These instructions provide all necessary information for the proper use of the chair as well as the appropria-
te care. Therefore, please read the user information completely. The illustrations and information provided in
these instructions may differ from your product. We are constantly striving to improve and renew our products,

errors.
1. Proper use
WERKSTAR-work chairs are designed for sitting on a rm, level surface. Any use beyond the intended use or
any other use beyond the intended use is considered misuse. The use of the work chair not in accordance
with the instructions, disregarding the safety regulations or the operating instructions or deferred main
tenance shall exclude liability for resulting damage to persons or objects and will invalidate the guarantee
claim!
2. Safety instructions
WERKSTAR-work chairs were developed and manufactured according to DIN 68877. The production accor-
ding to DIN EN ISO 9001 fulls the requirements of the workplace regulations.
• Read the operating instructions carefully before using the work chair.
• Only use the product as intended.
• Never climb onto the chair. Danger of falling!
• Always make sure that the product is operating properly.
• Remove oil and grease residues from the work chair and keep it dry.
• Maintain the work chair with care. Keep the chair clean so that you can work well and safely with it in the
long term. Follow the cleaning instructions.

3. Assembly
1. Insert the castors on the underside of the base
into the holes provided until the locking ring engages
completely.
2. Insert the column into the base.
3. Put the seat support on the column and load the chair.
4. Adjustment options
Adjust the chair to your needs step by step
while seated.
Acc. to DIN 68 877, a chair that can be adjusted to a
height of more than 650 mm must be equipped with a
step-up rail and sit-stop castors or glides.
5. Cleaning instructions
Please clean the chair by hand with common, gentle cleaning agents only.
6. Disposal information
Worn-out work chairs must be taken out of service immediately and properly in order to avoid later misuse
and danger to persons or the environment.
• Disassemble the work chair into manageable and recyclable assemblies and components.
• Dispose the components environmentally friendly.
