The DAH-HDMI1-4-4K2K Splitter with EDID Management has been tested for conformance to

all electronic equipments, the DAH-HDMI1-4-4K2K should be used with care. Please read and

INTRODUCTION
The DAH-HDMI1-4-4K2K Splitter with EDID Management provides the most cost effective and
advanced HDMI splitter solution on the market, by which the high denition video and high qua-
lity audio can be transmitted to 4 different locations without losing quality. DAH-HDMI1-4-4K2K
supports all 3D formats and the true 4K2K video!
With built-in RS-232 rmware update mechanism, the compatibility among countless HDMI
sources and receivers can be further guaranteed. With the upmost 36 bit deep color video and
high denition audio support, DAH-HDMI1-4-4K2K is suitable for high quality HDMI broadcas-
ting, digital signage and education applications!

Automatic EDID learning will detect all the connected HDMI equipped monitors and
analyze all the content of EDID. The EDID with minimal resolution support will be the
reference EDID for incoming HDMI source players.

HARDWARE INSTALLATION
CONNECTION DIAGRAM
Broadcasts HDMI signal to 4 HDMI displays
1. Switch off all devices, including monitors.
2. Connect to the receivers.
3. Connect an HDMI source (such as a Blu-ray Disc player) to the HDMI In.
4. Plug in 5V DC power supply.
5. Power on the HDMI monitors.
6. Power on the HDMI source.

NOTICE
While connecting a new monitor to the splitter under mode6(auto EDID) & mode7(EDID lear-
ning), experiencing a short period of time without display might be expected. The splitter will do
Automatic EDID learning which analyzes the newly connected monitor to see if the EDID for the
HDMI input is necessary to update!
For rmware update through Mini-USB, users MUST turn the power off, set the dip switch to
“ON”, and then connect an Mini-USB cable between PC and device. Open the rmware update
software, [1] set the correct com port and baud rate (57600 is recommended), [2] click the “File”
button to direct to the rmware HEX or BIN le, power on the device and press “Program MCU”
symbol to rmware update. Once update process is done, please power off the device and set
the dip switch back to “1”.upate process is completed! After rmware update is successfully ac-
complished, please unplug USB cable and power off the splitter!
WARRANTY

The SELLER warrants the DAH-HDMI1-4-
4K2K free from defects in the material and
workmanship for 1 year from the date of
purchase from the SELLER or an authorized
dealer. Should this product fail to be in good
working order within 1 year warranty period,
The SELLER, at its option, repair or replace
the unit, provided that the unit has not been
subjected to accident, disaster, abuse or any
unauthorized modications including static
discharge and power surge.
This warranty is offered by the SELLER for its
BUYER with direct transaction only. This war-
ranty is void if the warranty seal on the metal
housing is broken.
Unit that fails under conditions other than
those covered will be repaired at the current
price of parts and labor in effect at the time of
repair. Such repairs are warranted for 90 days
from the day of reshipment to the BUYER. If
the unit is delivered by mail, customers agree
to insure the unit or assume the risk of loss or
damage in transit. Under no circumstances will
a unit be accepted without a return authorizati-
on number.
The warranty is in lieu of all other warranties
expressed or implied, including without limita-
tions, any other implied warranty or tness or
merchantability for any particular purpose, all
of which are expressly disclaimed.
Proof of sale may be required in order to claim
warranty. Customers outside Taiwan are re-
sponsible for shipping charges to and from
the SELLER. Cables and power adapters
are limited to a 30 day warranty and must be
free from any markings, scratches, and neatly
coiled.
