Read this manual thoroughly before using and save it for future reference
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Read all instructions before using.
2. Before connecting the kettle to the power supply, check that the voltage indicated on the appliance (underside the
kettle & base) corresponds with the voltage in your home. If this is not the case, contact your dealer and do not use the
kettle.
3. Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch a hot surface.
4. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
5. Do not operate the appliance without anything in it to avoid damaging the heat elements.
6. Ensure that the kettle is used on a firm and flat surface out of reach of children, this will prevent the kettle from
overturning and prevent damage or injury.
7. To protect against a fire, electric shock or personal injury, do not immerse cord, electric plugs or kettle in water or
other liquids.
8. While water is boiling, or just after the water has been boiled, avoid contact with steam from the spout.
9. Always take care to pour boiling water slowly and carefully without tipping the kettle too fast.
10. Be careful of refilling when the kettle is hot.
11. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
12. Do not touch the hot surface. Use the handle or the button.
13. The attached base can not be used for other than intended use
14. Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot water.
15. The appliance is not a toy. Do not let the children play it.
16. The kettle is for household use only. Do not use outdoors.
17. The use of accessory attachments, that are not recommended by the appliance manufacturer, may result in fire,
electric shock or personal injury.
18. Unplug the kettle from the outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the kettle to cool before putting on or
taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
19. To disconnect, turn any control to “off,” then remove plug from wall outlet.
20. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
21. This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug. Please ensure the wall outlet in your house is well
earthed.
22. Always ensure the lid is closed and do not lift it while the water is boiling. Scalding may occur if the lid is
removed/opened during the boiling.
23. Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
24. The kettle can only use with the stand provided.
25. If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may spill out.
26. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
27. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or metal capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
28. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
29. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
–staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
–farm houses;
–by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
–bed and breakfast type environments.
30. Do not immerse in water for cleaning.
31. The appliance must not be immersed.
32. Avoid spillage on the connector.
33. Beware of potential injury from misuse.
34. The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.

BEFORE USING YOUR KETTLE
Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to maximum capacity and boil. Discard the water and repeat the process.
NOTE: The max capacity of kettle is 1.7L.
OPERATION
1. The kettle should always be unplugged when filling or adding water.
2. Fill the kettle with water to desired level. Do not overfill or there will be a risk of spillage or spitting. The water level
indicator will assist you to measure the correct amount. You can fill the kettle via the spout or after opening the lid.
Do not forget to close the lid after filling, otherwise the kettle will not automatically switch off after use.
3. Do not fill with less than min level of water(to “min” indication)to prevent the kettle running dry while operating.
4. Do not fill with more than 1.7 liters of water(to “max” indication).
5. An automatic safety cut-out has been fitted for protection against overheating, it will operate if the kettle is switched
on when containing insufficient water. Always ensure the water inside the kettle covers the minimum mark on the
water level indicator gauge. If the automatic safety cut-out has operated, switch the kettle off, disconnect from the
power outlet and allow the kettle to cool down for 5 to 10 minutes. The refill with and switch on, the kettle will work
as normal.
6. Place the power base on a dry, flat surface. Place the kettle on the power base. The electrical connection will be made
automatically as the kettle slides onto the power base.
7. Plug the cord set into an earthed power socket and switch on by depressing the on/off switch of the kettle to the “on”
position.
8. When the water has boiled, the kettle will switch off automatically, after allowing the kettle to cool down for a while,
the water can be brought back to the boil by pushing the switch back to the “on” position. During the cooling down
time do not force the on/off switch into the “on” position as this can damage the operating mechanism.
9. Do not remove the kettle from the power base without switching off first.
10. Remember, if you do not wish to re-boil the kettle, switch it off.
11. The kettle may be switched off manually at any time by setting the on/off switch into the “off” position.
BOIL-DRY PROTECTION
Should you accidentally let the kettle operate without water, the boil-dry protection will automatically switch off the power. If
this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water to reboil.
CLEANING AND CARE
Proper and regular care will not only ensure safe use but also elongate the lifetime of this appliance.
Warning! Switch of the appliance and disconnect from power supply before you carry out cleaning and maintenance
work to avoid electrical hazard.
1. Let the product cool down.
2. Wipe dust off with a soft dry cloth or soft brush.
3. To clean other debris you may use a slightly wet cloth and neutral detergent.
4. Never immerse electric parts of the appliance in water or other liquids and do not clean the appliance in the
dishwasher.
Note! Do not use chemical, alkaline, abrasive or other aggressive detergents or disinfector to clean this appliance as these
might be harmful to its surface.
DESCALING
From time to time, depended on the nature of your water supply, a boiled scale deposit is naturally formed and can be found
mostly adhered to the heating element, thus reducing the heating efficiency.
The amount of boiled scale deposited (and subsequently the need to clean or re-scale) largely depends on the water hardness in
your area the frequency with which the kettle is used. Boiled scale is not harmful to your health. But if poured into your
beverage, it can give a powdery taste to your drink. Therefore, the kettle should be descaled periodically as indicated below.
Descale kettle regularly. With normal use: at least twice a year
1. Fill the kettle up to “max” with a mixture of one part ordinary vinegar and two parts water. Switch on and wait for the
appliance to switch off automatically.
2. Let the mixture remain inside the kettle overnight.
3. Discard the mixture the next morning.
4. Fill the kettle with clean water up to “max” mark and boil again.

5. Discard the boiled water to remove any remaining scale and vinegar.
6. Rinse the inside of the kettle with clean water.
REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
This appliance does not contain any user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair the appliance yourself. Always bring it to
qualified technician.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order
to avoid a hazard.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTATION
1. Clean the appliance as described and let it dry completely. We recommend storing the appliance in its original
package.
2. Always store the appliance in a dry-well ventilated place out of reach of children.
3. Always carry the appliance on its handle/s and/or grips.
4. Protect the appliance against vibration and shocks when transporting

pollutes the environment!
