1. VEILIGHEID
1.1. VEILIGHEIDSSYMBOLEN EN LABELS OP HET APPARAAT
SYMBOOL OMSCHRIJVING
Waarschuwing! Heet oppervlak.
1.2. VEILIGHEIDSWAARSCHUWINGEN EN VOORSCHRIFTEN
Zorg dat u de veiligheidsinstructies volledig heeft gelezen en begrepen voordat u het
apparaat installeert, gebruikt of onderhoud. Zo voorkomt u mogelijke materiële schade
en immateriële schade aan u of aan anderen, het apparaat, uw andere eigendommen of
eigendommen van anderen.
!WAARSCHUWING!
Brandgevaar door kortsluiting:
•Laat het apparaat nooit onbeheerd achter wanneer het apparaat in gebruik is. Schakel
het apparaat uit en haal de stekker uit het stopcontact als u de ruimte verlaat.
•Wikkel de voedingskabel nooit rondom het apparaat. Wikkel de voedingskabel voor
gebruik volledig af.

•Gebruik geen verlengsnoeren of stekkerdozen met dit apparaat.
•Draai of knik de voedingskabel niet en rol de voedingskabel niet op. De isolatielaag
van de voedingskabel kan beschadigd raken.
•Trek niet aan de voedingskabel om het apparaat te verplaatsen of om de stekker uit het
geaarde stopcontact te halen.
•Plaats de voedingskabel niet in de buurt van hitte, olie, scherpe randen en bewegende
delen.
•Controleer voordat u het apparaat gaat gebruiken of het voltage op het typeplaatje
overeenkomt met het voltage van het stopcontact. Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op een
geaard stopcontact.
Brandgevaar door licht ontvlambare materialen:
•Plaats het apparaat nooit in de buurt van brandbare materialen. Zorg dat de afstand
tussen het apparaat en brandbare materialen minimaal 1 meter is.
Brandgevaar door oververhitting:
•Gebruik het apparaat nooit op of in de buurt van andere warmtebronnen.
•Gebruik nooit een timer of een aparte afstandsbediening die het apparaat automatisch
inschakelt.
•Maak de ventilatieopeningen regelmatig schoon om ophoping van stof te voorkomen.
•Houd de minimale door de leverancier van de afzuigkap bepaalde voorgeschreven
afstand aan tussen het apparaat en de afzuigkap.
•Blijf altijd alert bij het verwarmen van olie of vet. Olie of vet kan vlam vatten bij
oververhitting.
Brandgevaar door instabiliteit:
•Plaats het apparaat altijd op een vlakke en stabiele ondergrond.
Explosiegevaar door warmtestraling:
•Gebruik het apparaat nooit in de buurt van explosieve stoffen.
Explosiegevaar door ontvlambare stoffen:
•Gooi het apparaat niet weg bij het huishoudelijk afval. Volg bij het afdanken van het
apparaat de nationale en lokale regelgeving met betrekking tot het milieuvriendelijk
afdanken van het apparaat.
Elektrocutiegevaar door kortsluiting:
•Voer geen reparaties uit aan het apparaat die niet omschreven zijn in deze handleiding.
Het apparaat mag alleen worden gerepareerd door een bevoegde servicemonteur.
•Gebruik het apparaat niet als een onderdeel beschadigd of defect is. Vervang een
beschadigd of defect apparaat onmiddellijk. Haal de voedingskabel uit het stopcontact
en neem contact op met de klantenservice van Coolblue.
•Steek nooit voorwerpen in de ventilatieopeningen.
•Plaats het apparaat nooit direct onder een stopcontact. De voedingskabel kan tegen
het verwarmingselement aankomen, waardoor de plastic isolatie kan smelten.

•Plaats het apparaat altijd op een droge en vochtbestendige ondergrond.
•Gebruik het apparaat niet als de voedingskabel beschadigd is. De voedingskabel mag
alleen door een bevoegde servicemonteur vervangen worden.
•Vervang nooit zelf de voedingskabel. De voedingskabel mag alleen door een
bevoegde servicemonteur worden vervangen.
Verstikkingsgevaar:
•Laat kinderen nooit met het verpakkingsmateriaal spelen. Houd het
verpakkingsmateriaal buiten bereik van kinderen.
•Gebruik het apparaat alleen in een goed geventileerde ruimte.
VOORZICHTIG!
Struikelgevaar door loshangende kabels:
•Laat de voedingskabel nooit hangen op een manier dat iemand er over kan struikelen
of er per ongeluk aan kan trekken.
Verbrandingsgevaar door hitte:
•Laat het apparaat altijd volledig afkoelen en haal de stekker uit het geaarde
stopcontact voordat u het apparaat onderhoudt of reinigt.
•Raak de hete onderdelen van het apparaat nooit aan. Raak alleen de temperatuurknop
aan of wacht tot het apparaat volledig afgekoeld is.
•Plaats het apparaat altijd op een hittebestendige ondergrond.
•Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (waaronder kinderen) met
beperkte fysieke, sensorische of geestelijke capaciteiten of met gebrek aan ervaring
en kennis, tenzij ze onder toezicht staan of instructies betreffende het gebruik van het
apparaat hebben ontvangen van iemand die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid.
•Laat kinderen niet spelen met het apparaat en de onderdelen. Het apparaat en de
onderdelen zijn geen speelgoed.

