SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
•This product is a Category I electrical appliance which is intended only
for drying textiles which have been washed with water in the household.
Please ensure safe power use during operation!
•A power socket with reliable earthing must be used. Its earth wire must
be buried underground and must not be connected to public utilities such
as a city water pipe, gas pipe, etc. The earth wire and null wire must be
distinguishable and must not be connected to each other.
•The power wire must meet IEC standards and must be able to withstand a
current above 16A. To ensure your and your family’s safety, please make
improvements immediately if any power use at your home does not meet
the aforementioned requirements.
•Do not overload the dryer beyond what is recommended. Obey the
maximum load volume. See the related chapter in the user manual.
•The tumble dryer must not be used if industrial chemicals have been used
for cleaning items.
•Do not dry unwashed items in the tumble dryer.
•Items that have been soiled with substances such as cooking oil, acetone,
alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, wax and wax
removers should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of detergent
before being dried in the tumble dryer.
•Fabric softeners, or similar products, should be used as specied by the
fabric softener instructions.
•Items such as foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles,
rubber backed articles and clothes or pillows tted with foam rubber pads
should not be dried in the tumble dryer.
•The nal part of a tumble dryer cycle occurs without heat (cool-down cycle)
to ensure that the items are left at a temperature that does not damage the
items.
•The lint trap must be cleaned frequently.
•Lint must not to be allowed to accumulate around the tumble dryer.
•Aequate ventilation must be provided to avoid the backow of gases into
the room from appliances burning other fuels, including open res.

•The exhaust air must not be discharged into a ue which is used to exhaust
fumes from appliances burning gas or other fuels.
•The appliance must not be installed behind a lockable door, a sliding door
or a door with a hinge on the opposite side to that of the tumble dryer in
such a way that the tumble dryer door cannot be fully opened.
•Oil-affected items can ignite spontaneously, especially when exposed to
heat sources such as a tumble dryer. The items become warm, causing an
oxidation reaction in the oil. Oxidation creates heat. If the heat cannot
escape, the items can become hot enough to catch re. Piling, stacking or
storing oil-affected items can prevent heat from escaping and create a re
hazard.
•If fabrics containing vegetable or cooking oil or fabrics contaminated
by hair care products must be placed in a tumble dryer, they should rst
be washed in hot water with extra detergent. This will reduce, but not
eliminate, the hazard.
•The appliance should not be overturned during normal use or maintenance.
•Remove all objects from pockets, such as lighters and matches.
•This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack
of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning safe use of the appliance and understand the
hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance must not be performed by children without supervision
(this warning is only for the EUROPEAN market).
•The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance (this warning is not for the EUROPEAN market).
•If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid a hazard.
•This appliance is for indoor use only.
•The openings must not be obstructed by a carpet.
•Children under 3 years old should be kept away unless continuously
supervised.
•If the appliance appears to be at an abnormally high temperature, please
pull the main plug immediately.

•Do not disassemble or install the dryer without any instruction or
supervision.
•Do not stack this dryer on a washing machine without a stacking kit. (If
you wish to stack this dryer on a washing machine, please purchase the
separate parts; these must be installed by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualied persons to avoid any hazards).
•Do not lean on the opened door of the dryer.
•Do not place any combustible object on the dryer, such as a candle or
electric cooker.

•Do not dry over the rated capacity.
•Do not operate the dryer without the lter door and lter base.
•Do not dry clothes before they go through a spin cycle.
•Do not expose the dryer directly to the sun – indoor use only.
•Do not install the dryer in a humid or wet environment.
•During cleaning and maintenance, please remember to pull the power plug
and do not wash the dryer directly with water.

