SETTING THE STEP LENGTH
In orderto calculate the distance the userhas walked or jogged, the pedometerneeds the usersstep
length. Follow these steps toobtain the steplengthand enterit into the pedometer.
Measure the user’s step length toe-to-toe orheel-to-heel.Formore accurate results, measure the
distance of 10 stepsand divide the distance by 10 to get the usersaverage step length.
To enterthe step length, Make sure the unit is in step mode.
Pressand hold S until the clock starts flashing.Repeatedly pressSuntil the CM or IN flashes on the
bottom screen. Repeatedly press Runtil the correct distance for the useris displayed. Range
between 30cm (12”) - 150cm (60”). Wait for 5 seconds, the setting menu will close and the users
new step lengthwill be saved.
USING THE PEDOMETER
Press R to reset steps, miles, calories and activity to 0.
Clip the pedometeron yourbelt.The pedometermustbe in a vertical position, otherwise incorrect
readingsmay result.
Start to walk or jog as younormally do.
PAUSING THE PEDOMETER
To pause the unit from recordingyour stepspressandhold ll for 3 seconds. The wordPAUSEwill be
displayed.
To continue recording yoursteps once paused, pressll for 3 seconds.
ANNOUNCING THE NUMBERS OF STEPS, DISTANCE,
CALORIES AND TIME.
Press T. The pedometerwillannounce the displayedoption onthe bottomLCD screen. Press and
hold T to make the unit announce the steps, time active, calories and current time.
USING THE MEMORY FUNCTION
The pedometercanstore the data from the last 7 days of use. Press[M] (memory button) tocycle
throughthe storeddata. Starting with the day before (day 1) and workingbackwardsto day 7. To
exit the memoryto clear the 7 days of data memory press and hold[M] (memory Button) for5
seconds.