Risico op schade aan het apparaat:
•Reinig het apparaat nooit met agressieve chemische schoonmaakmiddelen die het
apparaat kunnen beschadigen.
•Laat het apparaat nooit vallen en vermijd stoten. Overmatige trillingen kunnen leiden tot
losgeraakte verbindingen en kunnen de goede werking van het apparaat beïnvloeden.
Gebruik het apparaat niet meer als het apparaat is gevallen.
•Plaats het apparaat nooit in een vaatwasser.

2. INFORMATIE OVER HET APPARAAT
2.1. BESCHRIJVING VAN HET APPARAAT
De Veripart VPKPE2B en VPKPE2W zijn kookplaten geschikt voor het bereiden van
voedsel. De kookplaat heeft twee los te bedienen kookgebieden. De temperatuur van de
kookgebieden is in te stellen met de temperatuurknop.
2.2. BEDOELD GEBRUIK EN TE VERWACHTEN ONBEDOELD
GEBRUIK
Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor gebruik binnenshuis.
Dit apparaat is bedoeld voor gebruik in huishoudelijke en soortgelijke toepassingen, zoals:
•keukenruimtes van het personeel in winkels, kantoren en andere werkomgevingen;
•boerderijen;
•gebruik door klanten in hotels, motels en andere woonomgevingen;
•“bed & breakfast”-achtige omgevingen.
Dit apparaat is niet bedoeld voor gebruik door personen (waaronder kinderen) met
beperkte fysieke, sensorische of geestelijke capaciteiten of met gebrek aan ervaring en
kennis, tenzij ze onder toezicht staan of instructies betreffende het gebruik van het apparaat
hebben ontvangen van iemand die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid.
Elk ander gebruik van het apparaat dan beschreven in deze handleiding wordt beschouwd
als onbedoeld gebruik en kan leiden tot materiële schade en immateriële schade aan u of
aan anderen, het apparaat, uw andere eigendommen of eigendommen van anderen en
het vervallen van de garantie.

2.6. GARANTIE
Het apparaat wordt geleverd met een garantieperiode van 2 jaar na aankoop. Om
aanspraak te kunnen maken op de garantie, dient u te beschikken over de aankoopbon

3. GEBRUIK
3.1. VERPAKKING VERWIJDEREN EN CONTROLEREN

Verstikkingsgevaar:
•Laat kinderen nooit met het verpakkingsmateriaal spelen. Houd het
verpakkingsmateriaal buiten bereik van kinderen.
1. Verwijder de verpakking en het verpakkingsmateriaal van het apparaat.

3.3. VOOR GEBRUIK
1. Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke, stabiele, hitte- en vochtbestendige ondergrond.
2. Steek de voedingskabel 5in een geaard stopcontact.
3. Draai de temperatuurknoppen 3naar MAX.
De temperatuur LED 4licht op. Het kookgebied 2wordt warm. De temperatuur LED
4schakelt uit nadat de ingestelde temperatuur is bereikt.

• Tijdens het eerste gebruik van het apparaat kan er rookvorming optreden. Dit is niet
schadelijk.
4. Draai na 4 – 5 minuten de temperatuurknoppen 3naar MIN.
5. Laat het apparaat afkoelen.
6. Haal de voedingskabel 5uit het geaarde stopcontact.
3.4. HET APPARAAT GEBRUIKEN
1. Plaats het apparaat op een vlakke, stabiele, hitte- en vochtbestendige ondergrond.
2. Steek de voedingskabel 5in een geaard stopcontact.
3. Plaats een pan op het midden van het kookgebied 2.

4. Draai de temperatuurknoppen 3naar de gewenste stand.
5. De temperatuur LED 4licht op. Het kookgebied 2wordt warm. De temperatuur
LED 4schakelt uit nadat de ingestelde temperatuur is bereikt.

