GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCT
The hghest qualty polymethylacrylate, n other words, "Acrylc" s used as the prmary materal n the producton of VtrA Acrylc
Bathtub Systems. Acrylc whch has a hgh wear resstance s preferred because t can be easly cleaned and does not host
mcroorgansms.Acrylc s known to be one of most accommodatng materals for human nature. Havng a flexble structure,
acrylc mantans ts reslence aganst mpacts and does not deform. Any small scratches whch mght occur on the surface can
easly be elmnated through polshng. Acrylc products do not lose ther shne due to a homogenous dstrbuton of color cells,
and saves the “first day appearance” over years.
The acrylc plates used n the producton of VtrA VtrA Acrylc Bathtub Systems meet the EN 263 Standards for Acrylc Plates
and are suppled from Lucte Internatonal (ICI) whch s one of the leadng producers n the word. The plates are assured aganst
wear and tear through a ten-year agng test conducted by TUBITAK.
As the Acrylc Hydromassage Bathtubs are produced n complance wth EN6035 – 1 / EN60335 -2-60 standards, Vtra meets
the TS 301-DIN 2440 standards n leg sets and EN 274 standards n flushers.
The usage lfe of the product s 10 years as per the communqué on “After-sale Servces of Industral products” publshed by TR
the Mnstry of Industry and Trade.
MATTERS REQUIRING ATTENTION DURING SHIPPING AND TRANSPORTATION
1- The products should be transported and placed accordng to the transportaton and protecton sgns found on the package.
2- Durng the forklft carrage of products shpped n crates or cardboard packagng you should make use of pallets.
3- In order to prevent products from breakng durng ther storage and protecton they should be placed n accordance wth the
drecton ndcated on the packagng and placng them on top of one another should be avoded.
4- Product parts removed from packages opened for the purpose of carryng to floors should be checked and carred n a
protected manner.
5- The protectve film cover over the product should not be removed before transportaton, nstallaton and repar transactons.
CAUTION! Chldren should be allowed to use the product only under supervson.

1- The bathtub should be nstalled to a structurally prepared floor.
2- If the bathtub s purchased wth a packagng on pallets, the leg sets must be nstalled to the bathtub. In ths case the leg profiles are prepared to
be nstalled on the bathtub. The bathtub s placed upsde down on a clean floor and the U shaped legs are nserted to the toggle and fixed to the
bottom of the product va two screws.
3- The toggle screws are tghtened.
4- Remove the protectve folo of the bathtub from Its sdes that are touchng the wall and from the area around the sphon.
(Note: The remanng protectve folo on the bathtub should be removed only after the bathtub nstallaton and other constructon works n the
bathroom are finshed.)
5- Place the bathtub to the nstallaton area.
6- Adjust and level the leg set accordng to the heght of the panel. Check the evenness wth a scale. (See the Techncal Data Sheet for the panel
heght).
7- Tghten the let sets nuts.
8- Mark the leg set nstallaton holes (Cauton! No hole should be drlled on heated and solated floors!).
9- The ponts on the wall tles whch are marked for nstallng the wall hangers are drlled wth a drllng machne (tp 10) and the wall hangers are
fixed (The techncal detals are gven n the "Wall Hanger Detals” secton of the Techncal Data Sheet.)
10- Prepare the bathtub sphon for nstallaton. (At ths stage do not forget to remove protectve folo on the bathtub around the sphon hole.)

Ponts that Requre Attenton:
• We recommend the bathtub to be nstalled after tlng the wall tles and other constructon related works n the bathroom are completed.
• The techncal detals of the bathtub s provded n the Techncal Data Sheet.
• Faucets should be nstalled as shown on the Techncal Data Sheet.
• If a wall-mounted bathtub mxer s preferred the approprate mxer should be nstalled on the wall n accordance wth the nstructons
provded n the Techncal Data Sheet.
• It should be ensured that the floor tles are even and the walls are straght (90 °) before startng nstallaton.
• Cold and hot water connectons must already be realzed.
• If ths s a hydromassage bathtub the electrcal connecton should be prepared as shown n the Techncal Data Sheet.

