Voice-Acousticprovidesa2yearwarrantyformaterialandprocessinganditisproduct-related,which
meansthatwhenyoutransferyourdevice,yourwarrantywillstillbevalid.
Thewarrantystartsatthedateofpurchaseuponprooffromanocialdealer.
Noclaimsareacceptedfornewimportswhichhavenotpurchasedviatheocialcommercialchannels
andauthorizeddealers.Theproductwarrantyisvoidiftheseriesnumberisremovedorunreadable.
Theserialnumberislocatedattherearrightsideofthesidewall!
Voice-Acousticwillnotbeliableforanydamagesduetotransport,impropertreatment,operationwith
inadequatevoltages,humidity,maintenancenotaccordingtotheprescribedintervals,excessivedustor
contamination,powderofreextinguisher,operationwithdefectivepoweraggregates,operationwith
defectiveperipherals,modicationormodicationswithoutthepriorauthorizationbythemanufacturer,
servicebyanon-authorizedworksiteornormalwear.
Thewarrantyisonlyapplicabletothematerialandworktimefortherepairofthedefectiveproduct.
DevicesincompliancewiththetermsofthewarrantywillberepairedorreplacedbyVoiceAcoustic,aswe
deemt.Forservice,pleasecontactyourdealer.RepairsunderwarrantyclaimsareperformedatD-27313
Dörverden,oruponappointmentwithanauthorizedlocalservicepartner.Anytransportcostsareborneby
theownerforwhichVoice-Acousticisnotliable.
Nowarrantyorliabilitywillbeacceptedfordamageddownstreamorupstreamdevicesduetofaultyhan-
dling.

TheHDSPamplierserieshasbeendevelopedwiththemostdemandingrequirementsinaudioqual-
ityandreliabilityinmind.Withthehighnumberofoutputchannels,forthersttime,ithasbecomepos-
sibletoseparatelylterbiandtriampingwiththeHDSPseriescosteectively.Theintelligentwide-range
switchingpowersupplyautomaticallydetectstheACinputvaluesmakingitpossibletouseanywherein
theworld.
Theintegratedloudspeakermanagementsystems(DSP–digitalsignalingprocessor)workwitha64
bit/96kHzsamplingrateinaudiophilesoundquality.Premiumconvertersoera120dbdynamicrange
andcanprocessaninputlevelofupto+23dBu.Thisamplierseriesisspeckedoutwiththefactoryset-
tingsforthespeakers,limiterandtimealignmentfortheoutputchannels.Additionallyeachinputchannel
boasts10parametriclters(Bell,HighShelf,LowShelf,Notch,Allpass),compressors,exiblerouting,
phasesettings,alengthydelaysectionfordelaysupto275meters,andaninputlimiter.Theseriesisalso
equippedwithenoughmemorytoaddyourownpresetsfortheuseofloudspeakersfromothermanufac-
turers.TheampliersarelikewiseavailablewithoutVoice-Acousticfactorypresets.

1.4 Filter cleaning
TheairinletonthefrontofyourHDSPamplierisequippedwitharemovablelterfoam.Ifthislteris
dirtyorclogged,theoutputstageisnolongercooledeciently,whichcanleadtoareductionintheoutput
power.
Thereforeyoushouldcleanthelteratregularintervals!
■Unplugthepowerconnectiontoavoidtheriskofelectricshock!
■Releasethetwoscrewsonthefrontgrilleandremovethefrontgrille.
■Removethelterfoamandcleanitwithmilddetergentunderwarmwater.
■Donotusethelteruntilafterdrying.
■Mountthefrontgrillewiththetwoscrews.
■You can reconnect the power connection.

1.5 Operation
Important note:BeforeconnectingthespeakerstotheHDSPamplier,rstloadthecorrectpreset!The
speakerscouldotherwisedamageorsoundbad,sincewrongparametershavebeenloadedintothedigital
signalprocessor.
Connectthedevicetothepowersupply.Theinitializationprocesstakessomeminutes.Thistimeisre-
quiredforstartinguptheunit.
Duringtheinitializationprocessallinputsandoutputsaremutedautomatically,inordertoavoidundesired
crackingsounds.Whenthecontrollerhasstartedup,itreleasestheprogrammedchannelsagain,andthe
nameofthemodelandthemostrecentpresetareviewedontheLCD-display.
Now,HDSP-Amplierisreadyforoperation.

With the function Routinginthesystemmenuyoucongurethesignalsource,ifyouwishtomakeyour
ownpresettingstooperateotherspeakers/congurations.
FortheimplementationofaVoice-AcousticSetandthedisplayofapresetspeaker,therouterhasalready
beendeterminedandcannotbealtered,inordertoavoidtheoccurrenceoffaults.
■Turn the Encoder wheel to select between Mono 3-Way or Stereo + Sub.
■PressthetopBUTTONtoconrmtheselection.
Now,thedeviceisroutedandyoucanmakeyoursettings!
