1. Assemble the parts in sequence
according to the illustration.
2. The Drip Tray (f) must be in place
before operation to avoid any risk
of grease or any other liquid flowing
into the appliance.
3. Choose the Grill © or Griddle (d)
for cooking and make sure contact
is firm.
4. If the Grill © or Griddle (d) are
placed in the wrong direction,
rotate 180 degrees to place in the
correct position.
5. To avoid damage, never
disassemble any screwed parts.

a. Preheat Light (Red LED) – When
the unit is preheating, the Red LED
will light up. The Red LED will turn
OFF and the Green LED will turn
ON when the temperature is ready
to cook.
b. Ready Light (Green LED) – When
the temperature is ready to cook,
the Green LED will light up. If the
temperature is not ready to cook,
the Green LED will turn OFF and
the Red LED will turn ON.
c. Fahrenheit/Centigrade Switch
Button – Press to change mode.
d. Decrease Preheat Temperature
Button – Select desired temperature
by pressing the button. Temperature
will reduce in 25° intervals.
The lowest temperature is 150° F.
e. ON/OFF Button – Press the button
to start the unit.
Press again to turn off.
f. Increase Preheat Temperature
Button – Select desired temperature
by pressing the button. Temperature
will increase in 25° intervals.
The highest temperature is 475° F.
g. Probe Function Button – Insert the
probe into food and press the mode
button (g) to display temperature.
h. Probe Plug Insert – for connecting
probe.
i. Temperature Display – (White LCD)
for displaying temperature.
j. Probe Setting Icon – For
temperature setting.
k. Probe Mode Mark – When using the
Probe, press the Mode button and
the Probe mark will show on the
LCD.
l. Release Button – Raise the control
panel for easy-viewing.
Press the button to set the control
panel back to the holder.

How to Use Your Grill/Griddle

1. Plug in.
The Display and LED will light up for one
second then will turn OFF and go into
Standby mode.
2. Press ON/OFF Button.
The Grill/Griddle will start heating in normal
mode.
a. The LCD will light up and 475° F preheat
temperature will show on LED display.
b. The Red LED light will turn OFF when
the temperature is ready to cook.
3. Setting Preheat Temperature
a. When the unit is ON, press the “minus”
button to set desired temperature.
Temperature will reduce at 25° intervals.
When pressing the button for three
seconds, the temperature will reduce
quickly and will stop at the minimum
150° F.
b. When the unit is ON, press the “plus”
button to set the desired temperature.
Temperature will increase at 25° intervals.
When pressing the button for three
seconds, the temperature will increase
quickly and will stop at the maximum
475°F.
c. When Grill/Griddle temperature is lower
than setting temperature, the Red LED
will light up and turn OFF when it is ready
to cook.
d. When the temperature reaches the
desired setting, the Green LED will light
up and will not go off.
e. Eight total temperature settings:
155F/175F/350F/375F/400F/425F/450F/475F.
4. Preheating and Ready to Cook
a. During Preheating:
i. LCD Display will show the Grill/Griddle
preheat setting temperature or default
setting 475° F
ii. The Red LED will turn OFF when the
temperature is ready to cook.
b. Reaching desired temperature or
“ready to cook”
i. LCD Display will show the Grill/Griddle
desired temperature or default setting
475° F.
ii. The Red LED will turn OFF when the
temperature is at desired temperature
or ready to cook.
iii. The Green LED will light up at desired
temperature or “ready to cook” and will
turn OFF when the Grill/Griddle
temperature is lower than desired
temperature.
iv. Beep – when the Grill/Griddle is at
desired temperature, the Beep will
sound 3 times (3 seconds at a time with
a pause for 1 second before the next
beep for 3 seconds. The beep works on
every new setting.)
5. Switch Button for Fahrenheit/
Centigrade
The temperature mode can be switched
between Fahrenheit and Centigrade.