11- Apply slcone on the sphon dran seal and the bearng seal,
12- Install the bathtub sphon you’ve prepared.
13- It s not requred to fix the leg set of the bathtub to the floor when wall hangers are used. However for un straght walls. The bathtub leg set
nstallaton holes are drlled wth a drllng machne (tp 7-8) (Cauton: No hole should be drlled on heated and solated floors.)
14- Screw the leg set to the floor.

18-19- If the sde panel wll be used wth the product, mark the floor where the panel supports are to be fixed and fix the panel supports to the
floor usng slcone.
20- Remove the protectve folo on the panels.
Note: If ths Is a hydro massage bathtub, the electrcal connecton should be made.
21- For rectangular bathtubs, first the sde panel and later the front panel are nstalled to the bathtub. For corner bathtub panels, fixed metal
clps are avalable for panel nstallaton under the front sde rms of bathtub to fix the panel. The panel’s nstallaton s started from one corner
by attachng the top band of the panel to these clps.

22- Slcone s appled between the bathtub and the wall n order to prevent any leakage
23- Addtonal edge lath applcaton can be carred out f requred. However solaton between wall and bathtub must be ensured before the
applcaton of edge lath. The edge lath s nstalled by applyng slcone along the length of both surfaces of the edge lath whch wll come nto
contact wth the bathtub and the wall.
24- The nstallaton of the bathtub s complete. Any protectve folo remanng on the bathtub should be removed only after all of the constructon
works n the bathroom are finshed.

15- The bathtub s fixed to the wall by tghtenng the cap screws of the wall hangers.
16- Sphon outlet Is connected to the water dran. Perform leak proofing tests.
17- Panel supportng brackets are adjusted and screwed.

1-2 Bathtub must be carred upsde down. It must never be carred by holdng from ts panel
3- In ths seres a ‘hdden overflow’ s nstalled to plan and hydro massage bathtubs by the manufacturer. Therefore the product comes wth the
sphon nstalled. The bathtub s placed on the nstallaton area and the permeter of ts bottom s marked. Insde the marked area, the 50
mm dameter waste water dran ppe s nstalled from the center shown n the drawng, at the pont ndcated by the letter “A”, and the water
nlet ppes are nstalled to the centerlne of the faucet above the bathtub, at the pont ndcated by the letter “C", as llustrated n the techncal
dagram. If ths s a hydro massage (hydro massage) bathtub, a 220 V phase, neutral and earth electrc lnes are requred to be connected
nsde the marked area, n accordance wth the orentaton of the bathtub (seethe area ndcated by the letter “E").No water dran muff should
be left n the area ndcated by the letter “B”. External faucet applcaton should be carred wth a mnmum dstance of 100mm to the bathtub
and n accordance wth the bathtub placement. The axle dstance between the hot and cold water nlet ppes should be adjusted n
accordance wth the techncal drawng of the faucet. (See the Techncal Data Sheet for the techncal scheme).
7- The parts of the bathtub’s monoblock sdes that touch the floor should be marked. The panel supportng brackets should be pulled nsde at
the thckness of the acrylc and they should be fixed to the floor wth slcone. Accordngly, movement of the bathtub on the floor s
prevented.
8- The sphon dran ppe connecton and also the electrcal connecton (f the product s hydromassage) of the bathtub should be made

10- Apply slcone on the bathtub legs’ parts whch contact the floor.
11- When the nfrastructure nstallaton s completed the taken down from the bearng supports. When deemed necessary apply slcone to
several ponts between the bathtub panel and the floor and complete the nstallaton
12- The nstallaton of the monoblock bathtub s completed. Any remanng protectve folo on the bathtub should be removed only after the
bathtub nstallaton and any other constructon worksn the bathroom are finshed.

6- For the nfrastructure nstallaton, the bathtub s placed on bearng supports at the nstallaton area.
Cauton: Durng the nfrastructure nstallaton, the bathtub should not be tlted sdeways and no weght should be placed on ts sde panels.

