I. Introduction
Thanksforchoosingourproduct. Thisoperationmanualisdesignedtoguideyou inoperatingthe
product,aswellasapplicationprogramsattachedwiththeproduct.Beforeusingtheproductand
corresponding accessorialapplications,pleasereadcarefullythismanual,soastoensurethatyou
maycorrectlyand easilyhandle the product.

1.StartingRecordingwhilePoweringOn:Plugtheproductwith220Velectricsupply,it will
automaticallystartup andbegintorecordvideoswiththelightgreenlightalwayson.
2.VideoStorage:Undertherecordingstate, shortpress thestop Recordingbutton,theredlight
willglitterthree timesandthengooff,indicatingthatthevideohasbeensaved.Then,switchoff
the power.
3.Motion Detection:Theproductwill startrecordingoncebeingpoweredon,andtherecorded
videoswill beautomaticallysavedonce every20minutes.Ifthereisnomobileobjectinfrontof
thecamera, itwillstoprecording, while ifthere isobjectappearing, itwillstarta newrecording.

4.Plug theproductontoanUSBport,it willimmediatelyberecognizedtobeamass storage
device. Openthedevice toviewallrecordedvideos.
5.Ifthere isnoenough diskspace, thenewrecordedvideowilloverwritethepreviousone.
V.DriverInstallation
1. UDisk
ThisisonlynecessaryforusersofWindows98:Install thedriverintheCDaffiliatedwiththe
product,andthenrestartthecomputer.ForoperatingsystemsofWindowsME/2000/XP/Mac
OS9.2.2oraboveversions,thereisnoneedtoinstall thedriver.
2. Camera
PlacetheDriverCDintotheCD-ROM,andtheninstall thecameradriver
(SPCA1528_V2250_WHQL_MultLan.exe)intoyoucomputer.
VI. Computer Connection
1.ConnecttheproductontotheUSBportwiththeUSBcable.Afterbeingconnectedcorrectly,
youmayfind the “RemovableDisk”in “MyComputer”.Then,theproductwillberecognized
asaremovabledisk,and you willbeabletoviewallvideofiles,aswellastotransmit,copy,
paste, and deletedatawithyourcomputer.
2. WebCamera:
Firstly,thedriverprogramshallbeinstalled.Poweroffthecamera,keeppressingonthe
RecordingbuttonandthensimultaneouslyconnectthecamerawiththeUSBcable. Then,you
will beabletousetheproductasa webcamera.
3. DisconnectUSBDevice:
a. Doubleclickthe “SafelyRemoveHardware”icon(thegreenarrowatthe rightbottom)inthe
Windowsinterface;
b. Select “Stop”inthedialogbox of “SafelyRemoveHardware”;
c. Selectthedevicetobestoppedandthenpress “Confirm”.Then,thedevicewillbesafely
removed.Attherightbottom,thegreenarrowwill pop up ainformationnotice: “USBMass
Storage Device cannowbe safelyremovedfromthe system”.
d. Close thedialogbox of “SafelyRemoveHardware”;
e. DisconnectthecameraandthePC.

CanNotbe Connectedtoa
Computer
1.ChecktheUSBcableforanydamages,and checkifthe camerahasbeen
correctlyconnectedwiththe PC;
2.Make sure thatthedriverprogramhasbeencorrectlyinstalled(ifthe OS
isWindow98).
