PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO
EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY
1. Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open since open-door ope-
ration can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not
to defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks.
2. Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow
soil or cleaner residue to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
3. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the
oven door close properly and that there is no damage to the:
a) Door (bent).
b) Hinges and latches (broken or loosened).
c) Door seals and sealing surfaces.
4. The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except properly qua-

(d)Donotusethecavityforstoragepurposes.Do notleavepaperproducts,
cookingutensils,orfoodinthecavitywhennotinuse.
17. Liquids,suchaswater,coffee,orteaareabletobeoverheatedbeyondtheboi-
ling point without appearing to be boiling. Visible bubbling or boiling when the
container is removed from the microwave oven is not always present.
THIS COULD RESULT IN VERY HOT LIQUIDS SUDDENLY BOILNG
OVER WHEN THE CONTAINER IS DISTURBED OR A SPOON OR
OTHER UTENSIL IS INSERTED INTO THE LIQUID.
To reduce the risk of injury to persons:
(a) Do not overheat the liquid.
(b) Stir the liquid both before and halfway through heating it.
(c) Do not use straight-sided containers with narrow necks.
(d)Afterheating,allowthecontainertostandinthemicrowaveovenforashort
time before removing the container.
(e) Use extreme care when inserting a spoon or other utensil into the container.

WARNING: When the appliance is operated in the combination mode, children
should only use the oven under adult supervision due to the temperatu-
res generated; Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.

Unpacking and Accessories
Unpackallaccessoriesfrominsidethecookingcavity,including:
■Cooler Insert
■DC Direct To battery Cable
■DC Power Outlet Cable
■CookingRack
Store the 2 DC cables in a convenient location to be used with any DC battery source.
Use the cooler insert to pack food and beverage inside the cooking cavity and keep it
cold until you are ready to heat things up. The included cooking rack improves cooking
performance and is especially designed for microwave popcorn.
Correct Disposal of this product
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with
otherhouseholdwastesthroughouttheEU.
To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from
uncontrolledwastedisposal,recycleitresponsiblytopromotethesus-
tainablereuseofmaterialresources.Toreturnyouruseddevice,please

INSTALLATION
1. Steady,atlocation:Whenpositioningthemicrowaveoven,itshouldbesetonaat,
steady surface.
2. Ventilation:Donotblockairvents.Iftheyareblockedduringoperation,theoven
mayoverheatandeventuallycauseovenfailure.Forproperventilation,keep3in-
chesofspacebetweentheoven’stop,sides,rearandtheareaswheretheunitistobe
installed.
3. RadioandTVreception:Poortelevisionreceptionandradiointerferencemayresult
iftheovenislocatedclosetoaTV,radio,antennaorantennawire.Positlontheoven
as far from them as possible.
A. A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from beco-
ming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
B.Longercordsetsorexercisedcordsareavailableandmaybeusedifcareisexer-
clsed in their use.
C. If a long cord or extension cord is used. (1)the marked electrical rating of the cord
set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the ap-
pliance. (2)the extension cord must be a grounding type 3 wire cord and. (3)the
longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or
tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.

thruanystandard12Vpoweroutlet(20Aminimum)or“cigarettelighterconnection”in
yourvehicle.Thispowersourceisveryconvenient,butsacricessomecookingspeed.
NOTE: A SPARK MAY OCCUR WHEN CONNECTING THIS MICROWA-
VE TO A POWER SOURCE. THIS IS A NORMAL PHENOMENON AND
DOES NOT INDICATEA DEFECTIVE APPLIANCE.
Please only connect to a DC power outlet rated at 20amps or higher. Information on the
amp rating for all your vehicle’s power outlets can be found in the users manual under
“fusediagram”.TheWaveBoxisbuilttobeoperatedwiththevehiclerunningtoreduce
theriskofunintendedbatterydrain,andtodelivermaximumcookingpower.
NOTE: DonotconnecttheWaveBox®to morethan asinglepowersourceatany
giventime.Itwillnotoperate.AfterconnectingyourWaveBox®toasingle
powersource,theunitwillbeeptoletyouknowitisreadyforuse,displaying
zerosinthedisplaywindow.TheWaveBox®isnowreadyforoperation.
NOTE: ForDCoperationbesuretomaintaincorrectpolarity.TheWaveBoxwillnot