DUO MAXI SYSTEM: In the DUOMAXISystem, there are ar and water massage optons whch can work ndvdually or n combnaton.
Whle the water s ntroduced nto the bathtub through 18 mcro water jets va a pump; ar s ntroduced nto the bathtub through 10 ar
jets located on the base of the tub by means of a blower. All of the functons of the system are controlled by an Electronc Control Panel
whch s present only n the DUOMAXI system. The system, where all vsble parts (jet, ar controller, etc.) chrome over brass, has 4 ar
controllers. The bathtub has a safety system (sensor) that prevents the motor from operatng when the tub s empty or the water level s
not 3cm above the topmost jets. 2 halogen lamps can be nstalled f desred. The Electronc Control Panel has 7 or 9 functons,
dependng on whether the system s preferred wth or wthout lamps. These functons are as follows:
• Contnuous Water Massage
• Intermttent Water Massage
• Contnuous Ar Massage
• Intermttent Ar Massage
• Contnuous Lght
• Intermttent Lght (The contnuous and ntermttent lght functons can be used only f the product s suppled wth lamps)
• Water Intensty Adjustment (Automatc and Manual)
• Ar Intensty Adjustment (Automatc and Manual)
• Automatc Dsnfecton Program
IMPORTANT NOTE: The specfied number of jets n the massage system may vary accordng to the bathtub model, due to
techncal reasons.
Cauton: In bathtubs wth DUOMAXISystem, the ‘ar blower’ wll automatcally actvate 20 mnutes after the hydro massage system s
used and the tub starts to empty n order to dry the water that mght reman n the ppes (operaton duraton s 1 mnute). In order for
ths system, whch s present n order to ncrease the hygene of your hydro massage system the breaker must be open. Close the
‘breaker’, whch we have nstalled n order to protect your massage system and recommend you to keep closed when not usng the
system, after the ar blower automatcally actvates and deactvates.
Exquste: Ths s the electronc panel where the functons of the DUOMAXI massage system are controlled from.
Mcro water jet: These are jets located on the nner sde surfaces of the bathtub wth 30 mm dameter, where the water sucked nto
the bathtub are ntroduced back nto the bathtub through a pump. It s possble to mx the ar n the envronment nto the water sprayed
through the jets by means of the ar controllers. There are 18 mcro water jets n the DUOMAXISystem.
Ar jet: These are jets located on the base of the bathtub wth 30mm dameter, where the ar s ntroduced nto the bathtub through a
blower. There are 10 ar jets n the DUOMAXIsystem. Care should be taken not to block the ar jets durng use or cleanng. Snce
blocked ar jets wll prevent ar from extng the heatng that mght occur nsde can damage the blower.
Water sucton filter: Ths s a filter that enables the water nsde the bathtub to be sucked by a pump.Care should be taken to keep
har and clothng away from the filter whle t s n operaton.
Ar controller: It s possble to ntroduce ar from the envronment nto the water pumped nto the bathtub through the water jets, and
thus ncrease the effectveness of the massage. The amount of ar to be mxed wth water can be adjusted through ar controllers. If the
ar controllers are fully closed only water wll ext the jets.The more the ar controllers open, the more ar wll ext the jets. There are 4 ar
controllers n DUOMAXISystem. Each of these effect the jets located n dfferent corners.
Halogen lamp: Each lamp s 50W strong. 2 halogen lamps can be nstalled n DUOMAXISystem, f desred.It s not recommended that
the lamps be used when the bathtub s not full wth water. Long terms use n ths manner can damage the lamp due to overheatng.

Your bathtubs functons related wth massage are operated usng the ‘Control Panel’ mounted on the bathtub. It s sufficent to
press the relevant button for approxmately 0.5 seconds to actvate the functon you desre to use. You should avod pressng
the buttons for a very long tme.
All buttons belongng to a functon are grouped wth a frame on the control panel and thus made vsbly more functonal. Any
functon’s on/off status can be seen by the “warnng lght” located on the upper-rght corner of the button.