Remove the drain
hose from the housing

Insert the drain hose and the
external drainage hose into the
connector.
Place the hose support on the edge of
a wash basin or any other sink.
Transport
Move cautiously. Do not grasp any protruding parts of machine. The machine
door can not be used as a handle during conveyance. If the dryer cannot be
transported upright, the dryer may slant to the right at less than 30°.
Installatie position
1. For your convenience, it is recommended that the machine be positioned
close to your washing machine.
2. The tumble dryer must be installed in a clean area where dirt does not
build up. Air must be able to circulate freely around the appliance. Do
not obstruct the front air inlet or the air intake grilles at the back of the
machine.
3. To keep vibration and noise at a minimum while the dryer is in use, it
should be placed on a rm and level surface.
4. The feet must never be removed. Do not restrict the oor clearance by using
deep pile carpets, strips of wood, etc. This might cause heat to build up,
which would interfere with the operation of the appliance.

Adjusting the level
Once in its permanent operating position, check
that the dryer is absolutely level with the aid of a
spirit level. If it is not, adjust the feet with a tool.
Power Supply Connection
1. Make sure that the voltage of the power supply is the same as the electrical
specication of the dryer.
2. Do not connect the dryer with a power connection board, a universal plug
or socket. Do not use multi-plug adapters or extension cables.

BEFORE DRYING
Note!
• Let dryer stand for 2 hours after transporting. Before rst use, please use
a soft cloth to clean the inside drum.
1. Place a few clean rags into the drum.
2. Plug in the power cord and press [Aan/Uit] (On/Off).
3. Select the [Opfrissen] (Refresh) Programme and press the [Start/
Pauze] (Start/pause) button.
4. After nishing this programme, please follow the “cleaning and
care” instructions (see page 21) to clean the lter door.
• During drying, the compressor and water will generate some noise
which is entirely normal.
1. Before drying, thoroughly spin the laundry in a washing machine. A high
spin speed can reduce drying time and save energy consumption.
2. For a uniform drying result, sort laundry according to fabric type and
drying programme.
3. Before drying, please close zippers, hooks and eyelets, button up, tie fabric
belts, etc.
4. Do not over dry the clothes, because over-dried clothes can crease easily.
5. Do not dry articles containing rubber or similar elastic materials.
6. The door can be opened only after the programme of the drying machine
is complete. This prevents skin from being scalded by hot steam or burned
by an overheated dryer.
7. Clean the lint lter and empty the water container after each use to avoid
extension of drying time and energy consumption.
8. Do not dry clothes after a dry-cleaning process.
9. Please choose the appropriate programme when drying woolen clothes;
this will make the cloth more fresh and uffy.

OPTION
This function is used for delaying drying time within 24 hours. The delay time
means the programme will start after X hours. When the delay programme
starts, the time will start to count down on the display and the delay icon will
blinks.

Steps:
1. Load your laundry and make sure the machine door is closed.
2. Press the [Aan/Uit] (On/Off) button, then turn the programme selector
knob and select the desired programme.
3. You can select the [Anti-kreuk] (Anti-Crease) or [Signaal] (Signal)
functions according to your need.
4. Press the [Startuitstel] (Delay) button.
5. Continue to press [Startuitstel] (Delay) to select the delay time.
6. After the [Start/Pauze] (Start/Pause) button is pressed, the dryer is in
operational mode.
7. If you press the [Start/Pauze] (Start/Pause) button again, the Delay
function will be paused.
8. If you wish to cancel the Delay function, please press the [Aan/Uit]
(On/Off) button.
The drying procedure will start automatically when the delay time is over.
When the Warm, Cool or Refresh programme is selected, the [Tijd] (Time)
button can be used to adjust the drying time in 10 minute increments.
Tijd (Time)
Use for adjusting the dryness level of the laundry.
The level has four grades.The drying time increases 5 minutes for every grade.
Intensiteit (Intensity)
1. The intensity function can be activated only before the programme
starts.
2. Press the [Intensiteit] (Intensity) button repeatedly to select the drying
time.
3. All programmes can be set with the [Intensiteit] (Intensity) function
except for the [Katoen strijkdroog ] (Cotton Iron), [Delicaat] (Delicate),
[Wol] (Wool), [Warm], [Koud] (Cool) and [Refresh] (Opfrissen)
programmes.
The lamp inside the drum will light up for about 3 minutes when the button is
pressed or 1 minute when the door is open.

