1 Accessing the Old Power Supply Unit
Before you start the procedure:
1. Switch off and disconnect the amplifier from the power mains
2. Remove all the connection cables from the amplifier
3. Remove the top panel by unscrewing the 8 Torx screws (6 on top, 2 at rear) using a T10 bit
When the top panel is removed, you will see the Power Supply Unit (PSU) located at the side of the
amplifier cabinet.
2 Demounting the Old Power Supply Unit
2.1 Removing the Fan
Before demounting the PSU, the fan attached to the unit has to be removed.
1. Unplug the fan connector from the main board
2. Use a PZ2 bit to unscrew the side M4 screw and bottom M4 screw on the flange of the fan

3. Tilt the fan up from under the cabinet flange and lift it out
2.2 Removing the PSU
1. Remove the M4 screw at the bottom
2. Unplug the following cables from the PSU (Note the connector positions of the cables)
2x 6-pin red & black DC cables
10-pin yellow signal cable
2-pin red & black DC cable
3. Use a hex key to remove the 2 button-head M4 screws from the back panel of the amplifier

Remove the PSU according to the following procedure:
1. Press the PSU to the front of the cabinet
2. Press the PSU to the center of the cabinet to release it from the bottom clamp at the side-wall
3. Tilt the PSU and lift it out
3 Installing the New Power Supply Unit
To install the new PSU:
1. Insert the PSU in an angled position
2. Slide the bottom-edge of the unit under the clamp at the side-wall of the cabinet
3. Press the PSU to the rear and slide the top edge under the rear cabinet flange
4. Use a hex key to insert and fasten the 2 button-head M4 screws at the back panel of the
amplifier

5. Insert and fasten the M4 screw at the bottom
6. Plug the following cables back into their original connector positions on the PSU
2x 6-pin red & black DC cables
10-pin yellow signal cable
2-pin red & black DC cable
7. Install the fan by using a PZ2 bit to insert and fasten the side M4 screw and bottom M4
screw on the flange of the fan
8. Plug the fan connector back into the main board
9. Put the top panel back in place and fasten with the 8 Torx screws
