キャ ッ プ、乾燥剤、包装用ポリ 袋など を 、お子様が誤っ て飲みこ むこ と のないよ う にし てく ださ い。
水などがかかる 場所では使用し ないでく ださ い。
・ 炎天下の自動車の中やヒ ータ ーなど高温の発熱体の前に製品を 放置し ないでく ださ い。
・ 本体を 清掃する 際に、シ ン ナーなど 有機溶剤を 使用し ないで く ださ い。
・ 製品に、雨、水滴、泥、砂などがかから ないよ う にし てく ださ い。
・ レ ン ズ表面は手で触れないよう にし てく ださ い。指紋などでレ ン ズが汚れた場合は、市販のレン ズク リ ーナー
と レ ン ズク リ ーニン グペーパーを 使い、軽く 拭き と っ てく ださ い。
・ レ ン ズにほこ り やゴミ がついた場合は、市販のブ ロ アーブ ラ シなどで吹き 飛ばし てく ださ い。
・ 保管する 際は直射日光を 避け、風通し の良い乾燥し た場所に保管し てく ださ い。

●鏡筒の取付け方
鏡筒固定ネジ、脱落防止ネジ
を あら かじ めゆる めておき、
次に、鏡筒にある ア タ ッ チ
メ ント レ ールを 当てて、ネジ
を し めて固定し ます。
※ 先に鏡筒固定ネジを し め、次に
脱落防止ネジ を 締めてく ださ い。

●鏡筒の取付け方
スカ イ ポッ ド 、ポルタ 経緯台以外の機種に取付
ける 場合、付属の六角レ ン チで 専用アタ ッ チ メ
ン ト レ ールを つけ直すこ と がで き ます。
① 専用アタッチメント レールをいっ たんはずし ます。
② 図の様に鏡筒下部につけ直し ます。
③ 鏡筒固定ネジ、脱落防止ネジを あら かじ めゆ
るめておき、次に、鏡筒にある アタ ッ チメ ン ト
レ ールを 当てて、ネジを し めて固定し ま す。
※ 先に鏡筒固定ネジを し め、次に脱落防止ネジを し めてく ださ い。

※接眼レンズ（ 別売）を取り 付けないと 像が見えません。また、天体望遠鏡の倍率は接眼レンズよっ て決まり ます。（ 下記参照）

● 望遠鏡の倍率
m m数の小さ い接眼レ ンズ（ ＝倍率が高い
レ ン ズ）を 使用し ま すと 見える 像が暗く 、
ピ ント の合う 範囲が狭いので 見づら く な
り ます。
観測のはじ めは、必ずmm数の大き な 接眼
レ ン ズを 使用し てく ださ い。
望遠鏡の倍率は対物レ ン ズ／主鏡の焦点
距離を 接眼レ ン ズの焦点距離で割っ た数
字です。
例： 焦点距離1035mmの望遠鏡に接眼レ ン ズを 付けた場合
接眼レンズ 望遠鏡の焦点距離÷接眼レンズの焦点距離＝倍率

天体望遠鏡の高倍率でそのま ま目標物を 探すのは、と て も 難し いこ と で す。そこ で、目標物を 簡単に探すための
補助望遠鏡（ 装置）がフ ァ イン ダーです。天体観測の前には、必ずフ ァ イ ンダー合わせ（ 調整）をし ておきまし ょ う 。

Attaching the Telescope to your Mount (VMC110L shown here.)
Loosen bot h the dovet ail-plate lock screw and safet y screw until the t ips of these screws no longer
extended into the inner part of the dovetail block. Slide the dovetail-mount ed scope into t he dovetail
mounting block of the mount and tighten the
dovet ail lock screw (centered on the notch)
onto the dovetail tube plate until snug.
First tighten the dovetail lock screw, and then
tighten t he small chrome safety screw onto
the dovetail mounting block until snug.
Change the position of the dovetail tube pate
on the VMC95L or VMC110L optical tube with
the supplied Allen wrench if you attach it onto a
Vixen mount other than the
SKYPOD and PORTA .
1. Remove the dovetail t ube plate from t he
optical tube.
2. Attach the dovetail tube plate to the bottom
of the optical tube as shown in the figure.
3. Loosen both the dovetail-plate lock screw
and safet y screw unt il t he t ips of t hese
screws no longer extended into the inner
part of the dovetail block. Slide the dovetail-
mounted scope into the dovetail mounting
block of the mount and tighten the dovetail
lock screw (centered on the notch) onto the
dovetail tube plate until snug.

PREFACE Thank you very much for your purchase of a Vixen astronomical telescope.
This manual applies t o VMC95L and VMC110L telescopes. You may occasionally find descript ions in the t ext not relevant to
your part icular model.
Read instructions for a mounting of telescope along with this manual when you purchased the t elescope as a complete package.
CAUTION
Do not leave the optical tube uncapped in the daytime. Sunlight passing through the telescope or finder scope may cause a fire.
Do not use the product while moving or walking, injuries could result from a collision with objects or from stumbling or falling.
Keep small caps, plastic bags, or plastic packing materials away from children. These may cause a danger of swallowing
or suffocation.
Do not use the product in a wet environment and do not handle with wet hands.
Do not leave the product inside a car in bright sunshine, or in other hot places. Keep any strong heat sourcesaway from the product.

Do not expose t h e pr oduct t o rai n, wat er, dirt or sand .
Avoid touching any lens or mirror surfaces directly with your hands. In case a lens or mirror becomes dirty with fingerprints or general
smears, gently wipe it using a commercially available lenscleaner and a lens cleaning paper or cloth, or consult your local Vixen dealer.
Blow off dust on l enses using a commercially available blower brush. Do not use compressed air.
For st orage, keep t he product in a d ry pl ace and d o not expose t o direct sunl igh t .
HANDLING AND STORAGE
WARNING!
Never look directly at the sun with the telescope or its finder or guide scope.
Permanent and irreversible eye damage may result.

Magnification of the Telescope
When using an eyepiece with
short focal length (small number in
millimeters), the image will be dim
and the range of sharp focus will
be small. The image will be harder
to see so begin with an eyepiece
with long focal length. Dividing the
focal length of the telescope by
the focal length of t he eyepiece
gives the magnification.
Example: Calculating the eyepiece magnification
of a telescope with 1035mm focal length (VMC110L).
