stronger than soap an water are rarely

Electrical Requirements

he cooling fan should be operating when
the unit is in operation. If you notice the
cooling fan is not operating or you observe
unusual or excessive noise coming from the
cooling fan, contact a Viking Authorized
Service Center before continuing operation.
Failure to do so can result in damage to the
oven or surrounding cabinets.
• Viking Range Corporation will NOT
warranty any problems resulting from GFI
outlets which are not installe properly or
o not meet the requirements below.
If the use of a GFI is required, it shoul be:
• Of the receptacle type (breaker type or
portable type NOT recommen e )
• Use with permanent wiring only
(temporary or portable wiring NOT
recommen e )
• On a e icate circuit (no other
receptacles, switches or loa s in the
circuit)
• Connecte to a stan ar breaker of
appropriate size (GFI breaker of the same
size NOT recommen e )
• Rate for Class A (5 mA +/- 1 mA trip
current) as per UL 943 stan ar
• In goo con ition an free from any
loose-fitting gaskets (if applicable in
out oor situations)
• Protecte from moisture (water, steam,
high humi ity) as much as reasonably
possible
Electrical Requirements
This pro uct is manufacture with the
neutral terminal connecte to the cabinet.
Use a 3-wire, agency approve , power
supply kit with close loop terminals rate
per the National Electrical Co e, ANSI/NFPA
70-latest e ition (See Rating chart below). If
local co es prohibit groun ing through the
neutral, use a 4-wire, agency approve ,
power supply kit with close loop terminals
rate per the National Electrical Co e,
ANSI/NFPA 70-latest e ition (See Rating
chart below).