Usage warnngs:
• The dsnfecton procedures should be performed only wth Hydro-Bac dsnfectants. A dfferent dsnfectant could harm the
system. Any malfunctons and/or damages that could occur due to ths are not covered by the ‘Scope of the Warranty’.
Hydro-Bac dsnfectant can be suppled from VtrA-Artema Authorzed Servces.
• It s recommended that your massage bathtub be dsnfected every 3-6 weeks, dependng on your frequency of use. It s
possble to use the water remanng n the bathtub after a bath for ths purpose.
• The dsnfecton procedure can only be performed when the bathtub s full.
The bathtub should be filled wth water before startng dsnfecton(the water level should be at least 3 cm hgher than the level of
the jets located on the sdes). It s possble to use the water remanng n the bathtub after a bath for dsnfecton.Also, t should
be checked whether there’s sufficent dsnfectant n the system or not. If the dsnfectant tank s empty, the “warnng lght” of the
button llumnates.Ths lght turn off after the dsnfectant tank s filled wth 1 lter of a sutable dsnfectant(Hydro-Bac). The
dsnfecton system cannot be operated whle the red warnng lght of the mentoned button s llumnated.
Preparaton:
The button s pressed and held untl the blnkng warnng lght on t llumnates contnuously. (The system start requrng
pressng the button for a long tme s a precauton to prevent the system’s operaton by accdent – for example by chldren).If the
water level s sufficent the dsnfecton operaton starts. If there’s a problem the red warnng lght starts to blnk quckly(Error
Message:In such a case please see ‘Problems and Solutons’ secton).
Startng dsnfecton:
The pump starts to operate and the dsnfecton valve opens.The pump takes dsnfectant from the tank as long as the valve s
open. When the specfied amount of dsnfectant s receved the system automatcally stops. After 10 mnutes have passed the
system agan operates automatcally for 1 mnute, but ths tme t does not take dsnfectant. Ths procedure s repeated untl the
bathtub s dsnfected.The dsnfecton procedure contnues untl the red lght on the button swtches off.However, t s
recommended that the water nsde the bathtub be left n the tub for a few hours or overnght. Afterwards the bathtub s
empted, completely rnsed usng the shower head and agan filled wth cold water. All functons are started a couple of tmes for
short perods of tme. The bathtub s empted agan and the sphon outlet s left open untl the next use of the bathtub.
Dsnfecton procedure:

The dsnfecton procedure can be stopped by pressng the button twce.
The error message can be cancelled by pressng the button.
Problems and Solutons:

10 ar jets located on the base of the tub by means of a blower. The system s controlled by an Electronc Control Button. The system,
where all vsble parts (jet, ar controller, etc.) are chrome over brass, has 2 ar controllers. The bathtub has a safety system (sensor) that
prevents the motor from operatng when the tub s empty or the water level s not 3 cm above the topmost jets. 2 halogen lamps can
be nstalled f desred. The Electronc Control Button has 5 or 7 functons, dependng on whether the system s preferred wth or wthout
lamps. These functons are as follows:
•Contnuous Water Massage
•Contnuous Ar Massage
•Contnuous Lght
•Ar Intensty Adjustment
•Intermttent Water Massage
•Intermttent Ar Massage
•Intermttent Lght (The contnuous and ntermttent lght functons can be used only f the product s suppled wth lamps)
IMPORTANT NOTE: The number of jets specfied n the massage system can vary accordng to the bathtub model due to techncal
reasons.

