GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCT
The hghest qualty polymethylacrylate, n other words, "Acrylc" s used as the prmary materal n the producton of VtrA Acrylc
Bathtub Systems. Acrylc whch has a hgh wear resstance s preferred because t can be easly cleaned and does not host
mcroorgansms.Acrylc s known to be one of most accommodatng materals for human nature. Havng a flexble structure,
acrylc mantans ts reslence aganst mpacts and does not deform. Any small scratches whch mght occur on the surface can
easly be elmnated through polshng. Acrylc products do not lose ther shne due to a homogenous dstrbuton of color cells,
and saves the “first day appearance” over years.
The acrylc plates used n the producton of VtrA VtrA Acrylc Bathtub Systems meet the EN 263 Standards for Acrylc Plates
and are suppled from Lucte Internatonal (ICI) whch s one of the leadng producers n the word. The plates are assured aganst
wear and tear through a ten-year agng test conducted by TUBITAK.
As the Acrylc Hydromassage Bathtubs are produced n complance wth EN6035 – 1 / EN60335 -2-60 standards, Vtra meets
the TS 301-DIN 2440 standards n leg sets and EN 274 standards n flushers.
The usage lfe of the product s 10 years as per the communqué on “After-sale Servces of Industral products” publshed by TR
the Mnstry of Industry and Trade.
MATTERS REQUIRING ATTENTION DURING SHIPPING AND TRANSPORTATION
1- The products should be transported and placed accordng to the transportaton and protecton sgns found on the package.
2- Durng the forklft carrage of products shpped n crates or cardboard packagng you should make use of pallets.
3- In order to prevent products from breakng durng ther storage and protecton they should be placed n accordance wth the
drecton ndcated on the packagng and placng them on top of one another should be avoded.
4- Product parts removed from packages opened for the purpose of carryng to floors should be checked and carred n a
protected manner.
5- The protectve film cover over the product should not be removed before transportaton, nstallaton and repar transactons.
CAUTION! Chldren should be allowed to use the product only under supervson.

• VtrA Shower Seats are under warranty for 2 years from the purchase date.
• In order that you wll benefit from “2-year warranty” applcaton please have the Warranty Certficate approved by
Intema Store or Intema Authorzed Seller from whch you purchase the shower seat or VtrA - Artema Authorzed

1- The bathtub should be nstalled to a structurally prepared floor.
2- If the bathtub s purchased wth a packagng on pallets, the leg sets must be nstalled to the bathtub. In ths case the leg profiles are prepared to
be nstalled on the bathtub. The bathtub s placed upsde down on a clean floor and the U shaped legs are nserted to the toggle and fixed to the
bottom of the product va two screws.
3- The toggle screws are tghtened.
4- Remove the protectve folo of the bathtub from Its sdes that are touchng the wall and from the area around the sphon.
(Note: The remanng protectve folo on the bathtub should be removed only after the bathtub nstallaton and other constructon works n the
bathroom are finshed.)
5- Place the bathtub to the nstallaton area.
6- Adjust and level the leg set accordng to the heght of the panel. Check the evenness wth a scale. (See the Techncal Data Sheet for the panel
heght).
7- Tghten the let sets nuts.
8- Mark the leg set nstallaton holes (Cauton! No hole should be drlled on heated and solated floors!).
9- The ponts on the wall tles whch are marked for nstallng the wall hangers are drlled wth a drllng machne (tp 10) and the wall hangers are
fixed (The techncal detals are gven n the "Wall Hanger Detals” secton of the Techncal Data Sheet.)
10- Prepare the bathtub sphon for nstallaton. (At ths stage do not forget to remove protectve folo on the bathtub around the sphon hole.)

