Wireless Thermostat
Digital Room Thermostat for the BCM:Connect

The BCM:Connect (BCM) and Wireless Thermostat
should only be installed by a competent person.

The Wireless Thermostat is intended for internal use
only and requires a BCM to operate.
The Wireless Thermostat has a range of 120m in an
open space from the receiver.
The Receiver should be installed next to the BCM.
The Wireless Thermostat is designed to work with the
BCM:Connect

Installation
The thermostat is to be installed during the installation
of the BCM:Connect.
If your BCM:Connect is already installed, re-scan the QR code and follow
the online portal through to reinstall the device with the Thermostat ena-
bled
1. Ensure the mains supply is isolated
ALWAYS ISOLATE THE MAINS

Installation
7. Once the BCM is installed, put batteries in the ther-
mostat
8. Next, the receiver and thermostat will need pairing
A) Hold the top button down on the receiver
until the top LED is ashing quickly
B) Hold down the dial on the thermostat until a
the code shows on the screen
C) Rotate the dial on the thermostat so the code
ashes
D) Wait for the signal icon to appear in the top
right corner of the thermostat screen
(This can take up to ve minutes in some cases)
Once paired, the upper LED on the receiver should be
slowly ashing, and the lower LED should be on and
not ashing
8. Wall mount the thermostat in a suitable place using
the clip on bracket provided.
(Ensure the thermostat is within the signal range using the
signal indicator bars on the screen)
Troubleshooting
The Thermostat will not work unless the BCM is fully
installed and working.
The Thermostat will not work unless the link wire is
installed (as specied in step 2)
If the Thermostat and Receiver will not pair after mul-
tiple tries, follow the instructions on the user manual
to perform a factory reset on the devices.

2. Remove any existing thermostats and add a link
wire into the room stat connections on the boiler
3. Remove the cover on the receiver and x it in a
suitable location using an existing or new backbox
4. Wire in the receiver to the BCM backplate as shown
below
(Make sure to also wire in any wires detailed in the BCM instal-
lation guide such as the boiler connection)

5. Replace the cover on the receiver and continue
with the BCM installation
6. During the BCM online installation, ensure
“VSThermostat” is ticked on connected devices

Setting the Clock and Weekday
Press and hold the M button for 3 seconds.
Set the minute, hour and weekday number by rotating
the dial and pressing M to set the value and moving to
the next value
By clicking the dial button, it will return to the home
screen.
Programming the Thermostat
There are 4 programmable points per day, these can
be set to turn the heating on and o up to twice per
day.
To setup the programmed mode:
- Press and hold the P button for 3 seconds
- Set the time for the 1st setting, in 15 minute intervals,
and press P
- Set the temperature and press P
Repeat for each of the intervals and for each day of
the week.

Pairing
Hold the top button down on the receiver until the
top LED is ashing quickly
Hold down the dial on the thermostat until a the code
shows on the screen
Rotate the dial on the thermostat so the code ashes
Wait for the signal icon to appear in the top right
corner of the thermostat screen
(This can take up to ve minutes in some cases)

To factory reset the receiver, hold down both buttons
together until both the lights turn on and don’t ash
The receiver will now reset itself
Thermostat
To factory reset the thermostat, press the dial button
to turn the thermostat o
Then hold the dial button down for 6s to enter the
parameter setting menu
Navigate to menu 17 by pressing the dial button until
17 is displayed in the top left corner
Turn the dial to set menu 17 to 1
Then hold the dial button down for 5s until the ther-
mostat restarts
Lost Connection
If there is a problem connecting to the BCM, the up-
per LED will ash fast until the connection is restored
Parameter Setting
To enter parameter settings, press the dial button to
turn the thermostat screen o and hold the dial but-
ton for 6 seconds.
Adjust the value using the dial, and move to the next
setting by clicking the dial.
