Step 2
Install five 8mm ex spacers onto t e carrier board. T e ex spacer must
be placed on top of t e board. From t e bottom of t e board, tig ten
t e ex spacers by using t e M2.5x4mm screws (x5).

Installing SODIMM memory
on COMe-9X90 module
Step 1
Align t e notc on t e memory module wit t e protruding wedge on t e
SODIMM slot. Insert t e memory module into t e slot at 30 degrees angle.
Installing COMe-9X90 module
to COMEDB4 carrier board
Step 6
Connect t e CPU fan connector cable.
Step 1
Locate t e carrier board mounting points (x5) and t e connectors (x2).
Step 5
Install t e eatsink on COMe-9X90 module. Secure it wit four M2.5x15mm
screws (wit 3mm plastic was er).

Step 3
Align t e pin connectors and mounting points of t e COMe-9X90 module
into t e connectors and ex spacers on t e carrier board respectively. T en
press down t e COMe-9X90 module until t e pin connectors ave been
fully inserted into t e connectors.

Pus down until t e memory module snaps into place. T e memory slot as
two locking mec anisms t at will click once t e memory module as been
fully inserted.