Ponts that Requre Attenton:
• We recommend the bathtub to be nstalled after tlng the wall tles and other constructon related works n the bathroom are completed.
• The techncal detals of the bathtub s provded n the Techncal Data Sheet.
• Faucets should be nstalled as shown on the Techncal Data Sheet.
• If a wall-mounted bathtub mxer s preferred the approprate mxer should be nstalled on the wall n accordance wth the nstructons
provded n the Techncal Data Sheet.
• It should be ensured that the floor tles are even and the walls are straght (90 °) before startng nstallaton.
• Cold and hot water connectons must already be realzed.
• If ths s a hydromassage bathtub the electrcal connecton should be prepared as shown n the Techncal Data Sheet.

11- Apply slcone on the sphon dran seal and the bearng seal,
12- Install the bathtub sphon you’ve prepared.
13- It s not requred to fix the leg set of the bathtub to the floor when wall hangers are used. However for un straght walls. The bathtub leg set
nstallaton holes are drlled wth a drllng machne (tp 7-8) (Cauton: No hole should be drlled on heated and solated floors.)
14- Screw the leg set to the floor.

18-19- If the sde panel wll be used wth the product, mark the floor where the panel supports are to be fixed and fix the panel supports to the
floor usng slcone.
20- Remove the protectve folo on the panels.
Note: If ths Is a hydro massage bathtub, the electrcal connecton should be made.
21- For rectangular bathtubs, first the sde panel and later the front panel are nstalled to the bathtub. For corner bathtub panels, fixed metal
clps are avalable for panel nstallaton under the front sde rms of bathtub to fix the panel. The panel’s nstallaton s started from one corner
by attachng the top band of the panel to these clps.

22- Slcone s appled between the bathtub and the wall n order to prevent any leakage
23- Addtonal edge lath applcaton can be carred out f requred. However solaton between wall and bathtub must be ensured before the
applcaton of edge lath. The edge lath s nstalled by applyng slcone along the length of both surfaces of the edge lath whch wll come nto
contact wth the bathtub and the wall.
24- The nstallaton of the bathtub s complete. Any protectve folo remanng on the bathtub should be removed only after all of the constructon
works n the bathroom are finshed.

15- The bathtub s fixed to the wall by tghtenng the cap screws of the wall hangers.
16- Sphon outlet Is connected to the water dran. Perform leak proofing tests.
17- Panel supportng brackets are adjusted and screwed.

1-2 Bathtub must be carred upsde down. It must never be carred by holdng from ts panel
3- In ths seres a ‘hdden overflow’ s nstalled to plan and hydro massage bathtubs by the manufacturer. Therefore the product comes wth the
sphon nstalled. The bathtub s placed on the nstallaton area and the permeter of ts bottom s marked. Insde the marked area, the 50
mm dameter waste water dran ppe s nstalled from the center shown n the drawng, at the pont ndcated by the letter “A”, and the water
nlet ppes are nstalled to the centerlne of the faucet above the bathtub, at the pont ndcated by the letter “C", as llustrated n the techncal
dagram. If ths s a hydro massage (hydro massage) bathtub, a 220 V phase, neutral and earth electrc lnes are requred to be connected
nsde the marked area, n accordance wth the orentaton of the bathtub (seethe area ndcated by the letter “E").No water dran muff should
be left n the area ndcated by the letter “B”. External faucet applcaton should be carred wth a mnmum dstance of 100mm to the bathtub
and n accordance wth the bathtub placement. The axle dstance between the hot and cold water nlet ppes should be adjusted n
accordance wth the techncal drawng of the faucet. (See the Techncal Data Sheet for the techncal scheme).
7- The parts of the bathtub’s monoblock sdes that touch the floor should be marked. The panel supportng brackets should be pulled nsde at
the thckness of the acrylc and they should be fixed to the floor wth slcone. Accordngly, movement of the bathtub on the floor s
prevented.
8- The sphon dran ppe connecton and also the electrcal connecton (f the product s hydromassage) of the bathtub should be made

11- When the nfrastructure nstallaton s completed the taken down from the bearng supports. When deemed necessary apply slcone to
several ponts between the bathtub panel and the floor and complete the nstallaton
12- The nstallaton of the monoblock bathtub s completed. Any remanng protectve folo on the bathtub should be removed only after the
bathtub nstallaton and any other constructon worksn the bathroom are finshed.

