The VisionSensor2010-FT arrivesfullyprogrammed toread all codes.Just
plug itintoyourcomputer’sUSB port, and eachscanned code willbe entered
intothe computerasif you had typed iton the keyboard.
Ifperformancedegradesovertime,clean the scanner’slensusing asoft
clothorlenstissuedampened withwater. Formorestubborndirt, useamild
detergent. Rinsewithclearwaterusing asoftclothoralenstissue toavoid
scratching the lens.
Note:Neversubmerge the scannerinanyliquid,orusesolventssuchas
acetone orbenzene, toclean the caseorthe window.

USBConnection
1. Connect the cabletothe scanner.
2. Plug theotherend of the cableintothe computer’sUSBport.
ReadingCodes
1. Holdthe scannerabout 4inchesawayfromthe code.
2. Pulland holdthe triggertoactivatethe beam.
3. Centerthe code inthe beam,and listen forthe “beep”,indicating the
code hasbeen read.
Note:Ifthe scannerishaving difficultyreading fluorescentcodes,
the surrounding lighting maybe too bright. Trytippingthe envelope
downwardtoshielditfromthe overhead lights.
