Safety Precautions
WARNING to reduce the risk of serious personal injury:
Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on
the appliance (underside the kettle & base) corresponds with the voltage in your home.
Do not let the cord hang over edge of table counter or touch hot surface.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
The attached base can not be used for other than intended use.
Do not move the unit while the kettle is switched on.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
CAUTION to reduce the risk of personal injury or product property damage:
Unplug from the outlet when not in use.
Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast.
Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water is boiling. Scalding may occur
if the lid is removed during the brewing cycles.
Be careful when opening the lid for refilling when the kettle is hot.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

For the First Use
If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you clean your
kettle before use by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discarding the water.

VIOMI guarantees the consumer THE PERIOD OF 1 YEAR from the date of purchase.
During this 1 year period, if you discover that any parts of the VIOMI are damagedelectric kettle
or broken, due to any manufacturing defects, we will replace the parts free of charge.

Operation
To fill water into the kettle, remove it from the
power base and open the lid by press down
the lid opening button, fill with the desired amount
of water to the kettle. Always fill the kettle between
the minimum (0.5L) and maximum (1.5L) marks.
Too little water will result in the kettle switching
off before the water has boiled.
Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out of the spout when boiling.
Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before connecting the power cord to the outlet.
Close the lid. Position the kettle on the power
base in place. Make sure the kettle contact
with the power base completely. Then the
indicator light will turn on to show the current
water temperature.

Boiling Mode, the indicator number will
increase until the water temperature go up
to 100℃. The indicator will turn off after a
few minutes without any action.

Warm Mode
The orange light will turn on all the time after you press the warm button, the kettle will
heating automatically when the temperature is lower than the setting temperature.
There are 4 modes(50℃, 70℃, 80℃, 90℃) were designed
in the kettle, choose the mode you need by press the warm
button intermittent.
Default temperature is 50℃, keep warm function will last 12 hours.
The indicator number will flash after the warm button was pushed, it will stop flashing
with no operation in 2 seconds which means the current warm mode was set.
Long press the warm button for 3 seconds to stop warming.
Boil-Dry Protection
You should accidentally allow the kettle to operate without water, the boil-dry protection will
automatically switch it off. If this should occur, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold
water and re-boiling.

The kettle will begin to heat after press the warm button,
it will stop heating until 100℃.

Then the temperature will begin to reduce slowly, the kettle
will reheat when the temperature is lower than the setting
temperature.

Removal of Mineral Deposits
Pour 0.5L white vinegar into the kettle and
soak it more than 1 hour. Do not boil.
Discard the white vinegar and use wet
cloth to clean inside.
Fill water to boiling and discard it, clean it for
4-5 times with tap water.
Use dry cloth to clean outside of the kettle,
store it in dry condition.
Care and Cleaning
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and leave it to cool down
completely before cleaning.
Never immerse the kettle in water, or allow moisture to contact with these parts.
