
REMOTE CONTROL KEY
Locks doors and tailgate and arms the
alarm*.
Unlocks the doorsAand tailgate, and
disarms the alarm.
Unlocks the tailgate – it does not
open.
Approach lighting. Switches on
the lamps in the side mirrors*, the
direction indicators and parking
lamps, at the number plate, passenger
compartment and floor.
Panic function. Press and hold for
approx. 5 seconds in an emergency
to trigger the alarm. Switch off with
a double press on the lock or unlock
button.
AAutomatic relocking takes place if a door/tailgate is
not opened within 2 minutes after unlocking.
The key blade can be used to lock/unlock the
glovebox.
NOTE
Idling speed is higher for a short time after
a cold start so that the engine shall reach
normal operating temperature as soon as
possible. This means that the emission
system can function optimally.
COLD START STARTINGTHE ENGINE
3.2 petrol: Depress the clutch and/or brake
pedal, turn the remote control key to position
III and release it directly – the engine starts
automatically.
All other engines: Depress the clutch and/or
brake pedal, turn the remote control key to
position III and release it when the engine
starts.
Diesel: Preheat the engine by turning the key
to position II until the control symbol in the
instrument panel goes out.
WINDSCREEN WIPERS AND RAIN SENSOR*
