Wanneer u de bedieningsbalk ziet, heeft u succesvol aangelogd op het Video Web Server stuurprogramma.
Klik op "System Config" om de netwerkinstellingen te regelen.
Vraag uw IP-adres aan uw Internet service provider.
Om een nieuwe gebruiker toe te voegen, klikt u op "Account Management".
De maximumlengte van een gebruikersnaam is 15 karakters.
De gebruiksniveaus ("user levels") zijn:
SUPERVISOR: controle over alle functies
USER LEVEL: controle over de geavanceerde functies
GUEST LEVEL: controle over de basisfuncties
Nadat u de nodige gegevens heb ingegeven/gewijzigd, klikt u op "Apply" om de gegevens te bevestigen.
9. Verbind de VWS2 (fig.1 #1) met de ADSL- of kabelmodem om deze te kunnen bedienen van op het Internet.
5. Aanloggen via het Internet
1. Dubbelklik op het "Video web server"-icoon.
2. Geef gebruikersnaam, paswoord en IP-adres in (die die u in §4 #8 hebt ingegeven) en klik op OK om aan te
loggen. U kan ook op de 'Adresboek'-knop klikken om een eerder gebruikte gebruikersnaam etc. te kiezen.
3. Wanneer u de bedieningsbalk en een videobeeld ziet, heeft u succesvol aangelogd.

Wanneer de videobron een DVR is, zal de volgende bedieningsbalk ook verschijnen:

Wanneer de opnameknop wordt ingedrukt, wordt er een bestand gecreëerd op de desktop waarin de opgenomen
beelden worden bewaard. Eén dergelijk bestand kan maximum 6000 frames bevatten. Als een bestand die limiet
bereikt, wordt er automatisch een tweede bestand gecreëerd dat ook op de desktop wordt geplaatst. Wanneer er op
de harde schijf geen 200MB meer beschikbaar is, zal het programma automatisch de opname stoppen.
7. Weergavescherm
Dit scherm wordt getoond wanneer er een bestand met video-opnames op de desktop wordt bekeken.

8. Speciale instellingen
Klik op 'System Config' voor de geavanceerde instellingen:
1. Netwerkinstelling: contacteer hiervoor uw netwerkbeheerder of Internet provider.
Web port: poort die wordt gebruikt om de VWS2 aan te sturen
Mac: het fysieke adres van het apparaat
IP type: dit toestel ondersteunt enkel statische IP-adressen ; om
een dynamisch IP-adres te gebruiken heeft u een router nodig.
2. Mailinstelling: na een alarmmelding zal de VWS2 het huidige beeld naar de opgegeven adressen doormailen.
Om zonder paswoordbeveiliging te werken stelt u 'Verify Password"
in op 'No'.
Zie ook "10. c. Send E-mail" op blz.17.
3. FTP instelling: na een alarmmelding zal de VWS2 het huidige beeld naar de opgegeven FTP-site sturen.
De standaard poortinstelling is #21.
4. Accountbeheer: gebruikers toevoegen/verwijderen (max. 6) en profiel instellen.

Life time: u kunt instellen gedurende welke periode de gebruiker de
VWS2 kan/mag bedienen.