6- For the nfrastructure nstallaton, the bathtub s placed on bearng supports at the nstallaton area.
Cauton: Durng the nfrastructure nstallaton, the bathtub should not be tlted sdeways and no weght should be placed on ts sde panels.

DUO MAXI SYSTEM: In the DUOMAXISystem, there are ar and water massage optons whch can work ndvdually or n combnaton.
Whle the water s ntroduced nto the bathtub through 18 mcro water jets va a pump; ar s ntroduced nto the bathtub through 10 ar
jets located on the base of the tub by means of a blower. All of the functons of the system are controlled by an Electronc Control Panel
whch s present only n the DUOMAXI system. The system, where all vsble parts (jet, ar controller, etc.) chrome over brass, has 4 ar
controllers. The bathtub has a safety system (sensor) that prevents the motor from operatng when the tub s empty or the water level s
not 3cm above the topmost jets. 2 halogen lamps can be nstalled f desred. The Electronc Control Panel has 7 or 9 functons,
dependng on whether the system s preferred wth or wthout lamps. These functons are as follows:
• Contnuous Water Massage
• Intermttent Water Massage
• Contnuous Ar Massage
• Intermttent Ar Massage
• Contnuous Lght
• Intermttent Lght (The contnuous and ntermttent lght functons can be used only f the product s suppled wth lamps)
• Water Intensty Adjustment (Automatc and Manual)
• Ar Intensty Adjustment (Automatc and Manual)
• Automatc Dsnfecton Program
IMPORTANT NOTE: The specfied number of jets n the massage system may vary accordng to the bathtub model, due to
techncal reasons.
Cauton: In bathtubs wth DUOMAXISystem, the ‘ar blower’ wll automatcally actvate 20 mnutes after the hydro massage system s
used and the tub starts to empty n order to dry the water that mght reman n the ppes (operaton duraton s 1 mnute). In order for
ths system, whch s present n order to ncrease the hygene of your hydro massage system the breaker must be open. Close the
‘breaker’, whch we have nstalled n order to protect your massage system and recommend you to keep closed when not usng the
system, after the ar blower automatcally actvates and deactvates.
Exquste: Ths s the electronc panel where the functons of the DUOMAXI massage system are controlled from.
Mcro water jet: These are jets located on the nner sde surfaces of the bathtub wth 30 mm dameter, where the water sucked nto
the bathtub are ntroduced back nto the bathtub through a pump. It s possble to mx the ar n the envronment nto the water sprayed
through the jets by means of the ar controllers. There are 18 mcro water jets n the DUOMAXISystem.
Ar jet: These are jets located on the base of the bathtub wth 30mm dameter, where the ar s ntroduced nto the bathtub through a
blower. There are 10 ar jets n the DUOMAXIsystem. Care should be taken not to block the ar jets durng use or cleanng. Snce
blocked ar jets wll prevent ar from extng the heatng that mght occur nsde can damage the blower.
Water sucton filter: Ths s a filter that enables the water nsde the bathtub to be sucked by a pump.Care should be taken to keep
har and clothng away from the filter whle t s n operaton.
Ar controller: It s possble to ntroduce ar from the envronment nto the water pumped nto the bathtub through the water jets, and
thus ncrease the effectveness of the massage. The amount of ar to be mxed wth water can be adjusted through ar controllers. If the
ar controllers are fully closed only water wll ext the jets.The more the ar controllers open, the more ar wll ext the jets. There are 4 ar
controllers n DUOMAXISystem. Each of these effect the jets located n dfferent corners.
Halogen lamp: Each lamp s 50W strong. 2 halogen lamps can be nstalled n DUOMAXISystem, f desred.It s not recommended that
the lamps be used when the bathtub s not full wth water. Long terms use n ths manner can damage the lamp due to overheatng.

Only the and buttons are pressed untl you reach the desred value.