Someforeigncarsandtrucksemployapositivegrounddesign.TheWaveBoxwillnot
operateusingapositivegroundconnection.Ifindoubt,consultwithyourvehicle’sdea-
lership.
Whenconnectingtoanautomobile,smalltruck,boatorvan,theengineshouldberun-
ning in order to prevent discharge of the battery to a point where the vehicle will not
start.Connectthealligatorclipstothevehicle’sbattery,startthevehicle’sengine,and
thenoperatetheWaveBox.TodisconnecttheWaveBox,shutoffthevehicle’sengine,
and remove the alligator clips from the vehicle’s battery. Do not connect or disconnect
the alligator clips with the engine running.When connecting to large trucks, motor
homes or buses the unit may be used without running the engine.

Setting cooking times manually
Press the “Minute”buttononce,andthecookingtimewillbesetforoneminute,with
the Display Window showing “01:00”; Press the “Minute”buttontwice,andthecoo-
kingtimewillbesetfortwominutes,withtheDisplayWindowshowing“02:00”. The
maximum time that can be set by the “Minute” button is 20 minutes.
Press the “Second”buttononce,andthecookingtimewillbesetfor5seconds,withthe
Display Window showing “00:05”;Pressthe“Second”buttontwice,andthecooking
timewillsetfor10seconds,withtheDisplayWindowshowing“00:10”. The maximum
time that can be set by the “Second” button is 55 seconds.
Youmaypressandholdthe“Minute” or “Second” button for 2 seconds and the timer
will automatically increase in increments.
Oncethecookingtimehasbeenset,pressthe“Start/Stop” button once and the Wave-
Box®willbegintowork.
Attheendofthecookingtime,theWaveBoxwillbeepsixtimestosignalthatcooking
has nished.
Ifyouwanttostopcookingpriortotheendofthecookingtime,simplypressthe“Start/
Stop”buttononceandtheWaveBox®willstopcooking.
NOTE: TheWaveBox®isbuiltwithanABSplasticshellwithcompactdesignfor
portability.Aftereachcookingoperationiscompleted,theinternalfanwill
continue to operate for a few more minutes to cool down the system. Then the
fanwillstop.ThisnormaldooropenfanoperationfortheWaveBox®.does
notmeanthattheunitisdefective.PleasedonotreturntheWaveBox®toyour
retailer/distributor due to this unique fan operation.
Child Lock
Forthesafetyofchildren,parentscanpressandholdthe“Start/Stop” button for 5 se-
conds,and“OFF”willbeshownontheDisplayWindow,lockingallbuttons.
Tounlockallbuttons,parentsmustpressandholdthe“Start/Stop” button again.

Cooking Times
Cooking times in DC direct connect mode are excellent.
Some cooking speed is sacriced when using DC power outlet mode due to the wiring
ratings of most automobiles and boats. DC power outlet mode requires power outlet
amperageof20ampsorgreater.Seethe“fuseschart”inyourvehicle’sownersmanual
to determine the amperage of your power outlet system.

Wipe with a soft cloth and warm water. Do not use any household or abrasive cleaner.

Door Seals
Alwaysmakesurethatdoorsealsarecleananddebrisfree,allowingthedoortoseal

o Is the oven connected to a suitable single power source?

o Check the fuse in your AC or DC power system. Do not attempt to check the
fuse inside this microwave oven. Servicing must be performed only qualied
service personnel.

DURCH ÜBERMÄSSIGE MIKROWELLENENERGIE ZU VERMEIDEN
1. Versuchen Sie nicht, die Mikrowelle bei geöffneter Tür zu betreiben, da dies