Sets the buzzer to on or off. In general condition, the buzzer is on. Press as
needed.
When the buzzer is on:
Signaal (Signal)
1. The dryer will make the leading sound if the extra function buttons
2. If the programme knob is rotated while the dryer is running, the dryer
will remind the operator that it is an invalid programme selection.
3. When the drying programme is done, the buzzer will beep to remind
the user.
At the end of the drying cycle, the anti-crease phase time is 30 minutes
(default) or 120 minutes (selected). This function prevents laundry from
creasing. The laundry can be removed during the anti-crease phase. All
programmes have this function except [Koud] (Cool), [Wol] (Wool) and
[Refresh] (Opfrissen).
Anti-kreuk (Anti-crease)
Used to dene and save your favorite programmes that are used frequently.
Favoriete cyclus (My cycle)
1. Use the programme knob to select the required programme and other
drying functions.
2. 2. Press and hold the button along with for 3 seconds until the
beep sounds and the desired programme has been saved.
3. When you turn the programme selector to the [Favoriete cyclus] (My
cycle) position, you can start your favorite programmes.

1. This machine incorporates a special child safety lock, which can
prevent children from carelessly pressing buttons or starting a faulty
operation.

To activate the Child Lock function, the [Anti-kreuk] (Anti-Crease) and [Signaal]
(Signal) buttons must be pressed at the same time for at least 3 seconds.

seconds to start the Child Lock function. When the Child Lock function
is set, the display will show the Child Lock icon and no button will
have an effect on the dryer except the [Aan/Uit] (On/Off) button.

been approved by The Woolmark Company for
the drying of machine dryable wool products
provided that the products are dried according
to the instructions on the garment label and those
issued by the manufacturer of this tumble dryer.

Programme selector
PROGRAMMES
1. Press the [Aan/Uit] (On/Off) button.When the LED display screen
lights up, rotate the programme knob to select the desired programme.
2. Select the [Startuitstel] (Delay) , [Tijd] (Time) , [Intensiteit] (Intensity) ,
[Anti-kreuk] (Anti-Crease) or [Signaal] (Signal) functions for additional
options.
3. Press the [Start/Pauze] (Start/Pause) button.
Programme start
The drum will begin to rotate after the programme starts. The status light in
the display area will ash in sequence, and the displayed remaining time will
change automatically.
Programme end
1. The drum will stop running after the programme ends. The display
will show “0:00”, and the “End” status signal and related light will
illuminate. The dryer will start the [Anti-kreuk] (Anti-Crease) function if
the user does not remove the load in time (see page 16). Please press
the [Aan/Uit] (On/Off) button to cut power and pull the plug.
2. Resolve problems using the “Malfunction display and solutions” section
if there is an unexpected stop during the drying procedure and the
dryer shows information (see page 24).

Consumption Data
•This symbol indicates the energy efciency test programme
“standard cotton programme”, which is in accordance with
Regulation 392/2012/EU, measured in accordance with EN
61121 and suitable for drying normal cotton loads at the rated
load capacity.
•Thick or multi-layered fabrics, e.g. bed linens, jeans, jackets, etc.
are not easy to dry. It is advisable to choose the Cotton Extra
programme or use the “Intensity” function (see to page 16).
•As uneven materials, thick and multi-layered clothes are not easy
to dry, it is advisable to choose the appropriate time drying
programme to dry them if some parts of the clothes are still damp
after the programme nishes.
“For uffy and fresh wool clothing (cannot be used for drying)” is
applied to VPWD 101 & VPWD301.
“To dry few wool clothes” is applied to VPWD101 & VPWD301.
All data was measured in accordance with EN 61121.
The actual consumption may differ from the values given in the
table, depending on the amount of the laundry, type of fabric,
residual moisture and any functions selected.