5. Instelling randapparatuur:
Zie ook "10. RS485 Aansluiting" op blz.17.
U kunt voor elke ingangskanaal de bron selecteren, de
transmissiesnelheid bepalen en een identificatienummer voor het
toestel ingeven.
6. Opname-instellingen: u kunt zelf bepalen waar opnames en eenmalige opnames (snapshot) worden opgeslagen.
7. Toolbox: om upgrades van de firmware te installeren en gebruikersinformatie te zien
!Start de VWS2 niet opnieuw op tijdens een firmware-upgrade.
"Firmware Version" toont welke de huidige firmware versie is. Druk op
'Find' om te zoeken naar een upgrade en klik op 'Upgrade Firmware'
om deze te installeren.
Klik op 'Info refresh' om de info over online gebruikers te vernieuwen.
8. Alarminstellingen: voor de alarmopname-functie.
'Post image number': selecter hoeveel beelden er moeten worden
opgeslagen wanneer er een alarm is.
'Alarm duration': stel in hoe lang een alarm moet duren
'Alarm record': schakel de Alarmopname-functie in of uit
"Alarm refresh": om de melding te wissen als deze nog op het scherm
staat.
9. Dynamische IP instelling
a. Routerinstelling
De te gebruiken waarden variëren van router tot router - lees eerst de
handleiding van de router.
1. Sluit een PC en router aan op de VWS2 en schakel alles aan.
2. Klik op Start (> Settings) > Control Panel (> Network and Internet
Connections) > Network Connections, dubbelklik op 'Local Area Connection' en klik op 'Properties' , selecteer
'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)' and click 'Properties'. Select "Obtain an IP address automatically".
3. Bevestig en sluit alle open windows. Open uw browser en tik het standaardadres (192.168.123.254) in op de
adresbalk. Log dan in op de login webpagina en geef het standaard paswoord "admin" in (links).

4. Klik op Basic Setting > Primary Setup > Change en verander de internetinstelling van de router.
Selecteer "PPP over Ethernet" en klik "Save" > "Reboot".
5. Selecteer Basic Setting > DHCP Server en activeer DHCP SERVER. Stel "STARTING" en "ENDING ADDRESS"
in en klik "Save" > "Reboot".

1. Open uw browser, ga naar "http://www.dyndns.org" en klik "ACCOUNT" > "CREATE ACCOUNT".
2. Registreer de informatie en klik op "Dynamic DNS"(add host)

10. RS-485 aansluiting

PIN 1 & 6 (RS-485A & B): seriële communicatielijnen voor digitale

1. Ik heb geen netwerk of internetverbinding. Kan ik toch de VWS2 gebruiken?
Ja, u kan de VWS2 direct op uw PC of notebook aansluiten en zo alles bedienen en bewaren.
2. Kan ik via ISDN in verbinding treden met de VWS2?
Neen ; de VWS2 kan enkel aangesloten worden via ADSL of een kabelmodem. ISDN wordt niet ondersteund.
Evenwel kan een router die ISDN, RJ-45 en 'port forwarding' ondersteunt, wél gebruikt worden met de VWS2.
3. Welke beeldfrequentie kan ik verwachten?
Dit hangt af van de bandbreedte en de gemiddelde beeldgrootte.
Om de frequentie te berekenen: bandbreedte / (8 x gemiddelde beeldgrootte) = aantal beelden per seconde.
Gemiddelde beeldgrootte: CIF: laag=6Kb ; middel=9Kb ; hoog=12Kb ; VGA: laag=24Kb ; middel=36Kb ; hoog=48Kb
Voorbeeld: bij een bandbreedte van 512Kbs en een lage CIF beeldkwaliteit (1 beeld = 6kb)
is de beeldfrequentie: 512 / (8x6) = 512 / 48 = 10.6 beelden/seconde.

VWS2 – SERVEUR WEB VIDEO
1. Introduction et caractéristiques
Nous vous remercions de votre achat ! Lisez le présent manuel attentivement avant la mise en service de l'appareil.
Si l’appareil a été endommagé pendant le transport, ne l'installez pas et consultez votre revendeur. Le VWS2 est livré
avec cette notice, un pack d'accessoires (avec connecteur RS485), un adaptateur et un câble RLE croisé.

2. Panneau arrière, panneau supérieur et connexions
Panneau arrière (fig.1)
1. LAN: Connectez le VWS2 à l'Internet, au RLE (LAN) ou directement à un ordinateur avec le câble inclus.
2. Entrée vidéo (2 canaux): pour connecter une source vidéo.
3. 'Alarm I/O '(pour applications avancées - voir §8 et infra).
4. POWER: connectez l'adaptateur inclus (12V/1.25A).

