SAFETY MANUAL
Warning!
Do not attempt to operate the device if the device is wet. The installation of a power source in
a boat should be performed by qualified personnel.
Make sure that the voltage matches the voltage in the socket and the cable.
The technical data label on the side of the device shows the voltage range.
Electrical devices must not be placed in the cooling device due to their possible damage.
When transporting, be careful not to tilt the device.
The device requires adequate ventilation. There must therefore be enough free space to
improve air circulation (rear 200 mm, side 100 mm).
The device should be placed in a place away from the source of heat (e.g. stove, chimney)
and avoid direct sunlight.
It is recommended to operate the device on a flat surface. The maximum working angle of
the device is 30°.
Do not pour the water out of the water tank by turning it upside down. Do not allow the device
to be in water.
Although the device has been cleaned before leaving the factory, we strongly recommend
that you use a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a small amount of neutral detergent
to clean it again, and then wipe it with a dry and soft cloth.
ATTENTION! Do not allow children to play with the cooling device. Do not stand on the
device. Failure to comply with these requirements may damage the device and lead to injury
to the person using the device.

3.2. Connecting and turning on the refrigerator
Connect the device to a DC 12/24V or AC 100~240V power socket (using the power
adapter). Press the “ON/OFF” button to turn on the device. Pressing the switch again will turn
the refrigerator off.
3.3. Basic fridge maintenance
The "ON/OFF" button turns the refrigerator on and off. The ˄ or + buttons are used to raise
the temperature. The ˅ or - buttons are used to lower the temperature.
The "SET" button allows you to select the temperature value, temperature units, cooling rate
and battery protection mode.
3.4. Temperature settings, change of operating mode
The temperature of the refrigerator can be changed by pressing the ˄ or + (temperature
increase) and ˅ or – (temperature decrease) buttons. After selecting the correct temperature,
wait 4 seconds to save the current settings. The refrigerator will begin to cool down to the
selected value. The display shows the CURRENT temperature, not the temperature selected

by the user. After selecting a new temperature, the refrigerator will begin to cool down and
the value on the display will begin to change.
In order to change the temperature unit, turn off the refrigerator and then hold down the
"SET" button. E1 will appear on the display. Press the "SET" button to change the symbol to
E5. There you can use ˄ (+) or ˅ (–) to change the units between Celsius (°C) and Farenheit
(°F). Celsius is set by default.
Refrigerators have the option of choosing a cooling mode. The two modes are MAX (fast
cooling, more energy consumption) and ECO (slower cooling, less energy consumption). The
default is MAX mode. To change the mode, press the "SET" button when the refrigerator is
turned on.
The V35 refrigerator has temperature control only in the larger compartment (freezing and
cooling from +10C to -20C). The smaller chamber is a refrigerator and its temperature
depends on the temperature in the freezer (when freezing -20C, the refrigerator is about
+1C). The smaller chamber has no freezing option (the temperature range of the smaller
chamber is from +1C to +20C). Example values of the temperature dependence between the
set temperature in the freezing section (upper row) and the temperature obtained in the
cooling section (lower row) are presented in the table below:
3.5. Battery protection mode
Refrigerators have three battery protection modes. They are shown as letters on the display:
L (low), M (medium) and H (high).

11
www.vigocool.eu
The battery protection function determines the voltage at which the refrigerator will shut down
(switch-off voltage). The device will restart when the battery is charged to the required value
(turn-on voltage). The default battery protection mode is high (H). In order to change the
battery protection mode, hold down the "SET" button for a few seconds, and then change the
mode by pressing the "SET" button. The table below shows the differences between the
different modes. It is worth remembering that the results may differ slightly between
individual models. High mode is recommended when connecting a refrigerator in a vehicle,
and medium and low mode when using portable/built-in batteries.
3.6. Connection to the application
The refrigerator can be controlled using an application downloaded to the phone. To do this,
download the VIGOCool SMART SOLUTION application from the Google Store or Apple
Store (for convenience, a QR code redirecting to the appropriate application is placed on the
product's carton). Then turn on the bluetooth function and turn on the location on your phone.
After turning on the application, search for the right device and select the refrigerator. After
completing these steps, "APP" should appear on the display of the refrigerator. When it is
displayed, press the "SET" button on the refrigerator to pair the two devices. From now on,
you can control your refrigerator with the app!

12
www.vigocool.eu
3.7. Internal battery
V40R, V42WB, V50R, V52WB and V62WB models have a special slot for an additional
battery. The battery is NOT included with the base model (except V42WB, V52WB and
V62WB) and can be purchased separately from the store. After installing the battery, turn it
on with the power button. When the battery runs out, recharge it. To do this, you can remove
it and connect it directly to the power supply, or leave it installed and turn off the refrigerator.
When the refrigerator is turned on, the power goes mainly to the compressor, so the battery
does not charge during the operation of the device.
3.8. Reversing the door opening direction
Refrigerator models V30, V40, V40R and V50R have the function of reversing the door
opening. The operation is simple and intuitive, just follow the instructions provided.