WATER JET
It s used to actvate the 6water jets. When t s first pressed the water jets start to operate contnuously. If t s
pressed whle the water jets are n contnuous operaton they wll start operatng n ntervals.If t s pressed whle
the water jets are n ntermttent operaton they wll stop operatng.
HALOGEN LAMP
It s used n systems wth lamps. When t s first pressed the lamps start to operate contnuously. If t s pressed
whle the lamps are n contnuous operaton they wll start operatng n ntervals.If t s pressed whle the lamps are
n ntermttent operaton they wll stop operatng.
AIR JET

pump.The system s controlled by an Electronc Control Button. The system, where all vsble parts (jet, ar controller, etc.) are chrome
over brass, has 4 ar controllers. The bathtub has a safety system (sensor) that prevents the motor from operatng when the tub s
empty or the water level s not 3 cm above the topmost jets. 1 halogen lamp can be nstalled f desred. The Electronc Control Button
has 4 or 1 functons, dependng on whether the system s preferred wth or wthout lamps. These functons are as follows:
• Contnuous Water Massage
• Contnuous Lght
• Intermttent Water Massage
• Intermttent Lght (The contnuous and ntermttent lght functons can be used only f the product s suppled wth lamps)

har and clothng away from the filter whle t s n operaton.
Ar controller: It s possble to ntroduce ar from the envronment nto the water pumped nto the bathtub through the water jets, and
thus ncrease the effectveness of the massage. The amount of ar to be mxed wth water can be adjusted through ar controllers. If the
ar controllers are fully closed only water wll ext the jets.The more the ar controllers open, the more ar wll ext the jets. There are 4 ar
controllers n AQUA MAXI System.
Halogen lamp: Each lamp s 50W strong. 1 halogen lamps can be nstalled n the AQUA MAXI System, f desred. It s not
recommended that the lamps be used when the bathtub s not full wth water. Long terms use n ths manner can damage the lamp due
to overheatng.

AIR RELAX SYSTEM: In the AIR RELAX System the ar s ntroduced nto the water through 24mcro ar jets va a blower. The system
s controlled by an Electronc Control Button whch turns t on and off. The lghtng system dstrbuted to 24 ponts around the edges of
the bathtub softly cycles between the 7 basc colors and the desred color can be selected to fix t. Lghtng synchronzed wth the
bathtub lghts s provded around the control button.

Electronc Control Button: Ths s the electronc button where the functons of the AİR RELAX massage system are controlled from.
There are two electronc control buttons whch control the lghtng system and the ar massage system n the product. The ar system
button turns the ar massage on and off. The lghtng system button turn the cyclng lghts on and off and fixes t at the desred color.
Mcro Ar Jets: There are 24 mcro ar jets that blow ar located at the base of the bathtub. Care should be gven not to cover the mcro
ar jets durng use and cleanng. Coverng the mcro ar jets wll prevent ar from gettng out and the resultng nternal heatng can