5. LED réseau: quand la LED est allumée, le réseau est normal

La figure à droite montre les possibilités pour connecter/commander le VWS2:
- Une caméra peut être connectée au VWS2, avec un DVR/ quad ou non.
- Le VWS2 peut être commandé directement par un ordinateur, par un
ordinateur via l'intranet (RLE - LAN) ou par un ordinateur via l'Internet.
!Le câble RLE inclus est un câble croisé. Dans certains environnements, un
câble droit est requis. Dans ce cas, veuillez l'acheter dans le magasin informatique local.
3. Installation du logiciel
!! Le logiciel est uniquement compatible avec WIN2000, 2003 et XP. 98 ou ME ne sont pas recommandés.
Insérez le cd inclus dans votre ordinateur pour une installation automatique. Les icônes ci-dessous apparaissent.
La procédure ci-dessous sert également à installer le logiciel.
1. Connectez le VWS2 (fig.1 #1) à votre ordinateur au moyen
du câble RLE inclus et allumez votre ordinateur et le VWS2.
2. Cliquez Start (> Settings) > Control Panel (> Network and Internet Connections) > Network Connections, double-
cliquez 'Local Area Connection', cliquez 'Properties', sélectionnez 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)' et cliquez 'Properties'.
3. Notez les réglages originaux pour pouvoir les remettre après l'initialisation.
4. Mettez l'adresse IP sur "192.168.1.xxx" (xxx = 002 à 254 ; PAS 010). Le 'Subnet mask' doit être "255.255.255.0".
5. Si applicable: cliquez Start (> Settings) > Control Panel > 'Network and Internet Connections'/'Internet options' (>
Set up or change Internet connection), sur la page 'Connections': cliquez 'LAN settings' > disable Proxy Server.
6. Ouvrez votre navigateur Internet, entrez l'adresse IP (192.168.1.10) dans la ligne d'adresse et pressez ENTER.
Cliquez "Download Windows AP" et sauvegardez le programme de gestion sur votre disque dur.
7. Double-cliquez sur 'setup.exe" et le programme de gestion sera automatiquement installé sur votre ordinateur.
Les 5 fichiers ci-dessus apparaîtront sur votre ordinateur.

4. Réglage IP statique
1. Connectez le VWS2 (connexion RLE-LAN - fig.1 #1) à votre ordinateur au moyen du câble RLE inclus et allumez
votre ordinateur et le VWS2.
2. Cliquez Start (> Settings) > Control Panel (> Network and Internet Connections) > Network Connections, double-
cliquez 'Local Area Connection', cliquez 'Properties', sélectionnez 'Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)' et cliquez 'Properties'.
3. Notez les réglages originaux pour pouvoir les remettre après l'initialisation.
4. Mettez l'adresse IP sur "192.168.1.xxx" (xxx = 002 à 254 ; PAS 010). Le 'Subnet mask' doit être "255.255.255.0".

7. Entrez le nom de l'utilisateur, le mot de passe (tous les deux "admin") et cliquez OK pour établir la connexion.
8. Quand vous voyez la barre de gestion, le programme de gestion est opérationnel.
Cliquez sur "System Config" pour régler l'initialisation du réseau (network).
Obtenez votre adresse IP de votre fournisseur de services Internet.
Pour ajouter un nouvel utilisateur, cliquez sur "Account Management".
La longueur maximale d'un nom d'utilisateur ou d'un mot de passe est de 15 caractères.
Les niveaux d'utilisation sont:
SUPERVISOR: gestion de toutes les fonctions
USER LEVEL: gestion des fonctions avancées
GUEST LEVEL: gestion des fonctions de base uniquement
Après l'initialisation, cliquez sur "Apply" pour confirmer les informations.
9. Connectez le VWS2 (fig. p.1 #1) avec le modem ADSL ou de câble pour permettre la gestion via l'Internet.
5. Connecter d'un site à distance
1. Double-cliquez sur l'icône "Video web server".
2. Entrez le nom de l'utilisateur, le mot de passe et l'adresse IP (les mêmes que dans §4 #8) et cliquez sur OK pour
connecter. Vous pouvez utiliser le bouton 'Address Book' pour choisir un nom etc. qui a déjà été utilisé avant.
3. Quand vous voyez la barre de gestion et une image vidéo, le programme de gestion est opérationnel.
