CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Turn o the appliance before servicing or cleaning.
IMPORTANT!
• Remove all protective wrappings, before use.
• There shall be adequate ventilation of the room when the range hood is used at the same time as
appliances burning gas or other fuels.
• Never use the range hood without the lters in place.
• Never use abrasive or oil based cleaners.
The range hood should be cleaned regularly using a mild, liquid detergent and a clean soft cloth
to avoid a build-up of grease occurring. Avoid the use of corrosive chemicals, abrasive cleaning
products, hard brushes and steel wool pads. Grease deposits are corrosive which can cause damage
to your range hood.
Note: in areas of high humidity or coastal environments, cleaning should be carried out more
frequently.
Removing the aluminium lters
1. Lower the central plaque to reveal lters.
2. Pull the relative catch, tilting the lter downwards until it disengages from the supports.
3. Reverse these instructions when retting the lters.
Cleaning Aluminium lters
• Depending on use, but at least every 3 months, the aluminium grease lter should be removed
and cleaned with hot soapy water or in a dishwasher.
• If washed in a dishwasher, the lter should be placed in an upright position to prevent food from
falling on it.
• After rinsing and drying, ret the lters.
Note: some discolouration of the frames may occur.
