DIMENSIONS
|Connect 1-2 cameras or POE / non-POE
devices to the RJ45 ports.
| 57V DC power to the HIGHWIRE Powerstar
Base unit is recommended, giving typically 25
watts of total camera power budget.
APPLICATION DIAGRAM
POE OVER COAX
|Connecting 57V DC power directly to the
Duo unit increases the POE power available
if required.
|The VPSU-57V-800 supply supports 40
watts of total camera power and the VPSU
57V-1500 supports 78 watts.
APPLICATION DIAGRAM
LOCAL POWER SUPPLY
| Total camera power budget using a POE
switch is typically 8 watts (802.3af) or 18
watts (802.3at). Refer to the power budget
table in the datasheet.
Note | The LED indicated power is the total
limit and remains constant.
|No POE is sent over the coax, so a
HIGHWIRE VHW-HW powered by 12V
may be used at the base side.