Your bathtubs functons related wth massage are operated usng the ‘Control Panel’ mounted on the bathtub. It s sufficent to
press the relevant button for approxmately 0.5 seconds to actvate the functon you desre to use. You should avod pressng
the buttons for a very long tme.
All buttons belongng to a functon are grouped wth a frame on the control panel and thus made vsbly more functonal. Any
functon’s on/off status can be seen by the “warnng lght” located on the upper-rght corner of the button.

Usage warnngs:
• The dsnfecton procedures should be performed only wth Hydro-Bac dsnfectants. A dfferent dsnfectant could harm the
system. Any malfunctons and/or damages that could occur due to ths are not covered by the ‘Scope of the Warranty’.
Hydro-Bac dsnfectant can be suppled from VtrA-Artema Authorzed Servces.
• It s recommended that your massage bathtub be dsnfected every 3-6 weeks, dependng on your frequency of use. It s
possble to use the water remanng n the bathtub after a bath for ths purpose.
• The dsnfecton procedure can only be performed when the bathtub s full.
The bathtub should be filled wth water before startng dsnfecton(the water level should be at least 3 cm hgher than the level of
the jets located on the sdes). It s possble to use the water remanng n the bathtub after a bath for dsnfecton.Also, t should
be checked whether there’s sufficent dsnfectant n the system or not. If the dsnfectant tank s empty, the “warnng lght” of the
button llumnates.Ths lght turn off after the dsnfectant tank s filled wth 1 lter of a sutable dsnfectant(Hydro-Bac). The
dsnfecton system cannot be operated whle the red warnng lght of the mentoned button s llumnated.
Preparaton:
The button s pressed and held untl the blnkng warnng lght on t llumnates contnuously. (The system start requrng
pressng the button for a long tme s a precauton to prevent the system’s operaton by accdent – for example by chldren).If the
water level s sufficent the dsnfecton operaton starts. If there’s a problem the red warnng lght starts to blnk quckly(Error
Message:In such a case please see ‘Problems and Solutons’ secton).
Startng dsnfecton:
The pump starts to operate and the dsnfecton valve opens.The pump takes dsnfectant from the tank as long as the valve s
open. When the specfied amount of dsnfectant s receved the system automatcally stops. After 10 mnutes have passed the
system agan operates automatcally for 1 mnute, but ths tme t does not take dsnfectant. Ths procedure s repeated untl the
bathtub s dsnfected.The dsnfecton procedure contnues untl the red lght on the button swtches off.However, t s
recommended that the water nsde the bathtub be left n the tub for a few hours or overnght. Afterwards the bathtub s
empted, completely rnsed usng the shower head and agan filled wth cold water. All functons are started a couple of tmes for
short perods of tme. The bathtub s empted agan and the sphon outlet s left open untl the next use of the bathtub.
Dsnfecton procedure:
Manually Stoppng Dsnfecton:
The dsnfecton procedure can be stopped by pressng the button twce.
The error message can be cancelled by pressng the button.
Problems and Solutons:

DUO SOFT SYSTEM: In the DUO SOFT System, there are ar and water massage optons whch can work ndvdually or n
combnaton. Whle the water s ntroduced nto the bathtub through 6 water jets va a pump; ar s ntroduced nto the bathtub through
10 ar jets located on the base of the tub by means of a blower. The system s controlled by an Electronc Control Button. The system,
where all vsble parts (jet, ar controller, etc.) are chrome over brass, has 2 ar controllers. The bathtub has a safety system (sensor) that
prevents the motor from operatng when the tub s empty or the water level s not 3 cm above the topmost jets. 2 halogen lamps can
be nstalled f desred. The Electronc Control Button has 5 or 7 functons, dependng on whether the system s preferred wth or wthout
lamps. These functons are as follows:
•Contnuous Water Massage
•Contnuous Ar Massage
•Contnuous Lght
•Ar Intensty Adjustment
•Intermttent Water Massage
•Intermttent Ar Massage
•Intermttent Lght (The contnuous and ntermttent lght functons can be used only f the product s suppled wth lamps)
IMPORTANT NOTE: The number of jets specfied n the massage system can vary accordng to the bathtub model due to techncal
reasons.
