ATTACHING THE MOTOR TO YOUR BOAT
Attach the motor to the stern of the boat and tighten both mounting
bolts securely while taking care not to over-tighten.
To adjust the angle of the motor after attachment, hold the motor
head with one hand and press the position at the top of the mounting
bracket with your other hand. Press and hold the positioning pin until
the desired angle has been reached, next release the pin and ensure
it has been locked. (B)

DEPTH ADJUSTMENT
Hold the motor shaft with one hand, lossen the depth adjustment
screw and set the motor to the desired depth, then retighten the adjus-
ting screw securely. (C)

SPEED CONTROL
The tiller control is telescopic and can be extended to a length of
20cm. The speed control, featuring five forward and two reverse
speeds. Turn the handle clockwise to move forward and anti-clock-
wise to go backward.(D)

DEACHING THE PROPELLER
Before doing anything with the propeller, ensure the cables to the
battery are disconnected.
Detaching the propeller is a simple matter of unscrewing and
removing the locknut using the special tool supplied. When doing
this, take hold of propeller to stop it turning. Once the locknut is
removed, you will be able to slide the propeller off. when putting
the propeller back on, verify there is a proper fit of the groove and
shear pin otherwise the propeller will not be locked in place.(E)

ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Before connecting the motor’s cables to the battery terminals, ensure all
switches are in the OFF position and stand clear of the propeller.
Connect the red cable to the positive (+) terminal, and black cable to the
negative (-) terminal, making sure the terminals are clean before doing this.
A clean connection will minimize power wastage and give you maximum
power from the battery.
The battery should be kept in a well-ventilated location. We recommend
using a special deep cycle marine battery for optimum performance. (F)

TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE/SOLUTION
Speed loss 1. Check for line or weed on propeller
2. Check battery status.
3. Check terminals on battery.
Motor noise/shake 1. Check propeller for line or weed.
2. Check to see propeller is secure and not
damaged.
3. Check shaft to ensure it is not bent. Detach
propeller and run motor visually to ensure
shaft is not shaking. If shaft is damaged
contact your retailer.
Loss of speed setting 1. Check all wiring connections.
2. Speed coil in motor may be burned,
contact your retailer.
Tight steering 1. Loosen counterforce screw, apply lubricant
and readjust.
For problems not listed contact your retailer
MAINTENANCE
At the end of the day, wipe the motor down with a cloth soaked in warm
water and then rinse unit with light spray from house. Always check
the propeller is clear of line or weed, regularly check all nuts, bolts and
screws and lubricate all moving parts with an aerosol lubricant. Clean
terminal connections regularly and check for frayed wires or loose
connections.
STORAGE
When storing the motor, lubricate all moving parts and screws and store
in a wellventilated, dry area. Do not leave the motor outside in winter for
long periods, as this will damage the permanent magnet in the motor unit.

MONTERING AV MOTORN PÅ BÅTEN
Fäst motorn på akterspegeln eller motorplattan, och dra åt
spännskruvarna.
För att justera vinkeln när motorn sitter på plats, håll om kontroll-
boxen med en hand, tryck ner knappen för motorvinkel med den
andra handen. Justera till önskad vinkel, släpp justerknappen så
att motosvinkeln låses (B)

HÖJDJUSTERING
Håll i motorns rigg med ena handen. Lossa skruvarna för höjd-
justering med den andra handen. Justera till önskad rigglängd,
och dra åt skruvarna igen. (C)

GASREGLAGE
Gashandtaget är teleskopiskt och kan förlängas med 20 cm.
Reglaget har fem gaslägen fram, och två gaslägen bak. Vrid
gasreglaget medurs för drift framåt, och moturs för att backa.

MONTERING AV PROPELLER
Se till att kablarna till batteriet är frånkopplade
Att montera på och av propellern är enkelt med låsbrickan som
håller fast propellern. Använd det medföljande verktyget för att få
ett bra grepp om låsbrickan. Håll fast propellern med andra handen
så att propellern inte roterar. Det är viktigt att brytpinnen sitter på
plats genom propelleraxeln, och passas in i skåran på propellerns
baksida. (E)

KOPPLING AV EL
Innan anslutning av kablar till batteriets poler, försäkra Dig onm att
gasreglaget är i ”noll-läge”, och håll propellern fri.
Anslut den röda kabeln till batteriets plus (+) pol, och den svarta
kabeln till batteriets minus (-) pol. Se till att batteriets poler är rena
innan anslutning. Rena batteripoler minimerar strömförlusten. För-
vara batteriet på en ventilerad plats. Använd ett marinbatteri som
klarar djupa urladdningar. (F)

FELSÖKNING
PROBLEM MÖJLIG ANLEDNING / LÖSNING
Minskad hastighet 1. Kolla om sjögräs eller lina fastnat i propellern
2. Kolla batteristatus.
3. Kolla batteripolerna.
Oljud eller skakningar 1. Kolla om sjögräs eller lina fastnat i propellern
i motorn 2. Kolla att propellern sitter fast eller är
skadad.
3. Kolla så att propelleraxeln inte är skadad eller
böjd. Ta av propellern och torrkör motorn,
säkerställ att motorn inte skakar. Vid skadad
axel, kontakta din återförsäljare.
Trög styrning 1.Lossa justerskruvem, smörj axeln och justera
skruven.
Vid övriga problem, kontakta din återförsäljare.
UNDERHÅLL
Efter användning, torka av övre delen av motorn med fuktig trasa. Skölj
motorns fäste och nedre delar med färskvatten. Kolla att propellern är fri
från linor, sjögräs etc. Kolla regelbundet skruvar och muttrar, och smörj
rörliga delar. Rengör kabelskor och kolla att batterikablarna sitter väl fast
och är i god kondition
FÖRVARING
Vid längre tids förvaring, smörj motorns rörliga delar och skruvar. Förvara
i torrt utrymme. Lämna inte motorn utomhus under vintern, eller längre
perioder.
