Warning

This product is intended to filter tap water only. Do not use water of unknown quality or that has been
microbiologically impaired.
Use VIOMI filter only, the use of any other filter will produce unknown results and is not recommended.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Dispose of the disassembled packaging in time and do not let children touch or swallow.
Use this product only as indicated in these instructions.
Caution
Place only cold or room temperature water into the product for filtering.
Avoid passing warm or hot water through the filter.
Do not boil any part of this product.
Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners or pads on the product.
Do not place any part of this product in dishwasher for cleaning.
If the pitcher or reservoir is broken or cracked, replace the whole product. If the filter is
damaged, replace only the filter.

VIOMI filter has been tested and verified by independent laboratory testing and also complies with
NSF/ANSI 58 Standard.
Advantages
7-Stages Filter
Advanced filtration system that includes a 7-stage process. This system is more complete than normal
carbon water filtration. It filters all the impurities such as lead, mercury, aluminum, zinc, chlorine, and
chemicals. As a result, the water tastes good, has no odor and still has the beneficial fluoride.
Ultraviolet Disinfection
The pitcher features a unique UV Disinfection Device that can remove from water up to 99% of
Escherichia coli, staphylococcus aureus, klebsiella pneumoniae, salmonella enteritidis, shigella
dysenteriae. So it produces clean and balanced water that has a great taste, free of harmful
contaminants and still rich in healthy minerals.

Preparations
Unpacking Pitcher, Reservoir and Filter

Hand wash pitcher, lid and reservoir with a
soft cloth soaked in mild detergent and water.
Do not use abrasive cleaners. Rinse well.
Prepare the Filter

NOTE: Do not wash the pitcher in dishwasher;
Do not immerse it with charging connector in water.
Soak the filter upright in cold water for 10 minutes,
gently shaking it to remove air bubbles. Then rinse
filter under running tap water for a few seconds.
TIP: Use purified water to immerse the filter for
better filtering effect activation.
NOTE: Do not immerse the filter in pitcher to
avoid damage of UV disinfection device.
Installation the Filter

Press the filter firmly down into the tube of the
reservoir to ensure a tight seal.
Put the reservoir back to pitcher, and cover
with the lid.
Fill the reservoir with cold tap water and allow
the water to filter through.
Discard your first two pitchers of filtered water
(about 3L water), or use this water for plants.
Set the Filter Life Indicator

TIP: It is normal to appear grey water in your first two filterings because of the carbon dust.
Long press the reset button for 3 seconds until
all lights on to turn on the filter life indicator.

Operation Instructions
Filling Water
Fill tap water(about 1.5L) into reservoir
through reservoir fill door (automatically
open with enough water pressure).

Pour tap water on the side of the reservoir
rather than directly on top of the filter.
Allow water to filter completely before pouring
or refilling reservoir.
3Disinfection
When water reaches the level of UV
disinfection device, press the touch button
to turn on the light to work.
It will stop working in 2 minutes, the indicator
will automatically light off.
Then the water in pitcher is ready for drinking.
4Charging UV Disinfection Device
Use the USB charging cable in the package.
Connect the device with 5V output, such as phone
charger or computer USB connector.
The red light will turn on when charging; the blue
light will turn on after full charging.
NOTE: UV disinfection device could not be turn
on if the water did not cover the device. NOTE: DO NOT use the device when charging

FOR BEST RESULT: Store the pitcher in the refrigerator or in a cool location. If the water has been leaving for
several days, discard it and refill the pitcher with fresh water.

Replacing Filter

Check

Press the STATUS button, blue
indicator lights will show the
filter life remain.
For example, when “25%” indicator
flashes quickly, it means the filter
need to be changed soon.
Replace

Take out the used filter and follow
the first time use instructions to
prepare and install the new filter.
TIP: New filter is available on Amazon
or any other VIOMI distributors.
Reset

Long press the reset button for
3 seconds till all lights on, which
means the new filter reset
successfully and ready to work.
Replacing Indicator
1Hold the Buttons from Two Sides
Two fingers firmly hold the lock buttons
until the indicator could be took out.
NOTE: The filter life indicator contains a non
-replaceable sealed battery designed to last
2 years, depending on usage. After 2 years
the pitcher is still functional, the indicator will
eventually stop working.
2Replace the Indicator
Take out used indicator and replace it
with a new one.
TIP: New filter life indicator is available on
Amazon or any other VIOMI distributors.
SUGGESTION: For maximum efficiency and hygiene, it is suggested to change filter every 6 weeks.

Troubleshooting

Warranty
VIOMI guarantees the consumer THE PERIOD OF NINETY (90) DAYS from the date of purchase, except for
the filter which is warranted for 30 days.
During this 90-day period, if you discover that any parts of the VIOMI pitcher are damaged or broken, due to
any manufacturing defects, we will replace the parts free of charge.
VIOMI water filter pitcher, when used strictly in accordance with instructions, has the effects on municipally
treated, potable tap water described in the enclosed literature.