• Gebruik stand 1 tot en met 4 voor het sudderen en warmhouden van voedsel.
• Gebruik stand 5 tot en met MAX voor het koken van voedsel.
3.5. NA GEBRUIK
1. Draai de temperatuurknoppen 3naar MIN.
2. Laat het apparaat afkoelen.
3. Haal de voedingskabel 5uit het geaarde stopcontact.
4. ONDERHOUD EN REINIGING
!WAARSCHUWING!
Elektrocutiegevaar door kortsluiting:
•Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water of andere vloeistoffen.
VOORZICHTIG!
Verbrandingsgevaar door hitte:
•Laat het apparaat altijd volledig afkoelen en haal de stekker uit het geaarde
stopcontact voordat u het apparaat onderhoudt of reinigt.

5. OPSLAG
Wanneer u het apparaat niet gebruikt, bewaar het apparaat in de originele verpakking in
een droge ruimte.
6. VEILIG AFVOEREN
Dit symbool geeft aan dat het apparaat niet met ander huishoudelijk afval
weggegooid mag worden binnen de EU. Door het apparaat op de juiste wijze
af te voeren, helpt u mogelijke gevaren voor het milieu en de volksgezondheid te
voorkomen. Het recyclen van materialen draagt bij tot het behoud van natuurlijke
hulpbronnen. Gooi afgedankte elektronische apparaten daarom niet weg met
het huishoudelijk afval. Volg bij het afvoeren van het apparaat de nationale
en lokale regelgeving met betrekking tot het milieuvriendelijk afvoeren van

Please make sure that you have completely read and understood the safety instructions,
before you install, use or perform maintenance on the device. This will prevent possible
material damage and immaterial damage to you or others, the device, your other property
or the property of others.
!WARNING!
Fire hazard due to short circuit:
•Never leave the device unattended when in use. Turn off and unplug the device when
you leave the room.
•Never wind the power cable around the device. Completely unwind the power cable
before use.
•Do not use this appliance with an extension lead or power strip.
•Do not twist or kink the power cable or roll the cable up. This can damage the cable’s
insulation.
•Never pull on the power cable to move the appliance or to unplug it from the earthed
socket.
•Keep the power cable away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
•Before using the device, check that the voltage indicated on the type plate matches the
voltage of the wall socket. Connect the device to a grounded wall socket only.

Fire hazard due to highly flammable materials:
•Never place the device near flammable materials. Please make sure that the distance
between the device and flammable materials is a minimum of 1 metre.
Fire hazard due to overheating:
•Never use the device on top of or nearby other heat sources.
•Never use a timer or separate remote control that turns the device on automatically.
•Clean the ventilation openings regularly to avoid dust accumulation.
•Maintain the minimum distance between the appliance and the extractor hood that is
specified by the extractor hood’s supplier.
•Take care when heating oil or grease. Oil and grease can catch fire if they become too
hot.

•Always place the device on a flat and stable surface.
Explosion hazard due to heat radiation:
•Never use the device near explosive materials.
Explosion hazard due to flammable materials:
•Do not dispose of the device in the household waste. When disposing of the device,

•Do not perform any repairs to the appliance that are not described in this manual. The

•Never replace the power cable yourself. The power cable may only be replaced by an
authorised service technician.
Risk of suffocation:
•Never allow children to play with the packaging material. Keep the packaging material
out of the reach of children.
•Only use the device in a well ventilated space.

The Veripart VPKPE2B and VPKPE2W are cooking hobs suitable for preparing food. The
hob has two individually controlled cooking zones. Use the temperature control to set the
temperature for the cooking zones.
2.2. INTENDED USE AND FORESEEABLE UNINTENDED USE
This device is intended for indoor use only.
This device is intended for use in domestic and similar applications, like:
•staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
•farms;
•use by customers in hotels, motels and other residential areas;
•"bed and breakfast"-like environments.
This device is not meant for use by persons (including children) with limited physical,
sensory or mental capacity or with lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are
under supervision or received instruciton regarding the use of the device from someone who
is responsible for their safety.
Any use of the device other than described in the user manual is considered unintended use
and may result in property damage and non-material damage to you or others, the device,
your other property or property of others, and may void the warranty.

3.1. REMOVING PACKAGING MATERIAL AND CHECKING

out of the reach of children.
1. Remove the packaging material from the device.

3.3. BEFORE USE
1. Put the unit on a flat, stable, heat-resistant and moisture-resistant surface.
2. Plug the power cable 5into an earthed socket.
3. Turn the temperature controls 3up to MAX.
The LED for the temperature 4lights up. The cooking zone 2starts heating. The LED
for the temperature 4will go off once the set temperature is reached.
33NOTENOTE
• The appliance may produce some smoke when you use it for the first time. This is not
harmful.
4. After 4 to 5 minutes, turn the temperature controls 3down to MIN.
5. Let the device cool down.
6. Unplug the power cable 5from the earthed socket.
3.4. USING THE DEVICE
1. Put the unit on a flat, stable, heat-resistant and moisture-resistant surface.
2. Plug the power cable 5into an earthed socket.
3. Place cookware in the centre of the cooking zone 2.