MATTERS THAT REQUIRE ATTENTION!
• Acrylc s durable aganst acds and alkalnes.However do not let organc solutons used n dry cleanng, pant remover substances,
acetone or other solvents to your compact system.
• Keep lghted cgarettes away from the product.
• If the constructon actvtes n the bath wll contnue after nstallaton, do not remove the folo layer on the product and apply full
protecton to the product.
IMPORTANT:
• Protect you product wth a fuse. Keep the fuse closed when not usng your massage system.
• In bathtubs wth the Duo Max and Duo Soft systems, the ar blower automatcally operates 20 mnutes after the massage system s
used and the bathtub begns emptyng and dres the water remanng n the ppes. For ths system to work close the breaker of your
Duo Max and Duo Soft system after the ar blower operates and stops.
Important
• The electrcal nstallaton to whch you wll connect your product must have a 40A-30mA leak current relay.
• A “grounded lne” s mandatory for the electrcal connecton of hydro massage bathtubs.
• The cablng of the hydro massage bathtubs should be done as shown below.
• Persons (ncludng chldren) who lack the approprate physcal, sensory or mental capabltes; experence and/or knowledge
should be prevented from usng such applances wthout supervson or nstructon.
• Chldren should be prevented from playng wth the applance.
• The deal duraton for the hydro massage s 15-20 mnutes. We suggest you not to stay longer n the massage bathtub.
• If you have a serous medcal condton such as a heart problem you must consult your doctor before usng the massage bathtub.
• Wat for at least 1 hour after meals to use the massage bathtub.
• Addng bath bubbles, herbal aroma, etc. nto your bathtub durng hydro massage can damage the hydro massage system.
• The temperature of the water n the bathtub should be near body temperature (37C) for hydro massage.
• If you’re pregnant or have a heart condton you must consult a doctor regardng the condtons for usng hydro massage.
• After hydro massage, dry wth quck and lvely movements and use a mosturzng body loton.
CLEANING THE BATHTUB SYSTEMS
• Rght after you use your bathtub, clean t wth a lqud bath cleaner or a decalcfier and a soft cloth and warm water. Otherwse
unwanted soap products, drt and hard water wll create a thn layer on the acrylc surface and t wll become more dfficult to clean.
• Do not use hydrochlorc acd, abrasves, powdered detergents and cream detergents that contan powders, soft soap and
hard/scratchng cleanng sponges for cleanng your bathtub.
• All of the chrome parts on your product are removable. In order to prevent the corroson that mght occur due to usng excessvely
hard water t s recommended that these parts be dsassembled and cleaned wth decalcfyng cleanng agents once per month. Ths
procedure s shown n the Mantenance of Bathtub Systems secton.
Note: When products wth cabns, partcularly patterned productsare concerned, clean the glasses wth a soft cloth and warm water. Do
not use hydrochlorc acd, abrasve / powdered / lqud detergents soft soap or hard/scratchng cleanng sponges. Do not let organc
dlutons, pant removers, acetone and other solvents contact the glass.
• For products wth massage functonalty, ensure that the yellow-green groundng cable whch s connected to the metal parts under at
the undersde of the bathtub s connected to all of the feet.

• It s recommended to dsnfect the system once a month(once per 3-6 weeks accordng to use frequency) n bathtubs wth massage
functonalty
• Ths s carred out through usng the ‘automatc dsnfecton program’ n bathtubs wth Duo Max systems. Detaled nformaton
regardng the use of ths program s gven n page 6.
• In bathtubs employng one of Duo Soft, Aqua Max, Aqua Soft and Aqua Soft Easy systems, the dsnfecton procedure can be
carred out manually by followng the steps gven below.
1- The bathtub s filled wth water. (The water level should not be hgher than the jets.)
2- Recommended amount of a dsnfectant that does not harm the skn (Hydro-Bac) s placed nsde the water filled bathtub (ths
amount s 200 ml for Hydro-Bac).
3- The system s operated for 3 mnutes and the dsnfectant s allowed to reach every part of the system.
4- The system s stopped and 10 mnutes s allowed to pass.
5- The system s agan operated for 3 mnutes.
6- The system s stopped and 10 mnutes s allowed to pass.
7- The system s operated for 3 mnutes for a last tme.
8- The water nsde the bathtub s empted and the bathtub s re-filled wth clean water.
9- The system s operated for 2-3 mnutes wth the clean water and empted agan.
Problem Soluton
• The surface of the product s dull and/or
scratched.
• Ths s not a problem. In the bathtubs wth Duo Max and Duo Soft systems, the
“ar blower” wll automatcally start operaton 20 mnutes after the hydro massage
system s used and the tub starts emptyng n order to dry the water that could
reman n the ppes. Ths system s n place to ncrease the hygene of your hydro
massage system.
• If you force the control handle too much the sphon wre could break. Therefore
heght adjustment should be made by turnng the plug counter clock wse wthout
forcng the handle.
• Har, soap, etc. could clog the sphon n tme. Clean the sphon dran wth a dran
opener from tme to tme.
• Check the slcone applcaton between the bathtub and the wall
• Check f the Wall hangers are nstalled on the wall or not.
• The wall hangers must be used n order to preserve the rgdty of the bathtub
• Make sure that the water s filled to rse 3cm over the topmost jets
• Check the electrcal connecton.
• If your product s new, the protectve film layer on t mght not have been
removed.
• If dullness/scratches occur after a certan perod of use, you may be usng
ncorrect cleanng materals. See the 'Cleanng’ secton.
• The massage functon of my bathtub s not
workng.