1. Press MODE button at Normal
mode when unit is ON, and it will
detect if the Probe plug is in place.
The display will alternate between
“PLUG” & “PROBE”. The Probe
mark on LCD right corner will flash
for 1 second. If there is no Probe
plug in place within 30 seconds, it
will go back to Normal mode. If the
Probe plug is in place, the mode
can be switched to Normal mode
when the MODE button is pressed
again.
2. Under Probe Mode, the food
temperature can be read when the
Probe is inserted into the food.
3. Probe using I:
If there is no temperature setting by pressing
the “minus” and “plus” buttons, the Probe
will show the detection temperature.
The temperature changes in 1° F/C
intervals.
4. Probe using II:
1. Set the Probe desired temperature by
pressing the Minus or Plus buttons.
The Probe default Maximum temperature
will display at 184° F. Press the Minus or
Plus button again to adjust
2. When the setting temperature is reached,
the beeper will sound 2 short
(each half-second) and 1 long
(1 and a half seconds) for 3 cycles.
When the MODE button is pressed and
goes back to Normal mode, the
temperature setting is maintained.
a. LCD Panel – shows Probe setting
temperature and measures temperature
alternately every 3 seconds.
b. LCD Panel – will light up when using
Probe.
c. LCD Panel – when setting temperature,
“SET” will show on LCD display.
5. Probe Mode:
The Green LED will light up and
beeper will sound 3 times when the
Grill/Griddle reaches temperature
setting.

1. Once the ON/OFF button is
pressed when the unit is working,
the power will be cut. If the unit is
turned ON again within 10
seconds, the previous setting will
maintain; but if the unit is turned
again after 10 seconds, the default
temperature will show.
2. Two-hour AUTO-SHUT-OFF. Three
5-second beep at 3-second interval
will sound before shout off.
1. Grill has eight temperature settings.
Choose the desired setting using the
temperature chart below.
2. The Probe measures food
temperature and can be set for the
desired temperature using the chart
below.
3. A beep will sound when the unit is
preheated or when the food
reaches the desired temperature at
Probe Mode II.
4. Two angles on the Control Panel
provide a clear view.
5. Use Grill Handles to easily remove
the Grill or Griddle.
6. Drip Tray catches grease and other
liquid.
7. A Glass Lid prevents spattering
during cooking.

Preparation

1. Frozen food must be completely
thawed before cooking on the quick
grill.
2. Position the quick grill on a firm,
level, heat-resistant working surface,
close to a power socket, and out of
the reach of children.
3. Make sure the drip tray is clean and
in place.
4. Lightly coat the cooking plates with
cooking oil or butter. DO NOT USE
low fat spread, as it may burn and
damage the non-stick surfaces.
5. Close the lid.
6. Cut the food to be grilled into
one-inch or smaller slices.
7. Plastic wrap or polyethylene bags
will damage the quick grill and may
cause a fire hazard.
1. The Glass Lid is removable for easy cleaning and is dishwasher safe.
2. The Grill and Griddle plates are removable for easy cleaning and can be washed but not
submerged. DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER!
3. Clean the Drip Tray by washing and drying thoroughly. Drip tray is dishwasher safe.
4. Wash and dry the Probe. DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER!
5. Clean the Base by wiping and drying thoroughly. DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER! And DO
NOT get the electrical parts wet.
Clean & Maintenance
If using Aluminum Foil, it is necessary to close the lid.
NOTE

Vianté Home Products Company, hereafter noted as
Vianté, warrants each appliance to be free from defects
in material and workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR.
Our obligation under this warranty is limited to repair at
our factory or authorized service center of any defective
parts unless the parts have been damaged through
misuse or damaged in transit.
In the event of a product replacement or return, all
freight charges must be prepaid. The repaired or
replacement model will be returned at Vianté expense.
This warranty is conditional upon proper use and care
in accordance with instruction manual directions, which
accompany the unit and only the use by the original
purchaser.
