Please follow these safety instructions closely to prevent accidents
and material losses.

Danger
This symbol warns against the
risk of injury.
Installation, commissioning, inspection,
maintenance and repairs must only be
carried out by an authorised, competent
person (heating engineer/installation
contractor).
Before working on the appliance/heat-
ing system, isolate it from the power
supply (e.g. by removing a separate
mains fuse or by means of a mains iso-
lator) and safeguard against unauthor-
ised reconnection.
When using gas as fuel, also close the
main gas shut-off valve and safeguard
against unauthorised reopening.
Repairing components that fulfil a
safety function can compromise the
safe operation of the system.
For replacements, use only original
spare parts supplied or approved by
Viessmann.

Gas restrictors for installation in the fol-
lowing boilers:
■ Vitodens 200, type WB2
■ Vitodens 222, type WS2
■ Vitodens 300, type WB3A
■ Vitodens 333, type WS3A
■ Vitocrossal 300, type CU3
■ Condutherm CE, type JCE110,
JCE240, JCE320
■ Condutherm CEW, type JCE245

1. Close the gas shut-off valve.
2. Disconnect the power supply and
safeguard against unauthorised
reconnection.
3. ■ Vitodens 200, type WB2, Condu-
therm CE, type JCE110, JCE240,
JCE320, Condutherm CEW, type
JCE245:
Unlock the catch behind the con-
trol unit flap. Remove the front
panel.
■ Vitodens 300, type WB3A:
Undo the locking screws on the
underside. Remove the front
panel.
■ Vitodens 222, type WS2,
Vitodens 333, type WS3A:
Remove the top front panel.
Unscrew the locking screw.
Remove the bottom front panel.
4. Unlock and remove the cover hood
or burner hood.

01. Loosen 2 screws and remove gas
restrictor holder A from gas train
B.
02. Press gas restrictor C sideways
out of gas restrictor holder A.
03. Insert new O-ring D into the
groove in new gas restrictor C.

of explosion.
Check the position of the O-
ring.
04. Insert new gas restrictor C for the
existing gas type into gas restrictor
holder A (click into place).
See the following table for marking
E on the gas restrictors.
05. Insert new O-ring F on the cam
on gas restrictor holder A.

06. Insert gas restrictor holder A into
gas train B and secure with
screws.
Torque: 2.3 Nm
07. Take the label for the gas type from
the type designation provided. Affix
the label over the existing label G
on gas restrictor holder A.
08. Start the boiler and check for
leaks.

leaks.
09. Affix label "Set for ..." over the
"Gas type" label (next to the type
plate).
10. Reassemble the boiler.

holder A (click into place).

05. Insert new O-ring F on the cam
