
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using the VULSINI heaters, the below basic safety precautions must be followed:
• Please read all the instructions before using the appliance
• Do not leave the power transformer covered or in the bag pocket when in use
• Ensure all connections are secure before connecting to a mains power supply
• Do not leave the appliance on continuously for longer than 7 hours as this may cause
the power transformer to overheat
• Do not leave the bag connected via the car lighter adaptor for longer than 1 hour
• The appliance is not to be used by children, or persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction
• The appliance is to only be used with the supplied power supply
• The appliance must only be supplied at SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage)
• The appliance is not to be used if there are signs of damage
• If the external cable or cord of the product is damaged it shall be replaced by the
manufacturer or service agent in order to prevent a hazard
• Do not touch hot surfaces
• To protect against electrical hazard or damage to the electrical element, do not
immerse the cord, plug or bag in any liquid or allow excess liquid to soak into the bag
• Keep the appliance and all electrical cables out of reach of children
• Do not leave the appliance unattended when in use
• Unplug from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning
• Allow to cool before cleaning the appliance
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven
• Do not use the appliance for other than the intended use as described in this manual
• Use heat resistant gloves to lift heated stones or bamboo sticks from the appliance
• Do not use this appliance when you are feeling drowsy or are going to fall asleep
• The VULSINI heater is not a toy, extreme caution is required when using this appliance
CAUTIONS
• The VULSINI heater should not be used for a treatment if the following conditions are
present: Tuberculosis, tumours, open wounds, haemorrhages, bruises, broken skin,
thrombosis or phlebitis, varicose veins or undetermined joint pain in the calf
• People, who are pregnant, have diabetes or other illness, should have a physician’s
approval prior to receiving massage stone therapy
• Contact your physician if you have any questions concerning the therapeutic eects of
massage stones or sticks heated with this appliance
• Discontinue use of the heater if you or the recipient experience any discomfort from the
therapy and contact your physician immediately
